This is a FANTASTIC watch for $500. I had the quartz version and ran over it in the mud on accident... it feel out of my shirt pocket while chopping wood... didn't realize it was missing until I got in my truck... went back and found it in my tire tracks half buried... and was UNSCRATCHED... just dirty. This and the Hamilton Field Khaki are the two watches I recommend to friends/family for $500.
Mr. Rob, even for your big wrists it is looking huge, now i realize again what a wonderful thing i did by returning this watch and i have just 6,5inch wrist, by the way just an advice to Victorinox: make a reissue of this I.N.O.X. series with 40mm diameter i am the first buyer, promise!
I recently bought the INOX diver on a steel bracelet. I got it at a $250 discount from Hudson Bay Co. Loving it so much, the Mechanical is probably my next purchase.
I have been wearing mine on and off for almost a year now and mostly at work. I spend time in the field and in the lab....I can tell you that the PVD coating for scratch resistance WORKS!!!! I have no visible scratches STILL!!!! If Vicktorinox would only use a better lume, I think this would be the perfect field watch. This damn thing is BOMBPROOF.
Just when I start thinking about down sizing my collection and start with my Victorinox watches, Mr. Random Rob reviews one and suddenly I can't depart with any of them! Thanks Rob!
I owned one of the quartz versions of these for a while. They are built like a TANK! It's basically the Swiss version of an analog G-Shock. I would encourage you watch some of the Victorinox torture-testing videos they did with the watch when in development. It ultimately wasn't for me, but a very impressive timepiece.
I own a few Swiss Army/Victorinox pocket knifes and they are of amazing quality. However I don't have either of their watches. I've always been tempted to get one. After this video, it's a done deal I'm getting this one. And a sapphire crystal to boot. Love it.
VIctorinox is always underrated. But I enjoyed the ones I've had especially the Air Boss. Had a quartz Inox in green nice watch but certainly a beast on bracelet.
Cracking Watch, The next one on my 'to get list'...Well built, original design, Swiss movement, finishing is excellent, price point good, What's not to like. Thanks for Video👍
Its got a royal oak vibe. But since im not a fan of the oak, i actually like this one better (plus its a lot less expensive) but even this watch is out of my league
I collect those watches. I have four Victorinox Inox all with different color dial I wish they released dials for sale on their website for owners to Mod their watches. You either love this watch or hate. I've had Rolex Datejust from 1979, this watch is much better quality
@@michaelhargis7036 Trying to drop to a single watch collection. The INOX is a fantastic everyday watch but I found myself in a position to pick up a nice Omega Speedmaster so the INOX unfortunately has just been sitting. We can talk further if you're interested in more details!
CowboySwami the silence is deafening, nothing out there to beat this, seen dial on Macro, and it's Top top Quality. Can't wait to get one, without my wife knowing😀
@@christosswc IMHO I totally disagree because eventually the G-shock will become brittle over time like their straps. Eventually the quartz movement will burn out & become disposable. I always have G-SHOCK’s in my collection but the INOX auto has a thick sapphire crystal as opposed to gshocks mineral crystal. Stainless steel will out last resin by far & the Automatic movement can always be fixed. But the SS G-SHOCK is a different story but the movement is not fixable like seikos 7c46 movement. It may be replaced though but not paying that much money for it. 👍
Just bought this fantastic watch on the wooden bracelet. Think the Seamaster 300m is going to be collecting dust from now on?! Just can't understand the strap they build a watch that's 200m water resistant then in the other hand there's a card stating that the wooden strap should not be used in the shower etc?! Very strange! So I've ordered a Hirsch Performance Tiger Brown strap on a 22mm out width I just hope it fits though?? Great Video! Keep up the good work pal. And stay safe!
Hello Rob I just bought this Victorinox inox automatic, it should have come with an ETA 2824-2 movement of 25 jewels and what has been my surprise that it has come to me with a Selita Sw200-1 of 26 jewels (it looks engraved on the inside clock). I have reviewed the product information and it clearly states 25 jewels ETA. Is it a mistake ?. I await your response, thank you. Regards
Hello, Thanks for the review :) how did you do to change the strap ? I have the same watch and want to put the rubber strap. Which tool did you use ? Thanks
I just unboxed a quartz version of the INOX on my channel! After watching your video I think I was pronouncing "INOX" wrong! Do you know if the "I.N.O.X." stands for anything? Thanks!
Is the Rubber strap a 3rd party one or is it an official Victorinox one pal? If it's a 3rd party one what's the lug width of the rubber strap please? Is it a 22mm? Thanks!
When I think Victorinox I think edc knives. For me it is like having a watch from Spiderco. But the blue one is nice for the office in a sort of Genta esque way. A bit to big for my tastes however. 38 mm Pro master titanium tough quartz is my prefered " hiking" watch.
Marinus Antonius I think you have to look past the company, and see what quality you are getting for your money. They have hit a home run with this original watch, at a good price point. I'm personally not bothered that it's not a Seiko, Tag etc...this is a Beautiful Tank for the wrist, made by people who know their craft when it come to choosing the best steels etc.
First: Thanks for including the size comparison these last several videos. I think that's a grand idea. These are great looking watches. The "Swedish G Shock," as some have referred to them because of the supposed toughness. A little surprising they made an auto version because of that, but OK. And isn't there a chrono quartz version? There are more colorways floating around than Victorinox shows on their website, which is a shame. And smaller ("women's") versions, too. Occasionally the green quartz (for example) goes on sale at places like Creation or Joma for about $130.

I just ordered this watch , with stainless steal band.
Thanks for showing this automatic Victorinox. They make great watches and knives.
Really a nice looking looking watch if you don't want a Japanese watch.
It’s an amazing men’s watch , feels great on the wrist and a beautiful time piece.

That’s a great watch but us large wristed guys shutter when we see 21mm lugs. There just aren’t any long strap options in that width.
