There should be a "Love" button for this video. I absolutely love these fodder bits. Your demonstration is enjoyable to watch as well as enlightening. Your enthusiasm certainly inspires. I immediately got to working on some magazine pages. Thanks for sharing your technique. Look forward to seeing more fodder from you.

Laura....The Half Ass Crafter opened her last video showing the card you sent her and she was so pleased with it and is going to post it on the wall in her craft room. You Rock!

This video caused 3 RUclipsrs to get a new subscriber.😂❤ I bet you could use scrapbook papers that you don’t really care for and make them into something you love.

Thank you so much! These are soooo cool! I so agree when we are retired, so important to do what brings us joy and doesn’t feel like work! We earned it! And besides, you are providing a wonderful gift. So glad I found your channel!❤

  • @MsLouisVee

I am so done with Margarete Miller. It was beginning to feel like work so I quit.

  • @KittehNow

I saw this yesterdzy and I HAVE LOST myself in This. Art journey just went down a new and incredibly exciting path!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Hi, Debbie I understand perfectly about Margaret Miller challenge. Her prompt collages are wonderful exercises, but just like I have to change up a physical exercise routine once in a while, my brain will also crave a different exercise at times. One collage a week sounds easy at first, but in 3 years of trying I have never been able to even complete half of them. Love your flower fodder. Shannon Green has been showing up a lot on my feed lately and I've heard her name mentioned a few times before as well. Nancy

I love your attitude about doing things that feel like a “job”. How freeing! That’s what I’m aiming for. (I m also retired)

I love these little flowers and leaves Debbie! I can see it being addictive!

  • @belindasmith3881

Branching out is good; it demonstrates growth; no self-imposed guilt for trying something different.

  • @DayTripVintageCo

Genius Debbie! When you showed the examples at the beginning, they instantly took your collages to the next level. So fun and whimsical and such an easy to follow tutorial…looking forward to more!!

  • @creativecorrie

Thank you for this. I am a multi media artist and I adore your creativity. I have pages and pages and pages of magazine and big old coffee table books in my stash. Thank you for giving me the new perspective on recyclable art. 😍🥰😍🥰😍😍

I am retired too. A retired Registered Nurse who always did art. I love art too. Yes, i do what my heart feels is good to share. I like to teach others in my art. Since, i did a tons of teaching as a nurse. I do my videos when i feel like it. No schedule. I thought of a scedule? I am not sure if you have more success on utube? That is not my focus. Great video. ❤

  • @joymeadows3646

I can understand why you don't want to do the Margarete Miller challenge, Debbie! I have never been good at following prompts, especially if they don't really make any kind of sense. These flowers/leaves/branches are so much fun and very whimsical. And, since I don't want to spend $$$ on the collage books, this is a fabulous way to make my own! TFS

  • @debracarter7290

The black and white outlines look so good! ❤
