I've been training/exercising for over 20 years. To label a single routine or exercise that contributed the most would be inaccurate. Everything builds upon itself. It's an accumulative process. Keep doing what you are doing and the gains will follow. It's all about consistency and working harder than everyone else.
Great video, many many creative ideas. Ross Enamait is one of the few athletes who manage to balance to so well weight training, resistance training, bodyweight training, etc etc. I am glad I was inspired back in the day by him to reach the level I am at now. :)))
Wow on the scene where he was dipping. He had a weight vest and was still going up with those weight. You trully inspire me. Just what I needed to see. Thank you!
i have watched your videos and read articles on ur website for years after watching this video it confirms what i already knew......Ross, you are a beast.
I cant stop watching this!! I seen it like 1000's of times, and it's a shame that you only get 1 view from me, otherwise you would have topped 100,000 by now. It's just too good!
Ross ur the man!! Awesome Clip. I dont know nothing better in the web than you, defranco and crossfit. Best Training Styles I know. Love the way you train, your motivation and power. Great Inspiration thx. Greetz from Germany ;)
I train alone at home,so except for the videos that I have seen youtube I have no idea as to how others train. But you ,sir , are a pleasure to watch.Love your gym and your intensity. Most of these exercises are not even known.I liked your sandbag version of clean and press,as most of the heavy objects that we lift in real life are not shaped in the form of a barbell.
Ross you are a true inspiration.. you have trained for the same amount of time i have walked on this planet! Although im not an aspiring competitive athlete, i believe its the duty of every human being on this planet to work towards and explore his/her ultimate physical and mental potential no matter what the circumstances the person is in and i will dedicate my life to do so too
The man who a few years ago has changed my life! thanks for your books, your videos and your ideas. Simple and innovative as only the greatest can. Who knows, one day I would like to thank you in person. greetings from Italy!
Ross....your books and videos have been the motivation needed to continue with my weight loss (15 LBS to date). Much respect to you and thanks for the video
Two words Ross: Wow!! The other has no word to describe the awesomeness I aspire to because of you. I have other heroes but you are VERY much up there when it comes to the realm of what's possible with the Human Body. Thank you, Sir.
It's not about luck. I've been training hard for over 20 years. Smart work is as important as hard work (ie. knowing your body, knowing when to back off, when to push it, when to shift gears, etc.). It's not a matter of luck, but rather a matter of proper planning and understanding.
This video is amazing!!! I enjoy seeing the creative ways in which you challenge your body. I am also a fan of quotes and am going to write some of these that you shared down. All together a very inspirational video. Thank You!!!
Ross your still as awe inspiring today as you were back in 2007 when I was turned onto you. Thank you for all you've done for health/fitness and combat sports. I look forward to seeing the continuing evolution of RossTraining for may, many years to come.
Great video, many many creative ideas. Ross Enamait is one of the few athletes who manage to balance to so well weight training, resistance training, bodyweight training, etc etc. I am glad I was inspired back in the day by him to reach the level I am at now. :))) Thanks Ross!
Heavy DB Walking lunges with a vest … SWEET! Suspension hand stand push ups ….. CRAZY! Pull ups with lots of 45lb plates …. BEASTLY! The inspiration from these exercises/quotes … PRICELESS!
Ross, this is one of your best ever videos. Just watching this while on a break at work has me so fired up, I can't wait to get to the gym! This will be one of those great videos to watch for those days when I get up and don't feel like training - thank you for this, you're an inspiration.
WOW one of the best inspirationals I've ever see! Thank you Ross Enamait for making us better athlets, but most important... thank you for making us better persons.
i watch your videos for motivation all the time before i workout. i dont have the equipment you have, i have some free weights and my total gym with all the attachments. i use everything i have, and like you invent new ways to workout. my years in the martail arts helped me with that. i had open heart surgery as a kid. the worst thing for me is not to workout. thanks for the videos.
You're friggin fit Ross Enamait, i've been doing a couple of your exercises in my variations/sets, and I can honestly say, I'm in the best shape of my life. Thank you for Ross for being such a Great Influence and giving me Motivation.
I read and watched videos to educate myself in the (apparently) difficult road to lose weight and gain muscle. In 1 year and a half i droped from 150 kg (300 lbs) at 18/19 years old to 82 (180.4 lbs) at 20 years old. You don't need fancy dvd's or books. You just have to set your mind in your goal and if you want it (and i mean if YOU WANT IT) you'll do it. If you don't, then you don't want it that bad or you aren't prepared for the struggle of changing your life upside down.
The best way to deal with injuries is to avoid them, which means knowing your body, knowing when to push it, when to back off, etc. Proper planning/programming is the most important aspect for recovery and injury prevention.
I can't recall if I commented on any of your vids previously but I just have to chime in and say that the phrase "talking the talk , walking the walk" fits you well, you have mastered some of the most difficult and all around effective exercises known to man and it appears you have done it in a very humble manner, kudos to ya and keep up the impressive work, thanks Ross!
I train in the morning, but make time for some mini-workouts when possible. I'm usually busy training others though, so often get in some work while working with them.
Well, I still do plenty of strength work, just typically not specific to benching. As for combat sports, I train fighters for a living, but what I do and what my guys do is different. My goals are unique. I train people based on their needs. My own training is more of a hobby. At this stage in my life, I do what I enjoy. Thanks again for the kind words.
Well said... I too have a bachelor's and master's degree (ironically, I had an academic scholarship many years ago). I'm also a husband and father to two amazing children. There's much more to my life than "lifting weights" as he puts it. Unfortunately, some folks have nothing better to do with themselves than to talk shit online.
Thank you. As for explosiveness, I'd say that it is a product of both. I've been training for over 20 years, so I've definitely become a product of the work that's taken place. With that said, I was always more naturally explosive as opposed to enduring. I work hard at both though.
When it comes to Ross Enamait im speechless. How do you do it? What drives you?? What motivates you??? You can skip fast, triple clap pushups and you can lift like 300pounds, i dont know anyone else who can do that
Another awesome video. You have some great ideas and come up with some wild shit. I try to add some of your training into my workouts. Keep up the great work. Your inspire alot of people.
I am speechless. I take my hat off to you. You not only have elite lifting strength, body weight strength, explosiveness, conditioning, but you seem to have it from every angle for every exercise and muscle group. This is every strength/conditioning athlete's dream. This is real motivation. I'm going to go work out in the rain now! How heavy were the 'kettlebell' swings at the 5:02 mark?
there are loads of options for filling bags, i have over 10. some include pea gravel, others sand, some wood pellets, etc. there isn't a single approach to filling the bags. i don't mean to sidetrack the question, but i have an entire section on bag construction/filling in my sandbag training DVD. there really is that much to be said about the subject. filler bags (ex. tire inner tubes) must also be considered.
I've used the wheel for many, many years. I never trained for the front lever though. The years of previous work allowed me to perform it. I'm by no means a gymnast, but I would definitely say that back strength was as important (or more important) than core strength. There was certainly some carry over from all of the back training that I've done over the years.
Thanks, your vid gave me the motivation to add some of the variation i used to do. I have been ll bodyweight but i miss heavy one arm presses, heavy rows.I will add 50yd. weighted sand sprints rest is farmerwalk back. Thanks for the vid and response.
There isn't a single answer as there are plenty of cases where such movements will never make sense for certain individuals. Individual goals and needs must first be considered. Assuming such goals are in line with your goals/needs, a strong base must first be established. Getting stronger should come first before one begins targeting additional strength qualities such as reactive strength, explosive strength, speed strength, etc.
Pardon my French, but you're a fucking BEAST. I have a long way to go to get to your level, but with your tutorials and homemade equipment tips I can honestly say I out perform all my peers with gym memberships and fancy equipment. I just want to say thanks for the inspiration!
The handle is just a piece of pipe. I cut it down from 24 inches to around 22 (I don't recall the exact measurement). I had to take a few inches off though to avoid hitting my leg. As for the bands, there are several suppliers (Ex. elitefts, jump stretch, iron woody fitness).
Thank you for the kind words. I have 150 pounds on the bar, so it's probably around 155 or so. The handle doesn't weigh too much. I've never actually weighted it.
You are such a inspirational character, and watching you motivates me to get myself where i want to be. By the way, Never Gymless and Infinite Intensity, great stuff !
Great stuff Ross. You should make a video with information on dieting with the best cutting and performance enhancing diets both you and your fighters use. It would probably help a lot of people including myself.
I've never had any serious or even noteworthy injuries from training. The only injuries that ever sidelined me were hand injuries as a young fighter. That was a LONG time ago however.
I've been training/exercising for over 20 years. To label a single routine or exercise that contributed the most would be inaccurate. Everything builds upon itself. It's an accumulative process. On the contrary, training like this has laid the foundation for injury prevention.
Strength and ingenuity make a great combination. Make the most of everything you have to go as far as you can.
Wow on the scene where he was dipping. He had a weight vest and was still going up with those weight. You trully inspire me. Just what I needed to see. Thank you!

