The gouges from the end caps on the bumper are really annoying, but it'll happen when you remove and replace the end caps. Mopar sells a can of touch-up spray paint for the bumper, but I don't know what the part number is - if you find it, please share it. Also that hole in the bumper at 7:20 is for a dune flag. It looks tough with those 37s!
Looks awesome! Question: When I ordered my Rubicon Wrangler I opted for factory 35" tires so I could get the 4:56 gearing. Was that not an available option on the Gladiator, and if it was, why did you not get it? 🤔 Thank you
Yes of course, going from a 33 to a 37 will add 2.5 inches of height because the tire is 5 inches bigger in diameter so it’s 2.5 inches bigger on each side giving you an additional 2.5 inches of height and clearance underneath
Make sure you deflate the spare time some so if you hit it on a rock the spare doesn’t make you bounce and it’s less likely to cut the spare if it’s deflated some, especially since it’s hanging lower than the stock tire now
I suppose you don't know that you have to recalibrate with a Tazer or some other device to get TRUE speedometer and odometer readings....... Not to mention CORRECT MPG..........
When i first got my JL, here in New-Brunswick , on a 2.5hrs trip , mostly highway i was able to get to 10.5L/100. When i installed the roof rack it went up to 14.3L/100😆.. Then i installed the tent it went to 17.8L/100 and with all that and added 37’s it jumped to 21.3L/100. The i geared 5.13 and not i’m around 14.3L/100 in the spring to fall. Best decision i ever made lol That’s also at 28psi on 37’s nitto’s and beadlocks.
@@SmokinMonkeyOG funny enough i have a hard time keeping 8th gear even with 5.13 here, the wind from tbe coast and the hills are brutal. I wish i did 5.38’s, but i don’t trust a pinion that small lol. I feel like in your area you’d be happy with a re-gear for sure.
@038Landry ya I don’t carry much weight so I’m thinking maybe 4.88 should get me back to the stock level. If they’re selling Jeeps with 35s and 4.56 gears from factory I’m guessing one step up to 4.88 will get me close to that stock feel
@@SmokinMonkeyOG agreed. That was my debate to go between 4.88 and 5.13. All relative to where you live and terrain and what you do with it. If you’re happy with the stock 4.10’s, you’ll be very happy with 4.88 for sure!
Great video again. Nice wheels also. I have something you may be interested in. A way to help make your gladiator payment . Hit me up if you want to know more.
For someone who claims to not have any money you're sure seem to spend a lot, must be RUclips pays well. The tires and wheels look good and there only one inch from the center taller than the 35's so it is not really that big of a difference, however that inch or so of poke as you call it will spray the mud on the side of your jeep. I must say though that this is the first time I've seen a guy use the height of his jeep to show off his knees, HA HA, next time could you get a hot chick to do it for you. You converted your speed to mph could you also convert your milage to mpg for us SAE people. Now go get it muddy.
So, you are two inches taller and two inches' further from center so yea they are a bit harder to turn. You will notice it more on the trail than on the road but I myself would go with the 4 to 1 transfer case as opposed to 4.56 gears in the differentials. Just like the rest of us you would have money if you could just stop spending it but that's like losing weight it is hard to do.
I sold my motorcycle to fund the build. Gotta make sacrifices. If I had money I wouldn’t need to sell my stuff. And the rubicon comes with the 4 to 1 transfer case already
You should be good to go then, I'm 74 and I'm not about to sell my CBR1000RR, a man has to have something to give him an adrenaline rush!@@SmokinMonkeyOG

No it wasn’t but I wish they had that option for the gladiators. Mine is the stock rubicon 4.10
Bro, that thing looks mean! Can't wait for the lift. Great video, very informative.
Thanks man I honestly can’t wait for the lift either lol
Looks awesome! Love the wheels. Good choice.

Nice set up ,it’s time to try them out at breakover angle park.:) this weekend.
Already tried them out lol but I’ll definitely do my best to come up there this weekend
Looks amazing stance wise and those rims are smokin hot. Just wondering about Ontario laws about tire poke as opposed to BC here.
Thanks bro! Never had an issue here in Ontario or have I heard of anyone really having any problems.
Looks so good. 👍🏼 nicely done
Thanks man
Was hoping you would show what tire place you dealt with being from Hamilton.
Can’t give away all my secrets lol place is called affordable wheel and tire
How did you get that steering wheel on a Rubicon??
Bought it online and installed it myself
Looks incredible, how much lift are you thinking?
Thanks! 3.5 - 4 inch
Did you upgrade the steering stabilizer ?
Hell ya girl
@@SmokinMonkeyOG sorry lol. That should have been did ! What did you upgrade to?
@Aceinfinity-le8zc haha all good, I got the Fox ATS. Love it so far
running a bigger spar you need to let the air out of it to give clearance for off road
Did adding 37s add any height to your jt? If so how many inches?
Yes of course, going from a 33 to a 37 will add 2.5 inches of height because the tire is 5 inches bigger in diameter so it’s 2.5 inches bigger on each side giving you an additional 2.5 inches of height and clearance underneath
@@SmokinMonkeyOG Awesome I just added a 2.5 leveling kit and my 37 should be coming this week. I'm super excited.
@pas2275 you will definitely see a nice height difference for sure
@@SmokinMonkeyOG Thank you so much I really really appreciate you for responding
It sounded like you had one size too small on the torx fitting. Try next size up and see if you get a 'solid' fit.
You are not wrong. I took all my tools out of the bed to make room for tires and didn’t not bring the exact size I needed. My mistake totally
So how's your gas mileage? How many litres/100km are you getting with the 37s?
Highway 13-14 city like 18, I also have a heavy foot though
I did my bumper with truck bedliner

Good tip
Wow Mike I'm jealous looks good you the man don't put that in the bush LOL
Thanks man
can you put 42s on the tj
Definitely could but it wouldn’t last very long unless I do $20,000 worth of mods first
bruh just send it spend money and mud pigs jeep
Actually, isn't your TJ a hub centric? :P my 06 LJ is.. not lug centric.
Nope mine is lug centric too on the TJ
She sits really nice on those tires/rims. Looking forward to them seeing some mud soon.

Literally did that in the video lol 😂
Hello can you send me the address or link the place where you bought ur steering wheel but i want the one u have please thanks
Look up mud auto lighting or message me on Instagram I’ll hook you up

ROFL the entire part I waited for has zero sound
There was sound originally but it got a copyright issue so I had to take it out but the video was as already posted

@RCPhotosVideos 17x9.5 with -18 offset. Tire is 37x12.5 R17
