  • Here is my favorite unpasteurized organic sauerkraut recipe. Most vegetables can be fermented using this method and it's simple and fun to make. It's one of my favorite recipes to heal the gut and strengthen the immune system. I almost always bring cultured vegetables camping since they can survive a short period of time without refrigeration and my gut sometimes needs support during times of travel and ''outhouses'' 😕. Remember to keep an eye out during the fermentation process. Keep the cabbage under the liquid. Keep it in a warm dark place for 7-10 days and remember if it smells like fermenting cabbage in the house...it's working!!!
