Would love to see a video where we can submit pictures of our beards for feedback and advice 🙏🏻 Congrats on the 100k plaque!
That’s going to be part of the subscription community. Check it out.
I miss seeing new videos from you. I know you’re busy, but your videos were a huge inspiration for me learning how to trim my own beard. I hope if I ever go on vacation to Canada, it’ll be somewhere near your shop so I can stop in for a trim by you.
Dude the intro is so funny. I 100% understand the issue with food!
It’s the worst 😂
This is exactly the style I’m going for at the moment! Great timing and great content, as always!
Thanks for watching!
what perfect timing again. You saved my beard months ago and now that my beard game has improved you show up with another video right when I need a trim
Thanks to Matty my beard is now fresh clean and my lady loves it..I'm not only a fan but I'm also a Subscriber 🧔
Thank you David!!!
TYVM Matty, you are the best!
mister matt you make beard life better. thank you sir.
Watched most of your videos, always went for the square full beard in the past, apparently brogue was a better option! Thanks a lot!
I’m glad it helped!!!
Thank you so much Matty! God bless 🙏🏻
This is my absolute favorite style that I hope to achieve someday! Thnx for the tutorial 👍 My beard and mustache is currently only a month in, & I have patchy cheeks. I hope it works out 🙏
Love the tutorials, very useful. For the back sideburns line, I have a 3 panel mirror which you can bring the left and right panels in to an angle. Very practical for symmetry.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
So stoked for new content
I kind of stopped trimming but still value these videos and the comfy factor is unprecedented. If and when overgrowth from chin hair that typically grows faster becomes too noticeable I will now be ready!
Great video as always bro and awesome beard style! Can't wait to hear what you're working on next!
Coming soon!
Thanks Matty!!!
These tutorials help keep us looking sharp between appointments. Never crossed my mind that your trying to take away from anyones livelihood.
You SHARE your knowledge and expertise, and it is Very Helpful & Generous.
Thank You
Lee
I love your channel. This is the week 2
I never had beard in my life
Im very excited snd I decided to keep on going. I’m fan of your work
Thanks for watching!
Just started growing a beard, these videos have been great.
Thank you Sir. Just started growing my beard, month and a half in and not trimming till the first of the year. Getting great ideas from watching your videos. Keep up the good work and congrats on the RUclips plaque.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad its helpful
I used your tutorial and my wife actually likes it. Thanks for posting!
That’s awesome to hear!!!
Another banger. Thanks Matty! Love the nerd stuff.
Look very sharp indeed and the name The Brogue, is so fitting. 👏👏👏👏
Love the vid and your simple directions. I would also love a eyebrow clean up tutorial! I struggle with that and I’m sure many others do too.
Thanks brother for sharing this video, really helped 👍🏻
What type of blow dryer is that? I like that one.
Love the videos. You were the first I watched when I decided to grow a beard. Keep them coming. You are one of the best.
This was exactly what I needed and exactly when I needed it! Thank you, this was clutch. My wife appreciates it even more!
Matty you're a legend. Thank you for your content, it is much appreciated 👍
Sweet! When will the kits be in stock? I need to buy my bros some Christmas presents.
It's interesting watching your techniques and seeing things I've learned how to do myself over the last 25 years of having a beard. It's feels very validating, thanks!
Well done! Glad to know I’m in good company
I love your videos and sense of humor. About a week ago I trimmed my big beard down to a nice ducktail using your Kratos tutorials…scary, but worked perfectly and turned out great thanks to you! 👍🏻
That is awesome! Glad to hear I could help.
Yeees!!! Same about a year or so ago lol the duck tail or dove tail watever it’s called is my fave beard style
Long waited for this one! Great d.i.y version, I was working with your previews brogue video with adjustments to make it my self, happy with the results, sure I'll get better with this version!
Love your content. Down to earth and honest. Respect
I been growing my beard for over 2 years and been watching your videos for a while now and learned a few tips from you thanks for putting these videos out and keep them coming THANKS Matty 😉👌
When you start trimming down the sides, should you first start with gaurds until your comfortable controlling the clippers before doing free hand?
This personally for me has been the best tutorial yet. I like to shorten my beard in the run up to Xmas as a reset and have fancied something like this , and now I have something like this . Took the beard a little shorter to accentuate the handlebar and I’m well impressed with the results. I usually have a rounder bottom to my beard but the sharper line feels very fresh .
That’s awesome graham!!! Send us a before and after pic!
