    Keano worked his way up to become the highest earner at Utd. He stayed there for a number of years as the biggest earner….Not one person couldn’t say he didn’t deserve it as the captain and leader he was.
    I think this is a cultural problem and a generational issue…. The main problem is being given stupid money without the credentials to back it up.
    Also he’s clearly surrounded himself with people that will continually blow smoke up his arse. As a 45yr old I know he will regret this decisions down the track. I wish him all the best but for me he checked out a while ago…
    The hype around the kid it also astonishing. He won’t be remembered in the same league as these lads sat around the table…. Sad really as I think he couldn’t been a future legend.

    People need to remember that Ralf Rangnick had this same view/opinion of Rashford and as such he wanted him sold but the club told him no. Rangnick's job was not to only steady the ship due to the bad performances they had been having but also to give his assessment of where the club is and what needs to be done to get them back to where they once were, the top of the league. The problem was the owners and board of directors did not like the assessment Rangnick gave them. He wanted Rashford gone, got told no, he wanted Antony gone, he was told no. Then Rangnick goes to the media and tells them how bad things are at United and he is told to go.
    For years United fans had been calling out for a manager to take the players by the scruff of the necks and drill some managerial sense into them because for way too long many of the players had been allowed to put in bad or diabolical performances and yet the club would not sell them. Eventually a manager comes in and wants these bad performing players gone and the club says no.
    The ONLY reason why the club is looking at letting Rashford go is because of his age. If Rashford was a few years younger there is no way the club would allow ANY United manager to sell Rashford.

    Dude I watched the lastest training session video released on the Man united channel and we saw Marcus rashford couldn't even make a complete pass wasn't really taking it serious😢 or having fun , other players were tuned in but it looked like rashford's head was elsewhere , he should be head down chest up and trying to get his place back , maybe he should get off internet for a start focus on the football , he shouldn't forget that it's football that is actually bringing in the money he is using to do all these great things and he is good at playing football he should just focus on football... I like what amorim is doing putting players up for sale and see who takes the bait ,You get to know players who really want to play for the club and that's what Manchester United needs. Players playing for the badge .

    Marcus Rashford when he signed that huge contract was supposed to be a leader in the Club. He got that contract after 1 very good year. He’s scored 38% of his PL goals in 2 of his 10 seasons. He averages about 6.75 PL goals in his other 8 seasons. His total 10 year PL goal average is less than 9 per season. The top 6 PL goal scorers this year have already scored between 14 and 19 PL goals.

  • @amgmusicsl
    @amgmusicsl 7 дней назад +26

    Marcus’ best season was with CR7. He scored 30. We all know CR7s worth ethic. I believe had ETH kept his ego in check Man U would have finished the season higher and probably played on the Champions league. However CR7 left and everything was downhill since then. CR7 brought leadership. Cristiano created chances and took attention and this mapped scoring lanes for Rashford. Had ETH left things as they were and played CR7 and let Marcus run behind him, the current squad would have been in the top 6/7.
    Amorim can use Rashford or find a way to get him firing again. Ruud had the players amped during his short interim lead. The two forward have 3 goals in the last few months. Ruud is a players coach and I think Marcus needs a players coach to spark.
    Wishing all sides good luck

      I don't know if I misunderstood you but Amorim is a players coach all the way too. In Sporting he kept playing a player that was "hated" like harry maguire was at United called Ricardo Esgaio, RWB. That same player eventually became pretty solid and Amorim gave face again and again to protect that player at Sporting many times from press and fans. This is just an actual case of Rashford being genuienly arrogant and full of himself. Just look at garnacho's case in comparison. Got the same treatment and now he's starting every game and playing very well. Sad because we could really use Rashford, but he simply is not willing clearly.

    • @amgmusicsl
      @amgmusicsl 6 дней назад

      @ I do agree with some of what you are saying. Rashford isn’t pulling his weight and it shows in games. However, the two times he played for Amorim he scored two goals. In leadership, you have to be able to work with all the tools you have to get the results you need. Some tools could be sharp and other blunt but they all have a purpose. With Esgaio, Ruben probably saw something in him that he needed. The same approach must be brought to Man U and for all the players. Ruud has that ability with the lads. You cannot apply a single stroke/brush across as all the players have different personalities. But Honestly though, Rashford is the most senior player on that squad and I expected much more from him. While we cannot use Garnarcho to compare to Rashford, as Marcus has earned his stripes times over, I feel as though Ruben is adopting the same approach ETH did with CR7 to show who is boss and that’s one of the reasons the squad is where it is today. I believe he should have kept Ruud for a month or two to understand the mechanics and inner workings. But hey, he is the coach and he has his personnel to blame if shit doesn’t work. He isn’t even willing to tweak his approach. Every opposition knows your plan A. However where is the plan B and C? That’s a massive flaw to me. Yes you have a system and mindset but opposing teams postures should sometimes requires slight tinkering with your regular structure. Wishing both good luck - I knew Amorim was going to gutt the coaching personnel as well as the current squad.
      Marcus has checked out on Ruben and vice versa. He can score 1000 goals in practice and will still not play. Ruben wants Marcus home to get some needed $$ from his boys from heaven. I have a funny feeling Man U will still be between 5-10 regardless. Only a few players have bought into his psyche. Ruud had the entire squad for a short while there.

