Easy to follow, nice pace that fits on music even. Love that tutorial format! Thank you man!
Thanks for this! More mograph breakdowns/tutorials like this would be greatly appreciated!
lovely graphics!!!
This is an awesome introduction to the animation node fundamentals, thank you so much !
Wonderful. Easy explained and I must say, I couldn't speed up the video, the soundtrack is so good 🥴
😅😅✌️thanks
as a very very long term user of Blender since 2.4 times.. and now since few years Houdini user.. i have to say! DAMN i love animation nodes... might go back from Houdini to Blender
Thank you so much you just gave me hope after i decided to gave up on learning Animation Nodes. Thanks
freakin' cool. and elegantly presented, too. a nice change of pace!
this is first AN tutorial for me! thank you very much.
Thank you!
Jeez dude, how did you Master this.
It's Amazing.
nice
the amount of things i learned in this video is crazy, love these AN videos, keep em coming! thanks for the great work:) also, is there a way to turn all cylinders into rigid bodies so they can collide with each other etc?
Thanks...we can make them collide but the setup is bit complicated, we have to use constraints for every cylinders. which also makes performance worse
Hi there and thank you very much for this great tutorial. I was wondering how to use this setup when the initial sphere would be part of a larger scene and not situated at the world origin. How can one fix its position to the objects origin and then let it wiggle from there? For some reason, the amplitude settings in the wiggle node also determine its overall positin in the scene and my object jumps to the world origin and wiggles from there. Thanks for your help, much appreciated!
easy to follow, however, how to get understand all it with animation nodes (
more im begging you mooore
New friend here Lk
look nice. did someone had issues like me to install animation nodes ? i'm on 2.81.
Which render engine you use to render the final results on your animation ?
For reasons I don't understand, Animation Nodes won't let me plug in Direction to Rotation's Euler Rotations into the Rotations input in Compose Matrix.
Can I make it so that it reacts to audio?
I don't see a polygon normals option under the socket settings. The only option showing is "Matrices". Any ideas?
I had the same issue. It turned out that I have probably selected different node without noticing. From the video it looks like it works on hover, but really you need to click on it first. Hope this helps.
Why not just use object instancing? Animation nodes seems like overkill for this particular task, still a very cool tool! Am I missing a piece?
Yes for this particular effect u can just use object instancing😄, but these videos surely helps those who wants to learn AN
@@bluefoxcreation i definitely just learned a few things for one. would be cool to learn a little about instancing also-- but totally looking forward to more AN vids!
Hey! I have a problem with rendering, it crashes every time when I try to render it(( do anyone knows what is the problem?
Don’t use a potato laptop
For some reason my blender 2.81 doesn't want to install the animation node add on . Someone has this issue?
Probably you have installed source code from github...you need to install compiled version : blender.community/c/graphicall/0hbbbc/
@@bluefoxcreation it almost worked but im getting Traceback errors. well at least its getting somewhere =p
@@sebastienlopez7803 I had a similar problem when I upgraded recently.
I suspect you need to reinstall the vc_redist.x64 which has some windows features that AN uses.
Check out this link on the AN github, third item titled "Import Error: DLL load failed"
github.com/JacquesLucke/animation_nodes/issues/1240
After I reinstalled vc_redist, I went through the AN install process again and it worked normally.

This tutorial is so well made and easy to folloiw but it simply won't work for me. I have the current version of blender 2.80 and my icosphere simply won't move after plugging in the Time Info node into the Wiggle...
Found the answer, I just had to turn on Always Execute again.
When rendering, it still didn't work, found another solution though. Turn off always again. Create a custom trigger, choose the scene and beneath the scene there is an empty space. Put 'frame_current' there. (Maybe it was current_frame I forgot)
I’m gunna tell my kids this was the Corona Virus
Also, amazing tutorial. Thank you so much, I’m really glad I found your channel
