Girl you are stunning! Love your confidence. “You do you”. Yes mam! You’ll become a sewer as you continue to make things. You’ve already got a good grasp of the basics!!
Great job explaining how to make and wear them. Good luck. I hope they sell really well for you. Love seeing you make videos. Your a talented and hard working young lady.
I've sewn all my life and sew for the public now doing alterations. Ill tell good job with sewing and explaining it for newbies or non-sewers. Keep up the good work!
Love hearing you and your dad and brother explain things too! It seems your mom has most of the talking Jobs on the videos so it is nice hearing ya’lls perspective too! ❤️
You need to get someone to take pics of you wearing them in the different ways, that way you can make copies and sell them with the product. If people notice something like that right on the pkg, they will see what a good idea they are, and snatch them up. You make a great model Emily. Good job on making them. Get you a quilters ruler and rotary cutter when stuff is marked down at Hobby Lobby. You'll make cutting much easier! God's blessings !
I’ve sewn for years but I still shy away from knit fabrics, although I know it’s not really that bad. You need to make sure you use the correct needle for knit fabric or you’ll have issues. And like you said, a zig zag stitch is necessary to use or those stitches will pop as soon as you pull on it if you used a straight stitch. Speaking from my past experiences lol.
Good to see young person making stuff instead of just doing nothing you are ahard worker you will gi far in life. Hope you make lots of money. May god bless you and your endeavor.
Great job Emily showing us how to make a cool head wrap. Demonstrating different ways to wear was great also. Thanks for sharing and may God bless you real good.
I have been wearing these for years and love them. So happy to see your families opening a store. Praying God's provision over this next chapter. Great job on this project and video. ❤️
Great video Emily !!! I can't wait to show this to my grand daughter and daughter. We can all make some together. We love to do projects together. I'm 62 and have worn boho clothes most of my life so this is right up my alley. Thank you!! 😍
I just found you while looking for a tutorial. You did a fantastic job! These look amazing on you. My 25 year old son wears them. I will be able to make some for him in custom colors thanks to you!
I'm a secretary in a medical office. We now have to use PPE. These seem like a good, pretty way to cover our hair. You did great explaining the process. 🤗
Great job, Emily! Those are adorable, especially on you. You need a rotary cutter & ruler. It would make cutting those really quick. I know you will so great selling those. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏
Awesome job Emily ! Such an easy to follow DIY VIDEO. I also appreciate modeling and showing us firsthand the many uses and the steps to replicate them. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. God bless
You did a very good job with your tutorial Emily! Love these. I started wearing these this year. And I am 68 years old! Ha! Super comfortable when working outside too.
Emily... I am so impressed... you did an amazing job telling us how to make a bolo headband 👍. I too have those annoying baby hairs around my face. Now I know what I can do to help with that! 😋
This was fantastic Emily. Your one smart cookie. You voice, sounds just like your mom's. Beautiful. I have another way to wear them. I make a fake braid out of them. Been doing it for 10 years. Just weave in and out. I have a sparkling gold band that makes it look very dressy. My hair is down to my waist. I'm 71 years old, and people think I'm 50, as it is trendy, neat and cute styling. Great job Emily. My granddaughter, whos name is Emily also, and is 16 years old, and lives in Upstate New York wears them also. A lot in common. 😃. G-D Bless.
Great job Emily! Thanks for the idea and showing us how to make them! Our girls went and bought material to make and sell them. They did really good. So hopefully they will sell well for you in your store! Can’t wait to see your family’s store when it opens! That is one of our dreams on our farm is to open a store on it to sell all of our honey and other products we raise and make!
Great tutorial. I liked your chill vibe; it’s like a hanging-out-with-your-besties-doing-helpful-DIYs kind of feel. It was a helpful video and I enjoyed it. Thank you.
Such a great video tutorial. I can definitely see how much more comfortable you are getting in front of the camera. Making me want to pull out the sewing machine 😊
Love this tutorial, Emily! Since, Covid, yeah...I don't "do" my hair as often, so these are perfect! Miss you guys! Have a great year! -Mrs. Rhonda H :)
Emily that was a fabulous video - the very last way took me back to the sixties "Hippy Style" but I think everyone of your styles was great, by the way you have amazing eyes which are accentuated by those bands. Cheers Denise - Australia
Great video Emily, and the Bolo’s are so cute, you on the other hand are so beautiful! Wow what a great idea to show how these are made. I know your business will thrive, so get busy, you will sell out all the time, you will need friends to help you keep up. You go girl! God bless you❣️
Great video, Emily, nice job explaining. It's videos like this, that inspire other young girls, to want to learn how to sew and make their own Bandeau's
Thanks for showing how to make this! I am going to try it. I think I will practice on t-shirt material first. Plus I know I have a couple shirts made from that type of material you showed that don't fit me anymore...so I am going to up cycle them into a bandeau! Actually second hand stores would be a great place to get that material cheap by up cycling shirts into bandeaus. I am thinking I am going to make some for stocking stuffers 🤯🥶 I know right....thinking Christmas gifts already ...crazy! Oh I was thinking to help in holding the material in place you could place a couple pins to help hold it. And not sure if that material ravels much but it helps to use a pinking sheers to cut the ends along a seam to keep it from raveling over time 👍👍 Great job on doing this!!
I really enjoyed your tutorial on these! I could do this ( you made it simple and easy to learn). I need this for summer time so bad cause I sweat so bad on my face in hot weather 😩 This would help me tremendously! Thank you Emily 🌻
