I'm definitely a novice baker and I only have a small NYC kitchen at my disposal, but this was one of the first cakes I've ever baked and it turned out amazing. Moist and not too sweet, with a heavenly combination - sweet blueberries and tart lemons. I made a lemon glaze for the top using just powdered sugar and lemon juice/zest to give it an extra umph, and it was AMAZING. This is by far one of the best things I have baked so far and I am thrilled. My roommates and friends love it!

Okay guys, so I made this last night...whipped it up in a few minutes...and it is amazzing! I was a bit traumatized from the strawberry cake (came out raw in the middle most likely due to over mixing) but with this one I just kept it simple, followed step by step, and VOILA! Made it and its super delicious. Swipe sour cream with Greek yogurt. I used scale to measure as not used to cup measurements . 200gm sugar, 8oz greek yogurt, 4oz oil and 250gm flour. Cake turn out perfect. Thank you Natasha!

Made this last night and it came out so great! I was out of sour cream so I substituted it with a cup of full fat milk and a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice (mix before adding it will thicken a bit more like sour cream). I also used frozen blueberries and strawberries and it worked perfectly!

Natasha my friend, I gotta tell you this. Currently, we do not have an oven due to a kitchen renovation. But after viewing this video, I was inspired to figure out how to make this cake. I decided to try this using my Ninja Foodi Grill's 'Bake' function. OH MY GOODNESS...IT CAME OUT WONDERFULLY! Soft and moist crumb, with each bite bursting with blueberry deliciousness, coupled with the lemon tang. WOW! And I love the crispy edges where some of the blueberries were slightly charred. Saw this recipe and couldn't shake it off my mind so tried it immediately. It came out absolutely perfect. Soft fluffy and so tasty. I added Greek yogurt as I did not have sour cream and reduced all ingredients by half to make a smaller cake. Baking time was exactly 55mins as you said. It came out just as it's suppose to. This cake is amazing. I’ve made this 5 times now and did something wrong yesterday as the cake didn’t rise and it was very dense. I used a spatula instead of a wisk when mixing the dry and wet ingredients and not sure if that’s why. I made one today and it was perfect again. I also starting using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and it’s delicious either way. Thanks for this amazing recipe.

Hi there Natasha thanks for this delicious blueberry cake recipe. Made it for both my and my son’s birthday. It was a hit. So much I have to make it again. The only thing I would change is to decrease the sugar just a bit. Love the generous amount of blueberries used and it tastes better the next day. What else can you whip up. Have to keep following
Amazing cake - thank you 😀 I was swapping blueberries with peeled thin sliced apples and it came out great - you can add 1 teaspoon cinnamon Also Plums instead of blueberries goes well, possibly orange zest be better and even extra 1 teaspoon cinnamon could do
Just made a shortcut bundt cake with fresh blueberries (Duncan Hines hack; not one by NK )...it's good, but dayum, I wish I had thought of searching RUclips first! The recipe I used called for the blueberries to be stirred in at the very end, & I think I should've folded them in at some point 'cuz they're all at the bottom! Oh well...my family knows how much I love to bake -- I got a 3-pc Springform pan set for Christmas (tried it once many years ago during my early baking days..let's just say, they make me helluva nervous), but I need to order some of those parchment paper liners & try again! 😋

I'm not much of a baker (except artisan SD breads) but I've tried this now with blueberries and with garden rhubarb (that was frozen from the fall). Good. I can see using any kind of fruit. The second time I tried it using Greek yogurt instead of SC and orange instead of lemon. Turned out just as tasty.

I used an egg replacer for the eggs, and yoghurt for the sour cream - but the results were awesome! Thanks a lot for this great recipe. My husband and I really enjoyed it :)
Made this cake and this recipe is a keeper. I would add and additional 1/4 c of sugar to make it sweeter. And i like a strong lemon punch so i add more lemon juice and zest.
This cake is delicious. I would recommend cooking at 350, though. It was slightly too brown. I had to trim it. I used a powdered sugar lemon glaze on top.😋

Hi there Natasha thanks for this delicious blueberry cake recipe. Made it for both my and my son’s birthday. It was a hit. So much I have to make it again. The only thing I would change is to decrease the sugar just a bit. Love the generous amount of blueberries used and it tastes better the next day. What else can you whip up. Have to keep following

I was swapping blueberries with peeled thin sliced apples and it came out great - you can add 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Also Plums instead of blueberries goes well, possibly orange zest be better and even extra 1 teaspoon cinnamon could do

Great recipe, olive oil is a great idea, can be in airfryer on 155 degrees, also whole wheat flour can be used. Once i try it I'lllet you know

Just made a shortcut bundt cake with fresh blueberries (Duncan Hines hack; not one by NK )...it's good, but dayum, I wish I had thought of searching RUclips first! The recipe I used called for the blueberries to be stirred in at the very end, & I think I should've folded them in at some point 'cuz they're all at the bottom! Oh well...my family knows how much I love to bake -- I got a 3-pc Springform pan set for Christmas (tried it once many years ago during my early baking days..let's just say, they make me helluva nervous), but I need to order some of those parchment paper liners & try again! 😋

I'm not much of a baker (except artisan SD breads) but I've tried this now with blueberries and with garden rhubarb (that was frozen from the fall). Good. I can see using any kind of fruit. The second time I tried it using Greek yogurt instead of SC and orange instead of lemon. Turned out just as tasty.

Made this cake and this recipe is a keeper. I would add and additional 1/4 c of sugar to make it sweeter. And i like a strong lemon punch so i add more lemon juice and zest.

This cake is delicious. I would recommend cooking at 350, though. It was slightly too brown. I had to trim it. I used a powdered sugar lemon glaze on top.😋
