Houses and birds also turn out very cute. You have me addicted to these little embellishments. I tried several different doodles last night after watching part 1 of the video. 🏠 🐦
Hello Nolocarr, I’d love to see your houses and birds😊Do you have a utube channel?
Hi Nolacarr do you mean you are using houses and birds as a background or doodling houses and birds. I'm so glad you are having fun with it. Thank you for watching 🤗
@@myvagabondstyle I’m doodling houses and birds.
I have been making mushrooms 🍄 . Love this series ❤️
Oh yes mushroom! I might have to give them a try.
Thats so cool. I should try them.
Hi Debbie! I love how much you enjoy making these! Your enthusiasm is contagious and I want to start making these for my journals and collages right away! 🥰
I am just loving these videos. It is easy to follow along and draw and cut with you. The pace is perfect and the results are incredible. Thank you for sharing this technique as well as how to draw the designs. It's been great fun.
I'm so glad! What great feedback. Thank you for letting me know you are having great success. That makes my heart happy. ❤️❤️❤️
What a great lesson using up magazines. I’m so glad I found you. I’m using these for cards & junk journaling.❤❤❤
Hi Laney, welcome! I'm so glad you found my channel and thank you for letting me know how you will be using the fodder. Tag me on Instagram if you post your work there. 🤗
Part 6. Woohoo. Looking forward to it. I am originally from Denver. I sure miss those beautiful mountains. ❤
We miss the mountains and family but not shoveling that snow! 😆❤️🤗
Hi, Debbie As I was watching this my eyes fell on a greeting card with a large sprinkle covered cupcake. In the image I saw a daisy shaped flower. It dawned on me that many people are now buying reverse coloring books, but if you don't want to be completely random when drawing flowers like these you can use your magazine image like a reverse coloring book. For example, 2 tomato slices near each other could be butterfly wings, or wheels on a car, or eyes on a funny critter. I am loving this series. So happy there is a part 3 and maybe more. Nancy
Hi Nancy, wow you have a fantastic imagination. I just love that! I'm so glad you are happy with part 2. I filmed part 3 today and now realize that there will be a part 4 and 5! Thanks so much for your support. ❤️🤗❤️
Wow, love how you make these so assessable to the average person! You’re absolutely genius, and so good at the way you intuitively approach your projects, a true artist!
Thank you! 😊 They are so fun to make. My hope is that people find them fun to make and useful for their projects. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, I so love making the floral fodder. I get so carried away, because they come out so pretty. Especially the food pages, they make the best colors.
I know it's crazy how good the food ones come out, isn't it. Thanks for watching 🤗
Love these so much! I even ordered the white pens... I can't wait to try!
Oh thats great! I know Julie was making some of them today. They will be great for you junk journals

You'll get there. Keep at it. ❤️❤️❤️
I am going to create butterflies and moths. My flowers and leaves turned out great. I however do not have a white pen, so i am using a gold pen and a silver pen. Thank you Mrs. Debbie

These are fabulous and am going to give them a try later. I would love to see some of your work with these used.
Wonderful! Let me know how you do. I will be sure and show somethings I've used them in in Part 3. Thanks for the suggestion of that. 🤗
Still having fun with this idea! I even drew a tree!
Hi Lisa, I was working on trees today. I have 3 good ones so far. I think those will probably be in part 5! We are on the same track. 😁🤗❤️
Hi there! I'm new to your channel and love it! I just forwarded this to my sister. You are so creative and I appreciate you sharing your talent.
Hi Carolyn and welcome! I so happy you're here. Thank you for suggesting my channel to your sister. Part 3 will be out on Tuesday! 🤗
These are all so cute. If I hadn’t watched these videos, I would never have guessed that you had used magazines for this. Cute as Christmas! I just got my white gel pen! I’m ready😂
I'm so happy to hear that you're going to do some of these. Did you get a posca or Sharpe as well? Let me know how you do. If you have Instagram...tag me. Get your fodder on girl! 🤣
@@myvagabondstyle yes I had a sharpie. I got quite a few done. I 👍 I think I will do better with time. I’m slow too. But I had fun and I definitely will keep doing these. I love them. Thank you so much for sharing this! I had a little trouble getting my gel pen to flow over the magazine paper. I thought I would try spraying it with matte decoupage first next time
@@myvagabondstyle I don’t have instagram
I love the food ones! What a great use of those food photos that have beautiful colors but maybe you don't want a plate of food on your page 😆 I have been playing around after watching your last video...I think I will do a video on this too! There are so many ideas for things to do and how to use them! TFS! 💜 Congrats on the fasting! Not eating after dinner is so HARD for me, too! But I feel a ton better not eating before bed 💞
The food ones come out so beautiful, don't they. I'm also working on making some tree fodder. It's endless, really. So much fun....I can't stop 🤣
Yes the fasting after dinner and the cancelation of my happy hour is the hardest. 🤪
Hi, Laura I'm looking forward to your version too. Nancy

