    Never thought I’d consider any manufacturer other than Pacific, but your videos have definitely got me thinking about trying one of your’s instead.

    subscribed! i can tell you guys put a lot of thought behind every feature and as soon as i can afford it i will make a yurt my first home. i just hope the yurt movement stays grounded in simplicity so it can compete with the rv industry. the tiny house movement has really become extravagant and overpriced in my opinion

    Is it possible to chose the outdoor color of the yurts such as Black Wall, Red bottom trim, and Red top. Black and Red are my colors.

    I love the Yurt idea....but I live in the desert....dry, sunny and 120 degree days....challenging for Yurt dwelling...

      Yurts will work good in desert too, use wool felts

    I'm impressed, however Edmonton Alberta 40 below is not uncommon. Keep in mind, -40 is the same in C and F.
    I heard you made 40 ft.. But... can you join a 30 or 35 ft. to it? One 50 ft would be nicer than 2 yurts joined.

      You can always make one of your openings into a passage from one yurt to another. They likely wont offer it standard or have a guide, but it shouldn't be hard, it's a simple wood structure.

    Has anyone ever had central heating placed in their yurt?

    • @PhoenixRisingLoL
      @PhoenixRisingLoL 4 года назад

      I've read about some that have used heated flooring and woodstoves, however central heating? not so much. In all likelyhood, it will be overkill. Your biggest concern is the floor, not the walls, which is what central heating normally helps the most with.

    how many square feet is in a 45ft diameter yurt? Do you come and help assemble the yurt ?

    • @PhoenixRisingLoL
      @PhoenixRisingLoL 4 года назад

      you can google the square feet, and they likely do not come and help unless you pay extra for it.

    Yurt is a Turkish word it translates to 3 things in English-1)home 2)dorm 3)dormitory. It means a circular domed dwelling that is portable and self-supporting; originally used by nomadic Mongol and Turkic people of central Asia but now used as inexpensive alternative or temporary housing. You can see how the tribes lived a nomadic life from Central Asia to Anatolia. Watching this series you will find the dramas that took place in these yurts other names for these structures that house families and tribes are oba, otagi, cadir in Turkish. Enjoy watching the series called Ertugrul here. ruclips.net/video/5fJXATpIiUQ/видео.html

    That is cool but you have raised the price for all of those so call upgrades

      Not sure I am following that line of thought, red volcano? We have always offered these standard features on our yurts since we began. We do adjust our pricing annually to reflect the changing cost of materials. I'd love to hear more of your thinking here.

      Ive been researching yurts for years, Shelter Designs prices are great compared to other companies out there. Plus, "so called upgrades" is what sets them apart from other companies, and their customer service is awesome.
