    i would really like the recipe for the german whole grain SD. i’ve been baking for years including whole grain but i coulnt do this bread without your recipe

    Schöne Brote! Das Olivenölbrot muss ich mal probieren. Aber da wir jetzt Herbst haben, vielleicht einen Zwiebelkuchen backen (und auch den Federweißwein nicht vergessen)... 🙂 Oder Krautkrapfen geht auch... mmmhmmm 🙂

    Anja, You are a true Baking Artist. I made a copy of your Olive Oil Sourdough Bread. Will be
    trying it soon. I LOVE your 'Family German Style Grain Bread". Could you give approximate
    measurements. Rye Flour. Water. SDS Salt ....(You just made in this video). Such a GRAND
    Healthy Recipe...I would treasure. Thank you again

    Hi Anja, Wow! I love your videos. I am Canadian who has a German ancestry, ofI am proud of and loved the tastes and smells of all the recipes my grandmother and mother made. I am so glad I found your way of making sourdough starter with no waste (what a breathe of fresh air). I disliked discarding and was the reason I didn't continue with the sourdough baking. I have begun a starter and its looking good so far. I speak good things to it as you've suggested :). I will give your recipes a "Go"! Thank you for your good example in the kitchen - Love it!

    Thanks again for sharing, Anja. I don't have a Dutch oven. Can I use a Pyrex bowl and lid in a preheated oven? Thanks.

      I haven't tried using those. If you are letting your bread rise in a proofing basket, I recommend baking it in a cast iron combo cooker. The initial steam ensures a good oven spring. Then you’ll want to remove the lid for a nice crispy crust.

    Hallo Anja! Kind of a silly question here, can I use a rye starter to make a white wheat bread? My rye starter is nice an bubbly and I would like to use it in a white artisan bread, is that doable? Thanks and greetings from Greece.

    Thank you Anja, I can’t wait to try these inspiring recipes 🥰. Unfortunately I have to start my starter from scratch every fall (which is not ideal), because we live in our camper all summer and it’s not conducive to baking bread. Just waiting for my starter to get active.

    I followed your instructions to the olive oil bread to the letter! My starter looked similar to yours and is well established! I refrigerated the dough for 24 hours in all that time it only rose approx 25%😦. Please tell me what I should do? My instinct is to put it in a warm place and see if it will rise!

    Hi im loving all your videos, im just starting to bake with sourdough can i just ask what flour your using for the olive oil sourdough bread please . Ive used white and whole meal and sometimes works but im just wondering if the flour makes a difference

    I love your English muffin recipe. But I have a question, how do you stop the muffins from shrinking after you cut the circles. They act like pizza doughy when it won’t stay rolled out. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop them? Thanks Anja I love watching your videos I always learn something new.

    What is that stand you have your starter sitting on? Does it keep it warm? I’m on my second try making starter. Our house is keep so cool and my starter does not ferment🥴 does that stand keep yours warm so it can ferment? I am so frustrated-

      Do you have an oven? If so, you can turn it on low for a little then turn it off and stick your dough in there to ferment.
