The TRI AVATAR Multi-Dimensional Chorus TA-1H will be available as of January 25, 2016.
There's a whole lot to love about Free The Tone's Tri Avatar Multi-Dimensional Chorus. It sounds amazing thanks to the three adjustable chorus phases, has MIDI and onboard control for four presets, expression control for Rate or Hi Cut and features both Dry/Wet Mix and Level controls. Nothing is left wanting here. Additionally the case is a very friendly design as far as pedalboard real estate is concerned and its mono in, stereo out, expression and MIDI jacks are top mounted. Free The Tone, a company headed up by Yuki Hayashi, are THE premier Japanese pedal manufacturer so you bet that both build and tone quality are of the very highest order.

I just got mine today 12/9/16. I am completely Blown-Away. It Sounds "Even Better" in person ( and also,on my Acoustic ). It arrived faster then expected, and was packaged very well. I have been playing-with-it, for the past 3 hours. It's Intoxicating. Yuki and the F.T.T. staff are a pleasure to do business with.
Such an Amazing Pedal. - Michael - NYC -

Brett you are a true Master in demos and an awesome player. Never stop. Peace
+Cyan Afterblood Thanks! I'm only as good as the pedal inspires me to be, though. Cheers and have a great new year. :)
+Brett Kingman Damn great pedals then! Thank you for what you do, I appreciate it.
True that! & nobody seems more kind, and down (under) to Earth lol!
The sound variation is amazing with all those controls !
That sounds amazing! And that Tele is awesome! Love your demos, Brett!
Great demo!! Can certainly hear the Aluminium body tones in this video
Wow, this sounds fantastic in the lighter settings
+Larry Bachmann Yeah, the subtler settings are my favourites too.
Pedal is bomb to the core! So many easily, and useful tweaks and the tone is whole all the way through! Just dances in stereo, very unique, yet you can dial in old school sounds easily to my ear... is this a clear Holy Grail winner with the extensive control, supreme sounding modulation, and detailed, yet quiet operation? We'd have to taste it next to a Roland Ce-1 and maybe the Empress Chorus from Redwitch or something stereo on par with to say that, but... wow! What a stellar demo, Brett!
I just got one of these and have combined it with an Empress Reverb and Echosystem. It sounds phenomenal in a wet/dry/wet kinda setup. I need a good compressor and I will have completed the Reagan-era tones.
That was a very nice demo ... thank you!
shit, this thing with that guitar is instant Cocteau Twins on Heaven or Las Vegas
Great sounding pedal. Merry Christmas to you and your family :-) Can't wait for the 2016 demos.
+hawg427 And a belated Merry Christmas to you and yours, Hawg427. And a Happy New Year!
Wow.. I thought the Nenunaber Tri-Chorus (Inspire) was the best pedal version of the Tri Chorus...
Happy Holidays Brett. Thanks for all the great information. I just ordered mine today. Its Amazing. I had to have one. I Play alot of: Rush & Police. Now I need to get a Noel Cornet Fuzz, ( like the one you have, on the shelf above you ). Peace & Blessings brother. - Michael Caz - NYC -
OMG This is what I've been searching for, for years!!!!! I neeeeeeeeed this pedal! Santa please?
+Pete Donaghy try a HW cr-7
+Eric sin sinner I have one of those. It's good but I think this pedal sounds more like what I'm searching for. The Hardwire is a good pedal though.
Pete Donaghy
I also have a Stymon Ola and think the HW sounds better. I would think long before shelling out 300+ for a chorus, I just won a Keeley 30ms pedal for $150 and getting a Tech21 boost chorus mon, so i too am still looking for the perfect chorus
I hear you. It's a never ending search. For me, I'm looking for that 80s tri chorus sound. I'll take your advise and stick with the HW.
Pete Donaghy
Im getting the tech21 boost chorus and thats supposed to have a good tri chorus sound that eliminates the sweep im also getting a keeley 30ms
Great demo. Always informative and sounding great.
+Jin Jung Thanks! :)
Independent panning and speed of each voice would be the only thing I could think to make this legendary
the Tri- Stereo -Chorus, an older rack effect is the one. i think it has that
I'd say it's already running possibly at holy grail, and borderline legendary and maybe you're right if it had that something really extra that's kind of smart and a tad stupid you know.. like a ridiculous option on a car or even just something like a USB interface with more presents and extensive additional parameter controls like you'd see on a Source Nemesis, e.g... Also, what you originally said reminded me of an Ibanez Flying Pan.. where there you can control 2 speeds between phaser & pan/tremolo (stereo/mono).. that's a very rad effect, and safe to say, legendary!
would love to see an MC3 midi footswitch demo from free the tone
Name is no kidding!
Sold for me
Another Great Video Brett. Wow - Sounds Amazing. This is a Chorus Pedal that would even make: "Alex Lifeson" proud. Very Impressive. I am just wondering, How it would sound In Mono ? & ( also ) How much of that Thick, Lush, Shimmer is Only Achievable in Stereo ??? Michael Caz - NYC
You bought it and it’s now your favorite chorus pedal .
Lovely, but very expensive. Especially in Australia.
Pretty much everywhere, for $50 USD more you can get the Mobius that has so many modes. However the chorus alone beats the Mobius in every way. if I were filthy rich, I would get this one indeed.
so a little bit like a dyatronics cs-5?
So basically a kind of tri-chorus effect?
I think it would be perfect if the dry/wet mix had less than 50% wet
yea like 15 -30% optional at least
Does it sound like the dynatronics version ?
Hi Brett have you tried this with overdrive or distortion ?
+ehsaannoorani Not yet, no. Trying to find some spare time to do so. I'll cut another demo when I do.
How does it sound with a bass?
Digital?
Hey Brett, What's that little tweed style amp you have in the corner ? thanks
+tweed guitar That's a Bells Five. Great little amp. See bellsamps.com.au :)
+Brett Kingman Thanks Brett. Happy New Year !! cheers tweed
So you always have the rate sweep in the sound?
it looks like u can slow it down a lot but not stop it.
Daniel Simon
Wow sounds like a design flaw
Not when you realise that without it, it wouldn't be a chorus pedal. ;)
Aside from the memory is this a digital or analog unit? Thanks