gunna watch this twice. once for the quotes and once for the training.
Absolutely pure and utter class! You should be the opening ceremony in the 2012 Olympics! Nice look with the beard Ross LOL
Damn that was a great video, I needed that!
This vid is my new home page. I am going to watch it before every workout. Way to go Ross!
Ross ur the man!! Awesome Clip. I dont know nothing better in the web than you, defranco and crossfit. Best Training Styles I know. Love the way you train, your motivation and power. Great Inspiration thx. Greetz from Germany ;)
to me probably the most awesomest workout video ever, to me.
Coach Ross you are the best. Been visiting ypur website for 6 years now and you never disappoint!!!!
Ross I have always been a fan and this video confirms it!
I was fighting competitively over 20 years ago, so training has been a way of life for a long time.
Ross you are a true inspiration.. you have trained for the same amount of time i have walked on this planet! Wow! What a great man. Practicing what he is preaching, leading by the power of example. Thank you Ross
This video is amazing!!! I enjoy seeing the creative ways in which you challenge your body. I am also a fan of quotes and am going to write some of these that you shared down. All together a very inspirational video. Thank You!!!
Got to give you some serious credit, a lot of effort and time goes into being able to perform some of those exercises, you are a beast
That was one of the coolest, most impressive, and captivating videos I've ever seen on youtube.
Ross your still as awe inspiring today as you were back in 2007 when I was turned onto you.
Thank you for all you've done for health/fitness and combat sports. I look forward to seeing the continuing evolution of RossTraining for may, many years to come.
BEST training montage i ever seen...VERY INSPIRATIONAL!!
Great video, many many creative ideas. Ross Enamait is one of the few athletes who manage to balance to so well weight training, resistance training, bodyweight training, etc etc. I am glad I was inspired back in the day by him to reach the level I am at now. :))) Thanks Ross!

