Commenting at the beginning (just in case this comes up later on in the video lol), but it would also be fun to use a d20 and you could use it like if you do nat20, you read only as much as you feel like; but if you do roll 1, you do a 24hr reading marathon. And the rest of the numbers would just be number rolled = hour read 😂

I never read much after work. In fact, most of the time I'd be so tired I fall asleep on the subway and sometimes slump onto the poor passenger in the next seat [such is life]. However, before work on the bus I'd always read, read, read. That's the way I finished Don Quixote (so funny), Naked Lunch (so weird!) and War and Peace. Also I'd read during lunch hour. There was this nurse who always came in to the lunch room while I was reading W&P. It was a distraction but as I said I finished it anyway. To be honest now, 45 years later, maybe that wasn't the best choice? idk

tfc is definitely a very set up book that yes you are so right you read the whole series and then you look back on the first one with nostalgia when you read it again. evrything is about to get sooo much messier and more intense yay hope you enjoy the raven king hehehehehh (although there is some super intense stuff so idk if you have any triggers but if so pls check the warning<3) also the stadium is like indoors and in like a glass box kinda like squash or like ice hockey i guess but also with a ceiling bc they chuck the ball in the air too. neil's hs team played outside bc exy wasn't popular enough there to have its proper stadium (expensive) so they just played on the outside football pitch. also it's obviously played by a lot of people and has a following but it's still kind of fairly niche and new ish (like est 20-30 years ago ). also i feel like this is sooo a series where you like need to run to tumblr after finishing and just read everybody going crazy and all the in depth shit about neil's character and the dynamics between everybody and ahhh it's just so good ok like. ps i don't want to spoil but you are wrong about the li and i don't want you to be disappointed it's not him ahah but the actual romance is so good sooo eeeee also you can definitely find lots of neil/kevin content for sure bc they do have a very interesting relationship and history and yeah anyway i'll stop but i do think you'll have fun at least with the next two books :)

I read and loved A Deadly Education last year, immediately picked up the sequel from the library, and then just never read it. It's rare that I enjoy a YA to begin with, so I'm just worried that the rest of the series won't be as good for me and will make me feel less fond of the first book 😭 But maybe one day I'll just get both books from the library and read them in a single weekend because I am really curious now haha
