Got one from eBay as well from an authorized dealer for Victorinox. Paid $170 and it is 100% authentic. Came in the same outer box and had all of the paperwork, warranty card etc. Has the serial number and model number engraved/etched on the case back, and has perfect fit and finish.
Excelente reloj! Felicitaciones!! Una pregunta. Por a veces el mismo modelo de reloj viene en cajas tan distintas? He tenido varios relojes victorinox y solo uno me llegó en la caja grande de lujo Todos los demás en la pequeña de cartón. Que opinas? Muchas Gracias! Saludos y felicitaciones
Thank you so much for sharing this content with us, I found the watch I want to buy and I also heard God speak to me through his description, a big hug from Brazil
Impact Neutralizing Object for the X-tremes. That’s what Victorinox would have you believe anyway. I’ve had a Maverick GS chrono for 8 years and it’s been put through some really tough abuse and it’s come out shiny and smiling every time. Nice heavy well built watch. Haven’t seen one of these Inox in the wild yet but if it feels like my Maverick I’ll be buying one.
It’s a real attention grabbing watch. The red seconds hand, unique bezel, and even the bracelet clasp are so interesting. I wish it was 40mm and a little thinner.
I received mine from Amazon yesterday in the same lower grade packaging. I was a bit concerned so did quite a bit of researching and I can't find out anything about the boxes. My guess is these are genuine watches and some are maybe factory seconds or overstocks that are sold off to third parties without the fancy packaging and then reboxed. After close examination of my watch compared to hi res photos and videos and also opening it up I'm 99.9% certain it's genuine. I know the Chinese can do decent copies of pretty much anything but I doubt they would go the trouble of copying the Inox down to the smallest detail such as the Ronda movement and qr codes on the caseback. There are always going to be telltale signs on a fake and in the case of my own watch there really isn't anything that's suggests this.
John m Thanks for watching and sharing your detailed thoughts from your experience. I feel the same way as you about the INOX I have. I don’t believe it is a fake. I am not so concerned about the box and these days many watches are sent without large booklets and manuals included. I’ve watched a number of other Quartz INOX videos on RUclips and don’t see any differences to mine. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
@@TheTownWatch if they are fakes, they are indistinguishable from the real thing. I find it hard to believe anyone would have gone to such extraordinary lengths to reproduce a $500 watch.
The seconds hand don't line up with the markings. For a £400 watch, this is embarrassing. I have a 30 year old Casio that lines up perfectly. Shoddy workmanship.
Greig Cahill I agree, very disappointing when this happens! I have had it happen on a number of watches unfortunately. My Citizen Nighthawk doesn’t hit the marks and I also had a Seiko that didn’t either.
I wanted to buy this watch because in my Country México it costs around 500 usd so on Amazon the price is lower but I read the comments on this video about if its real or not and now Im a bit confused.
Alejandro De America Hello and thanks for watching my video! Some have commented that I got a fake watch but I have no reason to believe this watch is fake. I have opened up the case back and visually inspected the Swiss Quartz movement. I bought this watch from EBay. If you purchase from a reputable seller you should have no issues. If you ever believe you’ve received something fake just send it back for a refund. I hope you will watch my full review of this watch on my channel as well!
It’s not fake I have the same watch , however mine stopped working and I changed the battery still no go , I’m wondering if it needs a special high powered battery ? The second hand was skipping before it stopped a sighn of a dying battery, any advice
I don’t understand why you don’t take a couple of moments to look a few things up and get situated rather than beginning a review with multiple things that you have zero background information on I’m not saying it to be rude I just would recommend that for building an initial level of showing your knowledge on the subject for a viewer like me.
This is not a "review" video but simply an unboxing and first impressions as the title states. Please find a separate full review video of this watch on my channel.
I am looking forward to comparing the INOX with the Promaster Tough. I don’t think I’ll be doing a scratch test though seeing as I don’t plan on keeping the INOX.
@@TheTownWatch already you went beyond with that promaster and that INOX at least doesn't promote the anti scratching feature like the promaster.. that was a fun video!
Inox (acier inoxydable) = not oxidize. ACIER = STEEL. In Portuguese (here in Brazil) is "aço inoxidável" (não oxida). AÇO INOXIDÁVEL = literally "steel not oxidizable". Great channel man. Congratulations!!

@@TheRealShrimplyP Automatic watches are little machines on your wrist, it absolutely blows my mind they exist and are available to the general public. Yeah the size is a little big! Thanks for watching!
There is a ladies version slightly smaller
Putting a tiny plastic quartz mechanism in a watch with so much visual ,case quality and steel
This is a good looking Victorinox. It’s a great Swiss brand. Nice review.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Looking forward to the review! I looked at the Citizen as well and curious to see how they compare.

why ?
Pronounced enox, means stainless steel in French... like Iraq, which is pronounced Eraq and not Ayraq.