Fantastic! Truly you are a man of action . . . and a man of thought! Your dreams lead you through life!
Exceptional video and selection of quotes. Thanks for putting this together.
Thanx Ross for that motivational video. I appreciate it very much.

So I totally have to watch this again to actually see what the quotes where. I was too busy watching Ross be a beast...
You're a beast, Ross!!! Your training tips helped me a lot, thank you!!!!!!
I train in the morning, but make time for some mini-workouts when possible. I'm usually busy training others though, so often get in some work while working with them.
just love it. reminds me of what my aim is everyday.
Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. And yes, we only get one chance at life. We may as well see how far we can go.

That is one finely crafted biological machine. That is top tier willpower and I am inspired.
Thanks Ross! I'm actually headed to the garage right now for some rope and speedbag so this video just got me amped!Right on time ! Cheers!
I don't comment often, but this, may man, is pretty freakin' awesome. Well done (always better than well said)...thanks for posting this.
highly motivating video, you train like a warrior from the days of spartans. awsome!
Amazing video, This video should be play continuously in all the gyms.
Another awesome video. You have some great ideas and come up with some wild shit. I try to add some of your training into my workouts. Keep up the great work. Your inspire alot of people.
Great video. I loved the pullups with the weighted belt. That used to be my challenge at the gym. Thanks for the inspiration!
Very impressive and inspiring video Ross, thanks and keep it up!
I've been training for over 20 years. It's a gradual process, particularly when you begin to target new/different goals.
I've never really gotten into it personally, although my son has done gymnastics for 4 years. I enjoy it based on his involvement.
amazingly strong, pound for pound the strongest man ive ever seen
the pressing strength........mind = completely beyond blown

This is one of my favourite training videos. Your training looks fun and exciting, you are strong as f*ck, and your garage gym looks awesome!

Hardcore mate...i'll be back in the new year to grab some of them techniques off you..thanks for sharing....
One of the most complete athletes.Your book,"Never Gymless" is like a Bible to me...
Pardon my French, but you're a fucking BEAST. I have a long way to go to get to your level, but with your tutorials and homemade equipment tips I can honestly say I out perform all my peers with gym memberships and fancy equipment. I just want to say thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for the ongoing support!
You should consider doing videos more often.. all are impressive and we all enjoy them
Ross has gone BEAST.
Awesome, Ross... So inspiring.

Hey Bro, hope you are doing great! Your fans miss your great uploads.... hope to see more from you!
very impressed with seeing someone with so many strengths. have you ever got into gymnastic strength holds like levers, planche, etc?
Holy shit. Puts Rocky's training montages to shame!