@@mattyconradgroomingno before pic lol but I’ll do the after , where am I uploading it to?
Thanks for the videos mate! Inspired me to soldier on with growing mine. All the best from Scotland!
Excellent tips here brother! Congrats on your award. Keep up the awesome work
Best beard care channel out there
Love this channel!!!!! Prolly my favorite non music channel ever!!!
Glad you enjoy it! Huge compliment
Very motivation video the main part of this video is mustache trimming I trimmed all my mustache every time it not like you ❤❤❤
Been a minute! Happy to see new content.
I literally just cut my handle bars off and blended them. Was rocking a brogue for 6 months! Happy Holidays! 🤙🏼Aloha!
RIP white tee 😅
Congratulations Matty! 💯🏆
This video has been replayed every time I do my beard! Just a question, can you do a video as to how to trim the moustache only? Can’t get it to settle properly, and in the UK we still don’t have your products, looking forward to that! Thank you for your effort
love your content
Thank you sir!
Brogue has the word Bro' right in it. Great video. Thanks.
This is the video I've been waiting for.
My barber is very good at what he does and always makes my beard look incredible. He just can't get his head around the fact that I want a handlebar moustache, and he always cuts it short.
Now, it looks good, but its not what I want, so I've been trying to get better at doing it myself.
Thanks Matty.
Great video I much appreciate the various technics for grooming and shaping the beard and mustache thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It became my go-to beard trim. Thank you so much for this video, I use it every time I trim. Only down side is the wife is against the bigger moustache 🤷🏻♂️
Always love your videos. Learn a lot for sure. I really do hope once your trimmers and clippers are ready that you ship to England
Damn, Matty, you make it look so easy 😅 I have a similar facial hair texture to yours so thanks for the tutorial. It is very helpful.
Really welcome ❤ your videos have help me very much.
Excellent video! learned something new today.🧔
I truly enjoy your videos. Please keep the content coming!!
Hey Matty! Stellar content as always! I have a full beard and I always use your techniques to maintain it. Question that I hope you answer in the next tutorial: I have a wide cheekbone squared shape and I like my beard to stay within the boundaries of the face, aka vertical along the sides, without fading or tapering or taking much out. Plus I like to keep the shelf parallel to my jaw and have the overall shape to be something like a ducktailm (soft point or round towards the bottom). Could you show us a tutorial on how to do that? Thanks!
ALso for the white shirt- dish soap + baking soda + lemon juice. Brush with a toothbrush, wash it off and you're sorted.
Discovered your videos on GQ and followed you here. I've been putting together a beard & moustache kit including your Victory Wash which should be arriving today. I ordered it from Amazon which I hope still benefits you. I really enjoy the pace and tone of your videos and the repition of the techniques you use for shaping the moustache peak and such between videos really helps in showing how it's done.
Thanks for your work. I hope to have a far superior trim of beard, moustache and hair in the coming weeks after watching your contant here on RUclips.
P.S. Congrats on your 100K award!
Thanks for the support! Order it off my website and you can get 15% percent off using the code in the description!
Okay, will order it from your site moving forward. Just tried the wash and love it so far. Anticipate being a new customer. Will make my hirsute friends aware as well. Cheers!
@Mattyconrad I have an idea for the trimmer, what about a turning head so when you have to outline the sideburns you dont need to twist your hand to position the trimmer. It will make it easy to maneuver if your hand is in "natural" position and going downwards will be easier.
Great video man. Ive had mine for a few months and i love it! Camera is decent, but its fine.
Hey Matty can you do a video on trimming out and defining a transparency trim for longer beards? Thanks
A transparency trim? You mean how to make it look thicker at the bottom?
@@mattyconradgrooming Yes
Matty thank you so much for this incredibly helpful video. I followed along and even though the freehand shaping is going to need some practice, I finally have a beard style to be proud of. Since I'm never in Vancouver to kick you some business (and you're probably booked all the time anyways), I went on Amazon and bought a ton of Victory products to show some support (which are also banging, by the way).
Thank you so much!!!! Just so you know you can get it cheaper from my website www.victorybarber.com. Use the code RUclips15 for a discount!
That’s awesome, thanks man!@@mattyconradgrooming
Hey Matty. Congratulations on the YT plaque. You deserve is. Running low on hair tonic so I'll be sure to put an order in since it's been a while. Congrats again!
Thank you sir!
What would be your recommendations regarding best way to shave one's own head? Electric, multiblade disposable, etc...skin care. When you shave clients heads, do you straight razor or electric or something else?
