    Are the new shocks on the website? I'm looking at the 7205-MH system and debating pairing/swapping.

    How are you doing on stocking this? Do you have a new estimate on when this would become available?

    So I'm super new to van suspension. But will have a 2023 AWD 170 build out done mid August. Would this be used with a 4.3, 6.3 etc kit or used in place of?
    P. S. Was planning on a 6.3 or 6.5 kit, do we think we'll see AWD version by August released?

      You can use this strut in place of the secondary front shock found in the Stage 1-6 kits or it can be paired with for ultimate performance.

      @@VanCompass Any estimation in when I can order a 6.5 kit for our 2023 AWD and then add the new strut?

      @@Paul2009SM The electric shocks have been a bear to keep in stock. We will have the AWD 6.3 lift kit available in July and we hope to start getting 3.3 struts in August/September.

      @@VanCompass That leads to another question, sorry. If I were to get the AWD 6.3 intalled in August due to the lack of 6.5 AWD and then add the 3.3 struts down the road would the new struts make the alectric/auto feature of the 6.5 kit less needed since you'd have the adjustable front shock and the strut to configure for a broder range of use cases without having to adjust everything as you change from highway, to dirt to rock?

      @@Paul2009SM The new strut makes such an improvement in ride that you will not need to worry about not having the Adapt feature.

    How should this stack up to the evictus setup that just blew my shorts off?

    • @VanCompass
      @VanCompass  Год назад +2

      We can say that the front end performance is similar for high speeds, but some (patent pending) tech not yet shown makes our system better for low speed uneven surfaces while maintaining high speed agility. Our system is well rounded for all driving conditions and speeds. Our secondary shock paired with the Falcon Strut will also control slow speed side to side movements much more that the Evicts Bilstein alone, plus keep the van flatter around turns. Our rear suspension most likely works better because is it not a coil over placed at an angle on factory springs. This causes a digressive rear spring rate on compression. We use standard springs that ramp up rate as they are compressed. Our 3.3 strut/shocks are also adjustable. Evictus do not adjust externally. Their marketing says their shocks adjust automatically because of their anti cavitation valve. The 3.3 Falcon adjuster is similar to that valve, but it can be adjusted externally as well. Plus, all monotube style struts/shocks are velocity sensitive to shaft speed.
      Service Life - Our strut will last 100K+ miles. The damper rod is completely protected from the elements, keeping the oil clean and shaft safe from corrosion. The DU bearings are massive compared for the Bilstein strut.
      Cost - Our 3.3 pair of struts will retail for $1960. If you were comparing apples to apples - adjustable strut, adjustable rear shocks and adjustable Opti-Rate rear leaf springs - Total cost $4,658 vs 10K for Evictus. Or you can get a 2" lift from us with opti-rate rear springs and add the secondary adjustable shocks and be all in at $8,177.
