    Perfect. I always thought i just needed a new condensor.come to find out its the blend door. When i used to stop at a light she would warm up drastically. Come to find out if i adjust the temp then back to cold irmt seals itself back into recurculate mode. (Max air) . I Still wna replace it eventually, now i can. Thanks

    You might want to add a few keywords to this one, in the title and video description and tags, like "Honda Civic", etc, so Google will have a handle on what you're showing. Click the tab for channel content, then click 'details', click "show more", and you can change all that. It's humbling to realize that the vast majority of views come from search engines like Google, and they rely on a word search to find the info people are looking for. So the more words that line up with your target audience the easier it will be to find. This kind of specific info you're showing is really valuable for people with the exact car. If enough people watch for more than a couple of minutes, you end up in the first page of the search engine, and view counts go way up.

      @@AutoRepairTips757 Pete, you've got an excellent channel, it deserves far more views than it has so far. When you make a new title, think about what an average nonmechanic would type into the search engine. He won't know what a mode actuator or even a blower motor is, but he will be looking for something like "how to fix car air vent" or something like that. One of the biggest surprises I found was that what I think are my best videos consistently get the fewest views. You just have to shrug and know that you do it for reasons other than becoming popular, ha ha.

      I will make some changes to that video and hopefully get some better results, I’m hoping to turn this into some retirement income. When I hit 20 thousand subs I’m going to start a podcast, I have already started making a studio in my house.

    It's all about what tools you have. I replaced mine today, had stubby Philips screw driver and 1/4" drive racket with a 7mm socket. I have big hands so reaching in is not easy. Cut off one of the tabs on the top of the motor for easier to the top screw, that was a game changer. Had to go under the dash to get better access to put in the bottom 2 screws wasn't easy but do able. I took apart the old one cleaned the contact points which is on the back of the biggest gear, it was nasty with grease and dirt and it started working again. Put in the new one because I didn't trust the old one.

    Does the door have to be in a certain position when you install? My cars stuck on blowing towards me . when I put mine on it moves when I plug it in and turn the car on but then it stops and when I change buttons nothing happens still stuck

    so my car only blows hot air and in another video that i watched the guy said to turn your temp nob from hot to cold and if the actuator doesnt move then its bad. but my thing is, is this the actuator hes talking about or is does this one only control where the air blows? because when i hit one of the buttons to change where the air goes then the actuator moves, just not when i change the temp.

    • @AutoRepairTips757
      @AutoRepairTips757  2 месяца назад

      A lot of cars have three actuators one is for hot and cold, one is for the air temp, and one is for recycling and fresh air. So depending on what problems you have with depending on what actuator is bad.