Could you do a video on how you deal with fades or very short trims on contrasting skin and beard colour and how you trim that differently than lets say a blond white guy?
A great cut! Any advice for people with curly beards?
Excellent video
Can you do a video on styles for patchy beards
I love the intro. My dad wasn't around to teach me how to shave. I also have friends who are transitioning, imagine the hell it must be for them starting completely from scratch.
I can’t even imagine 🤦🏻♂️
7:08 my experience is that when the beard is washed and blowdried, it sits differently. When it is shaved like that, it doesnt loom well after I wash and don't blowdry it. 😢
Don’t be so aggressive with the blow dry. Try and just get it to sit in a nice natural full shape. Don’t straighten it too much.
great tutorial, as always. TY
Like your video's. Very helpful!
I did not know what that style was called, thanks. My beard has kinda naturally been growing in this shape for years
Hey Matty, thanks. Your videos are very helpful. I have already started trimming my own beard and it comes out great everytime.
Can you also do a video on how to trim your own hair. I have done my hair before and it was good, but learning how to do it properly from you will certainly make trimming my own hair a much easier and pleasant experience.
Cheers.
Hi there I’ve asked before but are there any plans to ship your products to the UK 🙏 love your content
Love that style really want it.Are your products available in England.
my beard is relatively short (under an inch) and doesn't grow as full as yours but this is still entertaining to watch.
Could you do a video focused more on curly beards? I have curly hair so my beard hair doesn't act like yours which makes trimming and getting it to lay down and look good much more difficult. Thank you!
I’ll try to find a decent model for that:
Congrats on 100k
Hey Matty! I've been watching your videos for a long time! I just recently moved from Victoria BC to Winnipeg and I specifically told myself that I can't move without stopping by Victory first (Which never ended up happening) and see if I could get a picture or autograph.
I will be following this video next weekend and give my long beard a much needed trim. Is there a place I can send before and after photos? Keep up the awesome content dood!
Wow it’s so cool!
congrats on all the success and the 100k subs bud. Love the style of content.
thanks brother! I appreciate you!
Your content is great
Thank you for the hard work in the video and clear precise steps! Very helpful. I'd like to ask (sorry if already mentioned in comments) - How long did you grow your beard before this video, to be full and bushy like we see it? Thanks! (first time beard grower here, on my 5th week hehe)
Matty! Picked up some Super-Dry today and it did not disappoint!
Couldn't help but notice the Seiko Watch! Do ya collect watches too?
Thanks so much!!!! I appreciate the support. And no I don’t unfortunately I just have this one!
Good job 💪💪
Hey Matty, I saw and did your survey. I hope to see a true beard trimming kit from you one day.
Nice he is back. Any word on the bread trimmer and clipper?
Not yet! It’s been a bit more complicated than I thought.
Awesome-you earned a subscriber
love your channel and style
Thanks so much!
Hey! Is it possible to “grow out” a brogue, or does it need to start with a full bushy beard?
If growing out from a beardstache, do you have any recommendations for how to handle that awkward in-between stage, particularly the hairs just above the lip (trimmed at the lip line for a beardstache, but left long and combed to the sides for a brogue)?
Thanks!
What kind of product do you use for maintain the hairstyle?
I’m going for this one! I wanted to ask. Any advice for balding on top of my head? I love your hair and I’m 39 and now have a visible thinning going on😢
Do you still have the same beer and coffee issues once the mustache is properly styled? I've been trying a wax (fairly hard) without a hairdryer and I find it doesn't hold well enough. Coffee is possible, but no milk foam... maybe I need to give the hairdryer a chance.
The video starts at 6:15
For the clipper guards, can you tell me what millimeters (mm) those guards are? example #3 guard. Thank you
I have a question is it possible to wear this style with out duck tailing the beard?
Great as usual
Thanks again!
Loved it ❤
How 'bout a video of where the mustache ends and where the beard begins. I have a lot of hair at the end of my mouth, making my mustache extend well bellow my bottom lip. Looking for suggestions. Thx
Good idea!
I would love a full clean shaven to mountain man beard journey. This could include what products to use for every step of the way and how to trim to maintain. I’m growing a beard for the first time and would appreciate knowing when to use certain products like beard oil.
Noted!
I’ve been growing by beard for last year, and going to for another year. Will you do a video showing how to maintain a LONG beard.
Excellent idea
Ya know I think the next time I grow out my beard, I will give the Brogue a shot!
