Although this Slovenia travel vlog doesn't get off to the perfect start (I get sick) I am so glad we made it, because it was one of the most memorable days of our trip!

I just wanted to say thank you. I have spent the majority of the past year in the hospital (and most of the time not spent in the hospital, I have still been completely bedridden). Watching your travel vlogs has been a wonderful way for me to leave the confines of my hospital bed and see bits of the world, and I really appreciate you sharing these trips with us.

lol! You just killed me. “In the 90s”… I was 18 in 1996. We used maps and panic really. Later we used mapquest and printed it and followed the directions, while also panicking a bit. Hahahaha.

This is one of my favorite places! Whenever i feel angry i whatch a lot of vlogs videos from this place like you❤❤❤
Lake Bled Slovenia is pure magical. I spent 3 nights there and was actually so sad to leave. I will get back there 😭 I also went ziplining and canyoning there 😊
I visited Slovenia (and Europe in general) for the first time and it was MAGICAL and I can’t wait to go back

I traveled from Sweden to Ireland on my own in 1999 (I was 18) I flew to Dublin and knew I needed to take a train to Ennis on the other side of Ireland.
I was lucky and got help from an old lady I sat next to on the plane there to get to the train station.
You had to ask around but people was real nice :)
Funny, I never heard of Lake Bled before but last week I booked a summer holiday to Croatia . We are going by car and we decided to stop somewhere in Slovenia for three days on the way there, and we choose Lake Bled. I didn't know the place but it looks absolutly beautiful!
I’m currently re-watching the show Vikings.. I got a little chuckle when Dean said “I feel like I’m rowing to the gates of Valhalla!” 😊
If the BBC ever decided to bring back their 'Holiday' programme, you'd be an excellent presenter! 😆

There are some really annoying youtubers there, but you are genuinely just lovely and you don't try to be someone else, which makes your videos very enjoyable.

I love little restaurants like this, 19:34 …I think I like this almost as much as the lake. Boy what’s more relaxing than a boat ride on a lake like that, that must’ve been amazing.

You look straight off a postcard! So pretty! FYI - I went to Barnes and Noble and purchased a NYC subway/transit map back in 1995 when I was at university beginning my travels! I used a paper map to navigate! Or flying off for job interviews across the USA in the 90s trying to figure out where to live! OMG I feel old. Thanks for letting me live a little through your travels!
Just adding: you getting on that boat reminded me of when my BFF and I capsized a canoe about 1/2 mile offshore a lake. Neither of us could stop laughing long enough to attempt to even try to get back in plus we were out of shape. So we swam the canoe back to shore. 😂😂

YESS I would totally go back, we were actually hoping for snow, but it was beautiful so I would love to come back again in the winter with snow or summer to swim in the lake!
Also… incredible footage. Your drone footage scenes are something I aspire to. The whole area looks like a live action Ghibli film. Do you guys have to get drone permits there? How do you travel with it?
