You seems absolute beginner and total confused. Nothing is best and nothing is worst in Linux world. You have to try yourself and distro hop for some time and you will understand yourself which distro suits you. I personally prefer to install Linux Mint as you seems to be a beginner.
IF you are a beginner you can go with either vanilla GNOME or KDE Plasma 6 based Distros. Suggested list: Ubuntu Fedora Zorin OS KUBUNTU Linux MInt (if you dont care about modern looks choose cinnamon)

ubuntu is highly customizable. POP OS Comes with preinstalled drivers mostly. For example if you have NVIDIA GPU On your computer, they offer NVIDIA ISO that has the drivers preinstalled, and same goes for Intel Or AMD users.

I included that part , because if you haven't setup flatpak and try to theme flatpak applications it will throw an error. So it's better to install flatpak whether use it or not.
@@kskroyaltech The value of the Apple ecosystem is the interoperability of the devices. No matter how much you pretty-up the looks, the interoperability isn't there with other Apple devices. And frankly, I think GNOME is a much more modern and user centric desktop than OSX or whatever it's called now. I love the customizability of the Linux desktops, as opposed to the "my way or the highway" attitude of the Apple environments.
Stock GNOME looks so much better than what Ubuntu does lol. But they should totally add a panel option. Not that Ubuntu crap, a real dash-to-panel with everyhing

Instead of using Fractional scaling, Do one thing, go to accessibility -> seeing and enable LARGE text.
force apps that can do so to run in xwayland, otherwise there is no solution to this, only workarounds.

The mac os icon of close, minimize, and maximize buttons only works in firefox and terminal. It doesn't work anywhere else :

The side bar cannot be customized ,, you can only change the size. Try checking the options

Some GTK4 based apps wont be themed properly. install Edge through flatpak instead of installing as a deb package
