Another useful and informative video Chris well done
Glad you like it 👍
Carving clouds is really hard yours turned out great thanks
Thank you. I think you could definitely go down a rabbit hole and start putting too much detail in!
❤
🥰
Always love a good carving video. Apparently the type of masking tape matters when using it with superglue, as I now have multiple rolls of tape that the glue won't set on. I also don't use accelerator, although I never used it with the other tape and it still worked fine.
I know what you mean, but the accelerator works with any of the tapes 👍
What-ho, Chris! Loving the build and its progress. What thoughts have you for hardware? Specifically the bridge, as you need a fair bit of travel to get a Bass VI to intonate well.
Hi, that’s interesting. Currently the customer has specified a tune-o-matic LP style. Will this work in your opinion?
I usually use the super glue bottle itself to burnish the tape... I don't think there's a scientific or engineering reason... it's just what happens to me in my hand at the time!
I suspect I’m just lazy. Hence glue spreader finger!
Man, for someone talking about safety all the time, it’s not a good look to lick your wound before putting a band-aid on 😂 Your mouth is the nastiest thing around, even in a dirty workshop. Might as well rub it in some dirt, while you’re at it 😅 Just take some cloth next time to stop the bleeding, way better than spitting germs into an open wound! 🩸
🤣