Wow! I’m in love with all of your creations ❤ Soooo beautiful 😍😍😍TFS👌🔥
Thanks so much 😊 I hope you find lots of places to use them
So fun, I have no magazines yet but I am using ugly scrapbook paper which most of us have. Thank you for sharing 🤗
🤣 right. I'm guessing that we all have some ugly scrapbook paper hanging around. I think I have some from the late 90s! I've been carrying that stuff around for decades! 🤣
Yes, oh , its 3 am in Va. I just forced myself to put it away, 😂
these are so pretty Deb! TYFS Cindy
Thanks so much Cindy! I hope you give them a try.
I love to collage and these would be a great addition 😊❤
I think so too. More to come, Part 3 will be up Tuesday! Thanks so much for watching. 🤗
@@myvagabondstyle I look forward to it ☺️❤️
The white on top of the black adds another layer of interest.
It sure does. Thanks for the comment.
Enjoying this tutorials very much Many thanks. The stacked circles I tried with a triangle shape at the top and each layer below mirroring the base, reminds me of a conifer/christmas tree. Have Subscribed and I'm very interested to see #4 & #5. From NSW Australia
I love hearing that you're giving it a go. That's awesome. Part 4 came out this morning 🥰 Thanks for letting me know you are here.
P. S. Fun fact....I'm obsessed with wombats. We don't have them here in the US 😿
Absolutely love this idea! Please show us how you’d use this fodder…
Hahaha! At the very end you do show how it’s used!!
Thanks for checking out my channel. Part 3 comes out tomorrow! ❤️
Cute idea!
Thank you! 😊
I thought I commented on this video 😊 You are definitely addicted and I love it. We all need a good addiction that is healthy. 😂😂 I love how you draw with your left hand and cut with your right. I never noticed that until this video. My brother is a lefty and I'll have to ask if he does anything else with his right hand. TFS, sista' and have a great day. xo ❤❤
I'm also addicted to carbs but that's not a good thing. 🤣
@@myvagabondstyle 🤣
Thank you ❤
Hi Julie! You came back for more, awesome! Part 3 will be out next week!
I love these soon much. Thank you. Have a wonderful day. ❤❤❤
Thank you Christine. I have more to show. 😁 Part 3 coming soon. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed the video 🤗
@@myvagabondstyle I can't wait. I love them. Thank you.
I learned about fodder some time ago and while it’s probably considered cheating, I like using the gorgeous scrapbook sheets of paper I have been horsing because they are so pretty. Using it for this technique allows me to have beautiful pieces of the paper to use other places. Keep having fun with it!❤
If you're having fun and creating something....it's all good in my book. Thanks so much for being here. 🤗
I’ve really enjoyed watching you make this magazine fodder. I can’t draw, but I’m definitely itching to try this. Thank you for sharing!
I hope you try it. Start with the simple small petal flowers. Get the right pens like Posca or Sharpie and a good gel pen. Then practice on magazine pages. Cut them out even if you don't think they are very good you just might be surprised. ❤️
So fabulous who knew you could make so many flower designs. These would be great on birthday cards too, they have so many uses. Tfs xo
Thanks so much and yes they would be great on greeting cards. I think there are so many fun things we can use them for.😊 thanks for watching. 🤗
I love these, Debbie! I’ve been making some from your last video on this. You are right; they are addictive!😊❤
Wonderful! I'm so glad to hear you are making them. More fun ones to come my friend.
LOVE these, Debbie! They are so whimsical and fun. I will email you later today. 😊😊
Glad you liked these and I'll keep an eye out for your email. 🤗
These are so wonderfully cool!!😍😍I was working on a sunflower themed project while watching you this morning and stopped to make a few flowers with you.🌻Can’t wait until Part 3! ❤
Thank you sis. You are so talented I'm sure you will be making lots of beautiful ones. ❤️🤗❤️
❤❤❤
These are so great ... whimsy wonderful! Just noticed you're ambidextrous. Cool beans.🌺
Thanks so much! 😊 The only thing I do with my right hand is cutting with scissors. Thank you elementary school for not providing left handed scissors 😆 Thanks so much for watching and leaving me a comment. ❤️
I love these.
Thank you so much Kathy ❤️
I’m watching from Louisiana.
Hello and welcome Ellen from Louisiana! I'm so glad you're here. 🤗
I am so obsessed with this style. So glad I found your channel. I made a bunch last night and had a hard time stopping. 110, yuck. I melt at 68. What part of colorado? TFS 😀
🤣 we need an intervention 🤣 The obsession is real!
We are going to the Castle Rock area. It's south of Denver. Hoping for some cooler weather. Thanks for being here. BTW there will be a part 6! 😁
I can’t draw anything for schnizzle lol. Even simple Simon drawings. 😂 but I love these so I need to figure something out.
I bet if you took it slow and got the right pens, paused my videos and did them with me, you would be making beautiful fodder in no time. Don't give up. Practice my friend 🤗
🌷
Thanks for watching Fanny 🤗
I’m so addicted!!! Had a fun day and made such beautiful fodder. Then I decoupaged…I used MATTE mp. 😤🥺😫 it’s ruined! 😢
Oh Nooooo Katie! I will go over some options on sealing them in part 3. Keep at it and build a stash of them.
I LOVE these little doodles! 💖 I'm a new subbie! What state do you live in? I live in Utah.
Hi Kelly. Thanks for subbing! I'm in Arizona. Nice of you to say hello. 🤗
Are your magazine papers glossy.. I love them.
Hi Marlene. Some are glossy and some aren't. I use both. I do think if have a choice, I prefer the matte ones.
So you aren’t junk journaling anymore. What do you do with this cute flowers you make?
Hi Bobbi I'm using them in some of my collage and mixed media work. I think some of these would make great cards. In Part 3 that will be up on my channel next week, I do show how I've used some of it. I hope you come back to watch that. Thanks for the comment. 🤗
How do they work on flimsy glossy regular magazine pages?
Actually not bad. I will say using a Posca pen works best on the shinny slick paper. I does tend to scratch off if you aren't careful with it. Thanks for watching and I love getting questions so thanks for that as well.
@@myvagabondstyle do you have any to show or demonstrate after you cut them out?
How do you store these so they don't tear
Hi Karen, great question. I've been using an ephemera holder that I made for junk journaling. I'm not doing much JJ and it worked perfectly. I show it in episodes 3 and 5, I think. Thanks for watching 🤗
