Logikure well, that’s kinda hard to say and compare, they’re two very different guitarists. Mark is definitely a rock/metal guitarist while Myles is more so a blues player. Like comparing Steve Vai to BB King, two very different play styles yet great in their own right.

Trust me man, I love Mark, but live he's probably the worst on keeping the tempo. I'll give you a couple of examples, listen to "ties that bind" & "brand new start" the album version, and after each, immediately listen to the live version.
I am not denying that. I am saying in the majority of songs that start with Mark playing some sort of guitar licks on his own, he always plays it a lot faster than he should, at least 10bpm. Then the drums n vocal and bass have to follow whatever tempo he's playing in. Have a listen to their live videos. Yes drummers tend to make it a tiny bit faster, but in the case of alter bridge Mark starts of songs faster than Flip would
From their live song I guess you could say it's sort of a 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other thing with them, but it's just that i've noticed Flip going way too fast on practically every song, that's all, but all good.
