      Is that a mlok rail on bottom that you added to put your bipod on? I ordered a Harrison bipod with mlok and I attached it to gun but I couldn’t attach it to the front. I had to attach behind the swivel mount even with swivel mount removed. I might need to move bipod up forward and need a rail to attach to mlok underneath gun.

    Nice rifle Big J. I feel the same about rifles and handguns in 22LR. It’s the reason why I have pile of rifles in .22 and a few handguns in .22. Also I have purchased from the Magshack a few times now with your code. They are good folk. Good stuff as always stay safe.

    The act of deliberately having to cycle the action to chamber each round, in my opinion helps slow things down and go through your basic mechanics of shooting...vs a semi auto where you can slap rounds down range without thinking

    What size groups you getting? What ammo does it like?
    I was between this and the Tikka Tx1. I went with the Tikka with a PA 3-18x for my first 22lr bolt gun and love it so far. Butter smooth. 2 lb factory trigger is crisp. 1 MoA accuracy (with me being the limiting factor, not the gun). All I really did was buy their $20 factory vertical grip and a $20 amazon bipod. No sense in spending more for a 22lr relaxation device.

    • @BigJohnsonGG
      @BigJohnsonGG  4 года назад +1

      I have posted many groups up on my Instagram. 5 shot at 50 yards smaller than a quarter & some all touching with non match ammo. It’s more accurate than me. I wanted a chassis set up & been eyeing this one since shot show, so I waited & had my name on one, glad I grabbed it. Thanks for Watching, Carry On

    • @jamesmccansh3168

      Savage rimfires are made in Lakefield Ontario Canada. MDT makes some Chassis in the US, but they're based in Chilliwack BC Canada. So most likely this rifle is all Canadian.

    • @D70340
      @D70340 2 года назад

      No, it is NOT better than a CZ, not even close, nore is the savage even as good as the Ruger Precision. If you don`t believe it, go to a local gun shop, run the bolts on all 3 guns. You`ll find out real quick how shiddy a Savage gun really is. The CZ`s are not even in the same league as a the savage OR the ruger. Every savage gun i`ve ever picked up, was just mass produced junk. First one i checked out, the bolt was jammed. The second one i picked up off the rack, you couldn`t hardly get the bolt to cycle. At least ruger put the safety in the right spot. The ruger`s all cycled very decent, hard, but decent. The CZ`s, cycled like butter, every one of them. Money vs quality, the CZ wins hands down all day every day. Not to mention, a gazillion times alot more accurate than a savage or a ruger. Yup, CZ costs more, but there`s a damn good reason for it! Buy once, cry once. Savage & Ruger, cry 24/7 nonstop.
