    I miss some grammar content in Pimsler. Especially about the Russian cases. We simply don't notice when the variations are being used.

    Thanks! After poking around the course, how fluent do you think you could get with just the five levels in the Russian course? And how do you learn the cryllic alphabet with just audio lessons?

      Probably B2 with full course completion. They have special writing lessons for cryllic in the reinforcement drills. That said, it's clearly more geared towards speaking/listening comprehension.

    do you think Pimsleur is good for learning more casual Russian? i don't need to read and write, just talk with my wife's family

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, perfect for that as Pimsleur focuses on speaking/listening comprehension with their audio lessons.

    Do you recommend pimsleur over rosetta stone?

    • @TestPrepInsight
      @TestPrepInsight  10 месяцев назад

      They are so different in their approaches it is kind of hard to recommend one over the other. It all depends on what type of learner you are. Pimsleur focuses on audio lessons, while Rosetta Stone relies on pictures and video (i.e. for visual learners). They are both very good in my opinion, but just different.
