Back in the day in 2014 I actually got an apartment from Craigslist. I mean I went to a viewing for it in person FIRST but sometimes it can lead to legit things you just have to do research into the company and photos for Oahu specifically because there is so many scams out there. The curtains were probably because that place has an HOA I was rooting for the two bathrooms and outdoor space in apartment #4 but the one you ended up with i loved the bathroom too!! Looks very easy to clean

I used to work in apartment property management for nearly a decade and with the white curtain thing I think they mean just the backing of the curtain has to be white - so like if you see it from the outside it looks white. You can most likely have two layers of curtains, have white facing the window and then have your own curtains facing the inside.
I’m so happy for y’all!! You have me scared with the minimal or no AC thing. My husband and I are from Texas where it’s super hot outside, but freezing inside every home or restaurant or wherever. We moved to Japan almost 1 year ago with the military. Wow.. Asia doesn’t do AC.. we hate it. And Hawaii is so similar to Asia, and we’re possibly moving there next! I miss the days when I could grocery shop or eat in a restaurant and not be dripping sweat to the floor and my clothes not being wet. Every time you gave an update on an apartment, I would text my husband 😹
Omg we just moved in today…. It is an ADJUSTMENT. Idk how I’m gonna sleep tonight hahaha but this was a randomly scorching day, hopefully it’ll be cooler the rest of the year 😎 Japan sounds so cool!!!! But also hot ahhahaha
