I am in the phase of mimicking other people ( I am not selling anything) but I will like to create my own style and I was wondering how to get there. For me, I think it is mainly geometric shapes inspired by moroccan patterns, not the perfect ones but the ones in Fessi-style henna. For my dad, who is an amazing collage artist, it is vertical, irregular fluid shapes.

Even so, I regret not swatching and putting my notes in a larger workbook like you've done, and I feel I really must do that. Your samples and art pieces are just lovely. Hey Patricia! Thanks for watching! The book I referred to there is Color Harmony for Artists by Ana Victoria Calderón. I find this book a great inspiration if I’m struggling with colour and I’ve learned so much from it on mixing paints!! Definitely recommend it!
