Why do people hide their caps? I see it all the time and I don't understand it, the caps are so freaking powerful. Why wouldn't you use that to secure a good position?
I agree... I think some people try to protect their capital by hiding it but thats just because they dont fully understand its power

I don’t think he really sued for 2nd. I think he just wanted to muerdur blue.
Had black actually worked with blue to create the infinite card trade is there anything you can do? I think it actually kind of ruins the game when people do that. I mean it is hard to argue it is unfair as all 2 player card block kind of work in a similar way. The worst part is if the player they do this to, as in this case you, is the strongest then it can take a really long time for the game to actually end. Would you concede in such a situation? These games are fun to play and to watch most of the time though.
It would depend on what set up they tried to hit me with. But if I am in the strongest position and the other 2 tried to card block me I would come up with a plan immediately. You can't delay for long once it's set up so you need to plan and act asap.
@@Kylted The only thing that you would be able to do I think is make a huge stack and smash the center capital. But that would be a game losing move I think.
@@lightlayagajoie5739 It depends on the board layout and the troop totals and stuff. It's hard for me to answer a hypothetical. But I do very often prevent myself from card blocks before they happen by the way I take cards and place troops.. and if something creeps up on me there are ways to fight against it but you must act immediately. I believe I could likely break whatever block was threatening me but there is always the exception
It's a necessary part of the game. The other option is usually a 4 hour long stalemate, which is what REALLY ruins the game, in my opinion. Card blocking is just starving the other guy of troops, like a siege tactic. It's totally legit. If you're playing with decent players you can threaten to ruin one of their games if you're getting card blocked and don't have the troops to smash your way out of it. You're losing the game anyway, but you get to pick who gets 1st. For a good player, you putting your entire stack right in their face is enough to get them to back off and give you cards. For a bad player, well, maybe you can survive after you slam their card block with your big stack.
