Adele did decently, but it should be noted that Adele is in her 20s in these clips, while Mariah was nearing 50 in the majority of these, so it wasn't really fair.

Mariah IS better vocalist than Adele! Mariah has wider range, healthier technique, better controlled lows, more resonanting belts, awesome agility and whistle register. I love Mariah!
But Adele is definetely not a bad vocalist! She has amazing controlled vibrato, beautiful magical lows, very nice mid belts, angelic falsetto, beautiful head voice and very pleasant tone! I love Adele!

F3 - Mariah (Adele’s was very good, but Mariah had more control and deeper tone)

But I think Adele’s lows are more comfortable for her mainly because her lower vocal placement, and not thanks to her technique. I think Mariah’s lows are great mainly thanks to her great technique☺️ and that’s why I think Mariah’s lows are more controlled and better projected than Adele’s. But Adele surely IS very good in this category!‼️❤️
@@mariahcareydaydreamera2526 that doesn't make sense. Adele is phrasing and sustaining her lows with ease. Mariah is briefly singing them and occasionally leaking air. That's not good technique.
@@THEE.apples Mariah has incredibly good technique in her lows...you can’t change my mind about that. She has much more control than Adele has, she can do very difficult vocals runs in 2nd octave, her vibrato is natural and even. Adele’s lows are amazing, she has one of the best lower registers of today’s singers, but she usually lowers her larynx on notes lower than F3.

✅vocal agility - nobody is more agile than Mariah, her runs and riffs are VERY controlled and EXTREMLY fast, so complex and difficult

✅amazing musicianship, vocal creativity

✅excellent transitions between registers
✅ usinat a lot of vocal effects (growls, airy vocals)

I loved this battle a lot!!! It was pretty interesting to see these two go head to head. I think it could’ve got to A5 Adele has plenty G sharps from Hello and a couple A5s from Sweetest Devotion. We all know Mariah has the range personally would’ve liked a little more notes, but I love this video and all the content you make.
Oh God....two of my favorite female artists.....this is hard because you have one super strong vocalist and one super strong lyricist and two great voices

Actually, with the clips used I prefer Adele's head voice too. I struggled to find notes for both because Adele's head voice is a bit lower than Mariah's

Mariah during her prime was technically better than Adele. However, I feel that Adele beats Mariah in terms of low notes and head voice. But in belting (especially upper belts), Mariah beats Adele.

Lows: Both ( Adele has a deeper and more depth on lows. Adele's ease is good specially in lows. And the tone of her in lows are soo good. Mariah's tone and fluidity in lows are soo good. Its also so deep and easy for her. Idk but for me they sounded so manly in lows)
Belts: Mariah carey ( Adele's belt is basically stringer and more powerful than mariah but lacks reconance and consistency specially when C5 is now starting. Mariah's Power in 4th octave is So string and vibrato too. And resonating too. Her 5th octave is so light and had much ease. Its soft and resonating belt had just made her one of the best belter.)
Head voice: Adele (Mariah's head voice is basically her weakest register. But surprisingly her softness and sweetness of her headvoice is just stunning. But Mariah's Head voice is sometimes very weak and inconsistent. Adele's head voice is so solid! And strong. Her tone is also good. Her consistency is way better than Mariah's i think Adele's head voice was inspired by whitney or celine dion xD
