it is very funny that the day americans found out their empire built on suffering and fascism isn't safe has become a joke while they spent last 24 years responding with unending bloodshed and violence.
Holding a marriage in the barracks means people don't need to travel to get there. Important in a colony full of psychos one inconvenience away from snapping and gunning everyone down
Interesting note about uranium being used as a building material; in the lore of rimworld, humans are significantly more radiation resistant on average then they are right now on earth. Likely a small adaptation to the immense amount of time it takes to travel through space, which has loads of dangerous radiation.
I mean, as long as you don't consume it, no naturally occurring Uranium is radioactive to pose a noticeable health effect, and even if you consume it, it's a 100 times more dangerous as a heavy metal than as a radioactive source.
@@thehollidayexperience Is it? Most crafting recipes that use Uranium do use it as a power source, including the Cryptosleep Cascets, the Spaceship reactor, or Marine armor. I was also going to include the Nuclear Stomach from the Royalty DLC in that list. But apparently despite being a litteral nuclear reactor you install in your body, it does not take Uranium to craft.
@@theukon-dos7271 The uranium in these recipes is probably for shielding purposes as all of those recipes are spacer level tech and the biggest difference between it and industrial is the use of fusion power in the former and fission in the latter.
Congratulations! You have come to the same conclusion as every successful war leader including Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Shaka Zulu and Mao Zedong: supply your forces using resources that are already there.
oh god, legendary weapons and the absolute acid trip descriptions of 'representations' of colony events begin. Rimworld really is just sci fi dwarf fortress! pray to Armok you don't get the recursive screaming legendary item, because then you're REALLY screwed.
Watching this I got the idea to make a colony that focuses on nothing but making the colonists as happy as possible. Rimworld would be nothing without the little bean people.
New sort-of parasitic strategy is interesting, in that (if I'm understanding right) it'll result in a sort of constricting ring of dominance, as the farthest outposts are cleared of enemies, then because there are no more far-out areas that need clearing, the next "layer" of them will be cleared, on and on until the soldiers are just launching from the original colony. (You know, I gotta say, I really thought the specific rule of "Goose only has to be *alive* by the end of the run, but he's allowed to die" would come into play...)
I was dissappointed that there was no world domination travel cheese last episode so this was a delight! Really enjoying the transition to late game fortifications and raid team
An army marches on its stomach. Your pawns have become so OP that they're effectively able to go without modern supply chains and return to pre-industrial war tactics of living off the land. Mongol horde tactics reaving through the landscape faster than they can run out of towns to burn.
I reccomend the mod "quality builder" for training construction, since it configures items to auto deconstruct if they aren't at or above your desired quality.
For remote base management, since usually it's only a single pawn that shows up, consider putting up a couple turrets with some dead conduit for them to connect to, then switch them on remotely by switching which conduit they're attached to whenever a raid arrives.
Yoooo, double upload! Edit: it seems I’ve rolled a crafter, if the pawn named “Ethan” does happen to be me. I guess instead of being the character that is my profile picture, it’s decided to be me. I’m more than happy with this, and if it happens to instead be an entirely different member whose name is just “Ethan”, that’s also really funny
What word did you say at 10:09? I parsed it as ‘majierre”, which doesn't seem to be a word as of 2024, and RUclips's autogenned closed captioning doesn't seem to parse it into anything at all.
I only just now got why you specifically call out turning Kalaside into a spider. They're a crafter. You are comparing them to Arachne. I feel very silly for not having gotten the joke before
We have psychic casters, custom races tailor-made for destruction, and ideology to potentially add into this mix some day. Nevermind the infinite number of mods to show off for a run. You only go too far in rimworld by crashing to desktop.
A SECOND VIDEO HAS HIT THE CHANNEL!!!
THEY HIT THE PENTAGON LYLE
LYLE LYLE TURN ON THE TV

Because of all the statues it might be the most beautiful place in the colony.
@@danmerillat That's most likely the actual answer
Im glad to be a Battle Janitor. Just give me a Mob and let me at them. "Them" being both enemies and the bloodstains that are left afterwards 😂
😂😂😂

It's depleted anyway so unless your colonists are eats chunks of the walls there's no danger from the alpha emitted

Depth first search, post order traversal on the optimization strat for using enemy bases to get to other enemy bases. Nerdy, very nice
Two goose videos back to back? We’re eating good today!
13:38 missed the perfect opportunity for “defeat the pawns” instead of “humans”
Never before had i considered the possibility of using enemy bases as waystations.
Please don't call your pawns "well lubricated" I don't want to get a noise complaint for laughing so hard
This comment is a sacrifice to Mighty Algoritmos. Keep on doing what you're doing, Goose, and I'll keep watching every video you put out.
Kalaside and Fiona are relationship goals 100%
"unlike a certain theologically significant figure, i'm willing to let that slide"

you should have put the building apprentices in a dark , cold room and make them build there so they build even slower
