I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional
I completely agree; I am 60 years old, recently retired, and have approximately $1,250,000 in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!
@@mikegarvey17As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. What are some strategies i can employ to be successful?
The name of my investment advisor is *Camille Alicia Garcia* . She is a true genius when it comes to diversified portfolios, which make portfolios less susceptible to market downturns, and has a strong reputation in her area. You may already be familiar with her name; a Newsweek article gave me the information I needed. She is someone you could Google.
Those are pretty low div payers but have some capitol growth. I love TSLY, i am getting a 6040 div for July but true the div will be all over the map each month!
Dividends are what got me into investing in the stock market. The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. Have over $600K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further.
As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. it's unnerving to see your portfolio go from green to red but as mentioned if you have invested in quality names just have to keep adding to them and stay the course.
the idea of a coach might sound generic or controversial to a few, but a new study found that demand far portfolio coaches skyrocketed by over 41.8% since the pandemic and based on firsthand encounter, I can say for certain their skillsets are top notch, I've raised over $500k from an initially stagnant reserve of $140K all within
@@Dantursi1 my 401k growth has been stagnant since the 2019. I wouldn't mind consulting the advisor who guides you, I really want to grow my retirement fund since I could retire in 3 years.
My financial advisor is “Vivian Carol Gioia” I found her on an interview where she was featured Afterwards I reached out to her on her webpage. she has since then provided me with entry and exit points in securities I focus on.
I just looked her up on the internet and found her webpage with her credentials. I wrote her outlining my financial objectives and planned a call with her.
@@DungNguyen-vn3euthey’re ETF’s, you saying you looked up every company in each ETF and they all have poor 5 year outlooks? ETFs are designed expecting some companies to do better than others and limit volatility compared to owning single companies. Not sure I follow your thought process.
All these stocks over 5 years has probably incrased 40% max. Rather have just invested in appl, goog, amazn etc...would have doubled or tripled your money
While that is very true, many already retired people don't care as much about that growth as they are about income levels to afford daily lives. A mix of both would be good as well.
