At the beginning, a dove flies over the musicians to a wall ledge on the right and then to the painting by Tchaikovsky. Clara-Jumi Kang follows it, completely enchanted. A beautiful sign before her cue comes. Then she enchants all those who come to the gift of this concert and its beautiful interpretation. A shout in the audience about this dove, that wants to listen too, makes Simonov turn to the audience, but he does not understand why the commotion is. Funny.

I think it is high time that Clara-Jumi Kang will be regarded as a violinist equal to Hilary Hahn, Janine Jansen, Isabella van Keulen, Lisa Bathiashvili and other young female violinists. She is in that division, but has not had the same support as they have had. At least it is so I think.
With all respect, she is in a higher league than all the names mentioned. I also don't understand why we need to consider "young female violinists" separately. Clara-Jumi Kang is a major violinist in the history of the recorded violin, period.
Of all the female violinists of this current generation, CJK’s performance is all soul - classic combination of German sophistication and Eastern Asian philosophical thoughtfulness. Used to enjoy the above-mentioned, but lately I humbly found their style of playing is too robust for me. On piano side, Miss Alice Sara Ott is my go-to, of this current generation.

Jumi-Kag has great potential, but the solo piece in the first movement is considered one of the most difficult solos ever composed/added to a violin concerto.. Mendelsohn, years prior to Tchaikovsky introduces this idea of a solo where the violin is left alone, but his solo is not in any way compared to Tchaikovsky's solo in about between the 9th or 10th minutes of the concert ( I could not cut and paste the score) Very few dare to perform this concert because of that soloist section. Jumi-Kag seems to get over it but with great difficulty and she falls behind a couple of times. Nonetheless she is at a competition and she should be able to get it right. By the way, one of my best friends is a violist and she say she would never dare to perform as a soloist ether Beethoven's volant concerto or Tchaikovsky's. The latter just because of that solo in the first movement.
솔직이 1악장 초입부텀 음정도 여러 군데 불안하고 마~니 틀리고 글고 또한 마~니 Up된 연주를 함, 애기때 장영주가 3/4짜리 바이얼린으로 핑크 연주복 입고 캐나다 성당인가??? 거기서 했던 연주가 기교면& 표현적 훠~얼 안정적, 클라라 주미 강 베토벤으로 여러 콩쿨(서울 국제&인디애나 폴리스)우승 거머쥔 곡 즉 한마디로 베토벤만 그나마 젤 강하고 나머진 그닥, 정경화 선생님 같이 멘델스죤&차이코프스키, 브루흐, 브람스까지 두루 두루 하는 단계까진 못감~
