I wish so much and I'm still hoping that they recorded this song along with all of "Animals" in 1977 when they came through America with their "In the Flesh" tour!! They played all of "Animals" short break then all of "Wish You Were Here" and then three songs from Dark Side of the Moon for their encore!! Almost 3 hours of phenomenal music in their prime!!

I saw this concert in Brisbane Australia. All I can say is if he brings this show to your city, don't miss it, or you will regret it for life. Like I feel about not seeing Floyd. This show is the best show I have ever seen, and I've seen Alice Cooper 3 times, and even seen Queen in 1985. I'm not saying he is better, but certainly the best show.
💯agree about the concert experience being so much more powerful when you could just be in the moment instead of being one step removed and distracted by recording [ ...or even just distracted by the awareness of having your phone with you at all times]. People don't seem to be as deeply absorbed in the performance. Shows haven't felt the same since we became tethered to our phones. Happy to own the Gen X-iness of my POV on this. 😊

People used camera phone when the Pig comes and fly.. Its a great memory!! I got my photo with the pig on 2007 here in Monterrey, México...the pig took a turn to the stadium and ...the cable It broke!! jajajaa...the pig flew away...like Simpsons cartoon

Watch a performance by David 2016 and after and if you prefer the chill vibe and guitar noodles galore it's great... but the energy and importance of a Water's performance is incomparable...

Rory you mentioned in your reaction to Roger Waters Pigs about the Whitehouse well when Roger wrote Pigs in 1977 the Whitehouse he was referring to was Mary Whitehouse not the USA's Whitehouse as he Roger was criticising her about her bullshit that she wanted everything that was Christian to be banned (ie) from Music to Television programmes as she felt that they were bad influences on the young of the 70's, that's why part of the lyrics are "You want to keep it all on the inside and stop it from being on the streets"..
