Great job on the video! I Did the NH and maine sections in September on my klr650. Stayed in Rangley, Maine for the night. The next day we too, the Magalloway Rd. to Pittsburgh and Canadian border then returned home to Haverhill, NH area the next day. Whether you’re on a bike or 4x4, this is an awesome route. For those not familiar with the area, September and October are great times to run it as great foliage and it’s usually fairly dry and mild weather.
I am so glad I stumbled on this video! My son and I are planning a couple week trip next summer, originally thinking mostly through Maine. This might be a great option though. We’ll be in a full size, stock suspension 22 Tundra. There wasn’t anything that makes that seem unrealistic. Something you’d recommend? He’ll be just turning 12 when we are planning.
Great video and seems like a great watch for anyone wanting to do the NEBDR. Done some research on the NEBDR and I'm pretty sure the route that was blocked before you reached the Canadian border doesn't actually ever reach Canada so the alternate is actually pretty cool in it's own way. Hope to give this a run some time in the future. Been through much of Maine, NH, and some Canada looking to branch out a little further through the states.
Cool vid. We travelled down from Canada to ride it south to north on fully loaded mid sized adv bikes. I feel it would take so much longer in a 4x4 but the creature comforts would be nice when raining ;). We travelled during hurricane Debbie lol
After driving ~6,500 miles across the USA, from south of San Diego, CA to the Low Point lighthouse in Nova Scotia, CA, staging in Houlton, ME for 100k mile service of 4Runner. Today, 13 Nov 2024, returning south via the NEBDR (temp 26F and clear skies with sunrise ~0630 and sunset ~1600). This video the perfect send off. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know why I am just now finding your channel! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! A video of this BDR in a Tacoma. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to check this out soon! Can you tell me more about the mount on your dash to hold your phone, GMRS mic, etc.
Well the phone mount is just a magnetic steelie mount with a pop socket. The radio is on a ram ball and arm that attaches to a ram track drilled into the dash. It's not a very ridged mounting solution and can't hold much weight. Wouldn't copy.
nice! enjoyed this man! if you ever get back to VT and looking to wheel- there’s a bunch of great trails (Class IVs) to check out. Ridgeback Guide service is solid and worth checking out. In NH the upper part of the Trans-NH trail is fun. Look forward to your next video 🍻
Great video! One of the best videos I've seen of the NEBDR. Just subscribed to your channel. My wife and I are planning on doing part of this trail next year in my Jeep. What do you use to film your adventures? How often are you filming? Any advice you have in hindsight after doing the trail? Where did you get the NEBDR sticker? Thank you.
A cannon camera, a gopro, a pocket osmo, and a drone. I film at every benchmark moment of a trip and I strive to pull a camera out every time a filming idea comes into mind as I'm going along. Of course I can't act on every single one or I wouldn't ever get anywhere. No real advice about that route specifically, just enjoy being on the road. I showed all the spots I thought were highlights and not all the spots I wouldn't care to drive by again. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video!! I love watching your off-road. I became interested with this channel instead of others is solely due to the Tacoma! Can we get a video of your Tacoma build? Or possibly where i can find it?
Thanks for your video. Since it's autumn on your New England drive. Did you encounter heavier traffic on the trails you drove? I didn't notice much/any 4Wheel traffic in your travel. I didn't hear you mention you sure down on this conditioned road. It didn't seem like you needed to very much.

Amazing video, the trip must have been amazing.

Rad hat man!! Great video
Thanks for watching!
@ if you make up some for sale I would be a buyer! Just saying lol
I just was introduced to your channel. Do you think a high clearance Jeep could do the Mid -Atlantic trial? Damascus, VA to Ny?
@garyeitel6850 I haven't done that trail so I don't know but I would assume so. Thank you for watching!
MABDR is easier than the NEBDR. Planning to do the MABDR next year before doing the mabdr.
At.bdr forum thry recommended i do mabdr as my first .

@mesinse1297 I don't have a build video yet because it's not complete yet. There is a video on the tent however. Thank you!
Thanks for your video.

Not really any traffic outside of the popular state parks. Probably 15 to 20% of the route was 4x4 worthy. Thank you for watching!
Great video! I’m hoping to do the whole BDR eventually with my crew. I’ve done most of section 3 through MA! The October mountain section is amazing
I think fall has got to be the time to do it. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Great video! Crazy that you got all that great B Roll solo. Do the AT next!
@lVloose just did 45 miles of it and that will be up here next.
