I was so excited for the game and love the trailer (the game too). I wish they'd kept the scene in Rome from the end of this gameplay, then inserted the path from the point of Ezio getting shot until he gets his medicine after some playing. That ending scene here was epic.
AC and AC2 are the best games I have ever played, and I seriously look forward to this continuous chapter. Sadly I have to wait until November. Ubi has really done an excellent job!

Looks like they learnt some lessons from Uncharted 2 with smooth transition from cut scene to gameplay. Also looks like its actually playable on PS3 for once.

they dident mention if the problems with counters is fixed, in assassins creed 2, u could just block the whole time and counter everyone, and disarm spearman and brutes, because its so easy to counter, also if u had skill, u could quickstep being them when they atk and get a finish into there back.
@RandomDude372 Have you played the game before? The beginning is a cutscene, then you take minor control of the horse to steer around falling objects, then it goes back in to a cutscene.
One thing that would have a major improvement in the gameplay is balance... In 1 and 2, you just jump and grab ledges from anywhere, run on ropes like it's nothing... I guess it will be the same in this game... That is the main thing missing...
this game is from 2010 the last year revelations (continuation of this game) came out and this year the ASC III will came out, i think you have to buy it it's gonna be wonderfull :D! (forgive my english)
I enjoyed Assassins Creed 2 immensly, and had doubts about brotherhood being able to compete with its awsomness. But that new idea is increddible. Im eagerly waiting for a chance to play it.
@davyx1 Well first of all, that was done to stun him. The killing strike was with the sword/gun/axe. Secondly, if the HEAD is to kneed, does the armor plate really matter?
@Dudenameddon i guess but the way that all the past AC's have been made i think it would be a cool new mix. Like a sniper mission in Manhattan when you have to pick a building which is in line of your target and assassinate some one and then the escape. That would be sick.
i think this game is really cool! im going to get it as soon as it comes out. but i think that they still should have improved the climbing and leaping mechaniques. because it still looks a bit robotic. other than that the combat, the horse, and everything else is perfect. they just need to make the climb and leap more realistic.
@i0wnjou Mario had possession if the apple in the demo but he obviously was caught and killed. So now Cesare Borgia has it. Not sure about the staff but fuck knows we'll find out.

@nslamer when they announced it they said that they were going to be using Ezio, and its probably some thing to wet your appetite until AC3

@noahg2001 i think it was a bit earlier than that...gunpowder was invented in the 1000s-1100s.

You can't expect a graphics upgrade in a 2.5 game. Assassin's Creed III will probably have some upgrades, although they're awesome already..

this E3 Gameplay was better than this year's ACR gameplay.
the guy was like "we've made the AI much more aggressive" and ezio kills a dozen in a matter of seconds
