There are many different strength and conditioning programs out there......instead of critiquing, lets just respect and support hard work.....this IS hard work

His name is Desmond Wilford. One of the best in the business. He's worked with multiple NBA players. You're not training hard if you are not working with Desmond!

not true, lifting heavy does not make someone go through physiological adaptations that lifting with more reps. For example, on the squat In the 1-3 rep range is ideal for a basketball player's vertical jump and ability to overcome inertia.

yh these type of drills develop explosive power and strength. If he lifts heavy hes gonna lose his speed and quickness ??

but i know(i think) that to streghten muscles you must do high weights and less repeats!

Of course. Why wouldn't a collegiate basketball player be doing olympic lifts or unilateral work? He doesn't need to jump, put his fut in the ground and cut, or be strong on one leg. I know what he DOES need though...Biceps!

dude is an ectomorph. he'd have to eat 5000 calories a day to be on a routine like that or he'd just be eating his own body.
