Wow! everything you shared is really cool, beautiful. I never knew about Fodder School, a few people have shared what they made and they’re just so nice. I’d love to attend the fodder school!
Wow! What a beautiful journey seeing all of these gorgeous pieces you made! I got into mixed media this year (now getting back into my old scribble sketching, I hop around a lot with different mediums and styles lol), and I've never heard of the term Fodder before! I just googled fodder in terms of art/crafting, and wow!💥🤯Where have I been?? 😅 Here I am just calling everything ephemera, when I've actually made fodder 😆 Anywho, thank you for this wonderful video and you helped me learn so much! Your work is incredibly inspiring 😊😊 Much love! 💞
Thanks so much! Yes, fodder is a relatively new term, coined by the creators of Fodder School. I think ephemera refers more to souvenirs or vintage stuff, whereas fodder is stuff you make to put into your mixed media work. At least that is how I think of it. Glad you stopped by and found some inspiration here!!
Everything is just gorgeous! I had signed up for FS1 and am about to get started, so this is super exciting to see what’s coming up 😊 Your work is absolutely beautiful, thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I enjoyed seeing your projects from FS1. You all seemed to have really great experiences. I’d have trouble keeping up. I am not good with deadlines. Everything you made, and you made a lot, is wonderful. The retro bikini concertina book is fabulous! Really nice! And the book at the end is outstanding. Excellent! Thanks for sharing your creations. I’ve been inspired by you. 🐥hop hop hop
Ohhhhh Myyyyyy GOSH! YOU are truly amazing! I feel like a slug compared to your projects. You’ve inspired me to do more fodder projects! You are so creative and talented!
Fodder School 3 is underway. It started in October but you can still join. The classes don't build upon each other really so you can jump in at any time and make up the months you missed at your leisure.
Thank you for showing your projects. I just signed up for FS1 even though it was from last year. You have inspired me to work through each month so I can use all the fodder in projects.
Love all these projects and your work, and choice of colors! At 16:30 on the video, for the month of September, you mentioned Kelley...Kelley who? I'd like to find her channel! Thanks!
It was a class offered by Wendy Solganik (aka Willa Wanders on instagram) as part of Fodder School 1. I believe you can the course is still available and she offers other journal making classes as well.
Hi! I am just discovering FODDER SCHOOL and absolutely love this idea and curriculum. I saw Fodder school #3 in Oct 2023 but I have not taken 1 or 2. Can I join for 3 or just watch 1 & 2? Any guidance on how to start would be wonderful. Thank you very much for such amazing information!!! Hope to be a Fodder Alumni soon 😊
You can absolutely jump into FS 3 without doing 1 or 2. The lessons don't necessarily build upon each other. And it's not like they will introduce something in 3 that requires knowing something that was done in 1 or anything like that. Though you do find yourself combining fodder you've made from multiple lessons so that is cool. I would say join 3 so you are in sync with everyone else and then if you really like it you can go back and get 1 or 2 and do that at your leisure. I loved year 1 the best, for what it's worth.
Thank you! I'm sorry I can't share details about how we made the Fodder Keeper as that was part of a paid curriculum and it wouldn't be fair to the artist who taught the course. I hope you can understand. I've seen videos on RUclips where they use photo album sheets. Barbara from @49dragonflies has two great tutorials on how she made hers: ruclips.net/video/nfKLCirXVfY/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/p0MP2yprw1g/видео.html

@@eb_mixedmedia I think that's a perfect explanation between ephemera vs fodder now that I know this term! 💕💕

That is great! Thank you!!
What colors/sprays/paints did you use for the Autumn (January?) papers/book - I love them & would like to try to duplicate! WOW! Love your projects
I believe I used Bright Teal and Venitian Rose (both Liquitex), a lot of white, and Golden High Fluid Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold.
Fantastic!
Thank you!!
Just love your art. Fantastic 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much!!
It’s 2024 are they still doing it? Looked like fun!
Yes! Fodder school 4 is coming up!

Love all these projects and your work, and choice of colors! At 16:30 on the video, for the month of September, you mentioned Kelley...Kelley who? I'd like to find her channel! Thanks!
It was Kelly Anderson of Kelly Anderson Studio. Great month of lessons!
@@eb_mixedmedia Thank you!
The little book at 7:49--did you learn to make that in Fodder School? It looks so cute!
Thanks! That was part of the Fodder School Challenge.
The fabric journal is so lovely. Is there anywhere to learn the techniques used to make it?