    • @amgmusicsl
      @amgmusicsl 6 дней назад

      @@roeshanreddy4012 Ronaldo is partly the reason for Rashford’s success. ETH didn’t see that. High press, high press and nothing changed after CR7 left. Gave him all the $$$$ and nothing changed. Starting to see Amorim go down the same pathway. The Aston Villa coach basically brought the team from close to relegation to where they are today using almost the same personnel Gerrard had then. Amorim must realize this is the EPL. A static system cannot work. One must have a system but must also be willing to tweak some depending on opposing personnel so as to have a plan B and C. But alas, “ I don’t change. It’s my system and I don’t change it”. What’s the definition of insanity again? This is Man U, the fans will turn their backs if you do not produce. Thus far the team is in the saaaame position where ETH left ‘em. Management should have kept Ruud until the end of the season then bring Ruben.

    Hi from Spain. You summarised Marcus Rashford's situation at the end...18 managers....and none of them have been tough or good enough to manage the club or him, making sure he performed to the best of his outstanding talent. The problems at Manchester United are deep rooted, they have basically not signed top class players and overpaid the ones they have recruited. My sincere hope is he ends up at Real Madrid with other world class players who would make sure he gets the type of support and opportunities on the pitch, deep down Rashford is a great talent and I hope he proves his ability away from a club that has been miss managed from the top down for over a decade. I enjoyed your presentation, John.

    11:00 back in those days, Rashford was a young player who was having fun with his teammates and producing on the pitch.
    Even though the team wasn't great, they were good and Rashford was winning us games, at points almost single handedly.
    Nowadays he probably feels really flat. He's had years of accepting failure and bad form from the team and himself. He's bound to miss the vibes he had with Jesse and Pogba, etc and maybe he's lost the enjoyment of his game. He might have taken being dropped from the England team badly as well, and he might not be in a good place psychologically, and feel he needs a change.

This attitude is similar to what ronaldo said during his interview .

    i'll put the blame on the return of Paul Pogba - his attitude corrupted the likes of Rashford and Lingard, the way they got up to silly nonsense for goal celebrations.
    there was a reason Sir Alex sold him - he must've seen the player *character* - and despite the gifted talents he had, it was his *attitude* that was the unacceptable trait.
    (i always remember thinking Pogba was more like Paul Ince ("big-time Charlie") than Paul Scholes as a midfield player)
    why do you think workhorses like Darren Fletcher and Park Ji-Sung were so valued at United (by SAF)
    i really would like to ask Amorim if he would have preferred to keep McTominay because he seems like the type that could pair up (or swap) with Ugarte for his team archetype.

Rashford is a grown lad who has had the likes of Zlatan, Rooney, Matic, CR7, Cavani, Casemiro and Varane to learn from and he hasn’t learned anything. The truth is he was never that good to begin with.

      Pogba actually contributed in alot of games until he reached his no give af stage, rashford brings nothing to any high tier team barring united, do you think he'd even make the youth squad in city? Hell no😂..and not forgetting Pogba won a Bloody World cup.

      @thebizness5596 i never said he was a bad *player*.
      it's like Mbappe, all these wonderkids make it big then lose their drive for the glamour and fame. i wonder if SAF could've "controlled" CR7 growing up in this Twitter/IG/YT era.

    • @binsarm9026

      @SameerKhan-nf3no hah, won a World Cup like that makes him instantly legend?
      he's nowhere made the impact that the likes of Ryan Giggs or Paul Scholes did for much longer
      I'm sure SAF read his character had the latent "no go give af" stage

      @ rashford is not being lazy , he clearly isn’t part of the manager plans. There’s reports saying he’s doing double sessions of training and he’s lazy? How?
      We should back the manager and as a portuguese individual following Amorim since he started he deserves to be backed by all of us . But we need to think . Specially people like rooney and Keane that were professionals at United and know what it takes to be an United player

    Gary Neville’s comments got brushed aside but I totally agree with him, I wouldn’t trust this club as far as I could throw them. They want Rashford out so they’ll come out about all sorts about him knowing fickle fans take the crap they come out with. Let’s hear Rashfords side before we cast judgment.

    • @Key-j5o
      @Key-j5o 7 дней назад +1

      I kind of agree, but the noise has come from the manager, not the club. Mourinho said similar years ago. Being an academy lad, I defended him right up until he did that interview a few weeks ago; when he did that, I was done. Would Amorim make it up to get him out? Unlikely. I guess we will never know how he trains, but his laziness in games was there for everyone to see. It was exaggerated, yes, because a lot of attacking players are similar. I think the fans have been harsh on him, but a lot of it is also warranted.

      @@adamgrimsley2900 okay! Let’s just say you are a professional footballer that has represented your nation and club at the highest level of football. And then you are seen in public by parents of Academy players training alone on the same pitch then it’s pretty shameful.
      No first team players would ever be made the train in such environments, especially at a club as well renowned worldwide as United.
      Brass tax!
      The manager has called him out publicly for not training to the maximum and someone with any kind self respect would rather be shot publicly and called out for not training properly.
      You will always get players who are traditionally not great trainers, but equally they will go when the game on the weekend!
      Price of doing business I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️ look into JT talking about Eden Hazard

      350k a week player throwing a temper tantrum because literally everyone from the fan base to the manager is calling him out on his BS. He doesn’t try hard enough. You can’t do that at United. You can not perform, you can lose games but we have a standard at United that you have to try your a$$ off every time you step onto the pitch. And so instead of fixing up his attitude he’s seen training alone on some academy pitch instead of training with his team and showing them he’s changed ways. Disgraceful. I want him gone ASAP.
