Now that was sportsmanship at the end. Blue knew that with their feud against Green, there was no way to win, so instead of just digging in their heels for no reason other than to waste time and prolong the game, they pulled their troops away from the capital and conceded defeat. Very respectable!
I know it's super late, but I have an explanation for around 32:25. The reason he had so many troops left on his leftmost cap was because you blocked it, so he couldn't move the 100 he already had. He did a card trade and had his territory income, which he stacked on the territory you left to block the cap. Basically, both caps had 100, and he used his troops on the block that you made and suicided on your cap with those. Edit: I literally just watched you realize after I resumed the video. I'm a dumbass 😂
At this point of time, I’d have to say you’re the number 1 content creator for risk. The amount of eyes you have on the game far surpass Pete’s. And considering the game has slowly gone down in players since Pete first blew up risk, for this game to be a successful “esport” a new “face” must be made
Selecting blizzards for this map in the first place is so funny because any placement where they would make a difference just completely isolates a bonus and makes the game unplayable
13:27 "I do have the strict settings where you have to have your email and your phone verified" I get it. But, by the same token, I don't really want to hand my phone number to Twitch. Same with Discord. They already have a ton of my information, they don't need my phone number too.
TIP : if you attack somewhere where you cannot go anywhere else then you should leave all the troops there instead of just 3 and fortify all of them back .
Only issue with that tip is that it doesn't work as well with capitals. Capitals have a much higher defence, meaning an enemy could more easily destroy your stack of troops and then go for your capital, if you station them outside.
Better tip and also answering the question at 16:25 - slow roll 1v1 so when you win you don't need to move any troops in to that space, means you don't get any troops trapped and works especially well on this map!
@20:45 you split your troops when you're taking over a bonus. It makes sense to do it for the first two, but the last one you split a 14 to and 11 and a 3. You moved back 11 to defend your capital. If you had just moved all 14 into the last territory you could have moved 13 back onto the capital instead of splitting them. I've seen this in a few of your videos so just wanted to mention it, not that a couple extra troops matters all the time.
Not scouting High Security at 7:00 seems like a mistake to me, you can't really do anything else with that 4 stack next to purple's 1. Only reason to not do so would be to avoid making someone angry.
Sounds like this info won’t matter but as someone who did achieve affiliate once upon a time it is a 30 day rolling period so it doesn’t have to happen during a month but just during a 30 day period.
Huh. I was wondering why you fortified inside if the top section. It feels like fortifying inside the octagon would be a better move. They might have a pyrrhic victory getting through your troops, and then not be able to break your bonus. It's an off chance, but it feels accurate.
He messed up troops placemeant, he atacked from the middle in every side, losing troops for attacking in other direction, he should do a quick math and split soldiers better, that would give him 15 instead 11 on his capital after taking +5 from purple. Also, same mistake earlier, when he tried to take +6 beside his capital, he lost some turn for managing troops, this 11->15 would go up to 19, pretty safe position without to much risk.
Love the videos! Although the fact that CG kept leaving 3 behind in a stack he was planning on fortifying elsewhere was annoying... He basically just lost 2 troops for nothing.
@@dersimonyt9560 What I'm saying is to leave all the troops instead of only 3. If the stack isn't going to do anything else that turn and will be fortified, you may as well keep it all together so you can fortify more instead of leaving the 3 isolated.
Love that sportsmanship move by blue at the end

I feel like this match was the perfect example of the Italian saying: “between two who are in a dispute, the third profits”
I liked how he saw purple take the bonus then forgot about it 1 turn later
I like how he missed the obvious fact that blue was kill guarding. He literally saw him just take the cap and not go any further.
@@stkosta2482he did noticed it
@@wolflightning2331 True but he noticed it too late

fyi you can also hold, drag to the side, and release for really fast selection.

showing the... rank? skill level? thingie... each player is at the end of the match is a nice touch
This map is ensuring stalemates
low key love the content, easy to watch, entertaining and you sound so wholesome!
I think green saw blue testing you over and over, and telling green to hit you, and decided they weren't here for the shady maneuvers
I once had basically the smae match, smae capital placement, etc. Pretty cool.
As someone who has streamed for 10 years on twitch and still trying to be an affiliate, I believe it is a 30 day thing
Best voice? you are basically jim Carrey. And i love it

A lunar month is 28days, a calendar month is 30 or 31 (February, just does its own thing though 🤷)
First video on your channel, I watched. You got me to want to try Risk, again!

It's an off chance, but it feels accurate.
Because the capital was inside the top section and it takes alot more troops to take a capital
Twitch goes off a 30 day period
blue doesn't seem to understand that capitols have a defensive bonus.
Adore these longer video

It's so refreshing to see someone abandoning the last capital when the game is all but over. Good on you, Blue.
For me your posting these videos at night on this channel
3 magically became a 5 at 14:10
If a card bonus has a matching territory it puts 2 on that territory when the card bonus is used.
