I was privileged to be at the Arlington Cemetery last month. And one of the graves I got to visit was Maureen O'Hara's. It was easy to find. She is buried next to her husband Charles F. Blair Jr.
I love her films, she was such a brilliant actor, and her beauty was spellbinding. I think they were just very close platonic friends. Which I think is a lively way to be. If only we had actors like O’Hara these days. It’s so so sad.
Maureen stated that she never had affairs with her leading men. She was quite well known for that in Hollywood and was considered a "prude." She and Wayne were lifelong friends.

Not with John Wayne I know who she did have an affair with on the set 🤫
Can we get a small hint??????
She was a beautiful woman love her and John Wayne together they both had great films I believe they probably did have a affair most did
McClintock was my favourite of their collaborations.
watch it everyday love that movie, love sitting pretty 1948 with clifton webb she was a good dancer with webb.
Yes they did, John had a ranch in Springerville, AZ on the rim, north of the White Mts next to the New Mex border. They would meet there on occasion. She also tells stories of him and her going to Hollywood parties. She would have to drive him home cause he was too drunk to drive. Needless to say, THAT did not last long.
thanks
Probably not. He was totally drunk during all of his movies, so I would be surprised if he could see how great a woman Mareen O: Hara really was.
She was and still is a lot of people's idea of a good looking woman.
Considering her first part of Hollywood life was spent with an abusive husband John Wayne was probably a good friend!
If it was a secret how does anyone know
If they didn't , they should of. They were meant for each other
pure class
I always figured Duke may have had an affair with her.
