I’m 66 & got into tarantulas about a year ago. Now I have 13 female stunners !! Last week I got 5 Blue Death Feigning Beetles. This is big, US invertebrate LLC has 4 generation of captive breeding BDFB project going on. 😳 I may be a newbie but I have studied like their is no tomorrow !! 😊
Love it! Yeah, I know there are a COUPLE vendors out there who are working on it but most people are selling them wild caught - I will have to check them out if theyve been successful for four generations, that is awesome!
Tut, tut, very disappointed J 😆Where are the mantis?! The BEST arthropod of all! I agree with the death feigner and yes, I also have the millipede, awesome pets
Well, you may notice its best STARTER Arthropods. They might make an appearance in a Best Intermediate Owner Arthropods :p. I wanted stuff you'd be hard to kill not dies because the weather changes. 🤣😂🤣
Great list! Love top 5/10 lists! I don't have hissers but I have other roaches that are super hardy and pretty fun. I have variants of everything on this list and they're all fabulous pets. Keep up the good work! 👍👍
My first spider pet was an A. geniculata, and then I found out about the jumper spider craze 😅 now 7 tarantulas later I finally have my first two jumpers 🥰 they are so precious
Yeah mine was my Curly hair, aside from dozens of wolf spiders growing up, then accidentally walked into jumping spiders and it turned out to be a huge craze haha
@@juicesarthropods I think I more so wanted to try it for the whole fairy garden decor of jumper enclosures 🤣 whenever I try and make pretty decorative enclosure for my tarantula they always rearrange everything and bury have the things I give them to make it look cute
So, what I mean is an isopod is more like a super dope decorative terrarium - yes, they're living, breathing and eat and drink, but you wouldn't own ONE isopod. You can own Hissers for instance individually or as a group, but an isopod while a totally legitimate creature to have isnt the kind of pet you're typically holding, and mostly they're more like ants - more of a colony than an individual. So no judgement against people with isopods, I have hundreds of thousands of them, but you won't get the same "pet" sensation as you will from say a jumping spider, or a Millipede.

They have a Facebook & are happy to answer questions. They haven’t started to sell their captive breeding beetles yet, but they are getting closer 🎉🎉

You've lost us at the "no colony-only" part! Each their own, I guess...
We very much agree with the number one of the list, though!
🤣 Dont worry, Isopods will get their own video some day - but I had to have guidelines, because there are SUPER cool colony arthropods.
Can I ask what you mean by "isopods are not pets"? :)

Love that “roach propaganda” XD in all seriousness, I own some hissers and I love them, they are great pets :)
🤣 Right!? They are SUCH amazing pets!
