Hannah Louise Poston Hi Hannah, I actually found your channel through a shoutout from Melissa, so it’s lovely to see you following and commenting on her content. Love you both!!!💖💖💖
That asymmetric top was my favorite. That color blue was really lovely. I had a friend send me some socks from South Korea like two years ago and they are truly the best socks I have ever had. They're still as soft and nice as the day I got them. I have truly considered planning a trip to South Korea just so I can get some more socks. Now you made me want to go to Japan to get socks.
I absolutely love these fashion hauls. I don’t like clothing hauls in general but this brand is so amazing and looks incredible on you. I love seeing these pieces!
Thank you! I'm not usually one for clothing hauls too as I feel a little disconnected to what's on trend and fast fashion brands I see all the time on YT like Fashion Nova. A lot of it is just not for me!
Hi Melissa, I went to buy one of the jumpsuits but looked up 41000 yen to Australian dollars and it is $540 aud! Looks beautiful on you and if I had the money I would purchase. I intend looking at his more reasonably priced garments and see if I can find something I can afford. The designs are stunning. I love your videos. Your taste, conversation and purchases are so interesting to me. Love ❤️❤️❤️X
I know!! It's definitely a treat for me as I don't often buy clothes as they're more of an investment. I also thrift a lot of my pleats on eBay/vintage stores (sometimes you can get a good price - some of my favourite pieces I wear daily I got for less than $50-100 which is a pretty good buy considering RPP). Also if you're ever in Japan, near Mt. Fuji there is an outlet in Gotemba that is worth checking out where they sell older stock. Thank you for watching dear ❤️
Melissa Gold great to hear that! I've got into pleats please about a year ago. Already own 5 pieses and want to add more coming spring. Next will be bao bao bag and me series. Will love to see how other fans are studying the pieces!
I loved this haul, thank you for sharing! I was just in Japan last month and afraid I didn't pick up any clothing (just tons of skincare and makeup lol). Hopefully next time I'll have a chance to check out some of the Issey Miyaki brands. PS - your makeup in this vid is lovely.
Debby Chen i just bought my first issey miyake pleats trousers for $40 in a thrift store here in japan 😬 i didnt know much about the designer/brand when i got it. i thought it was too expensive being in the thrift but i really like how it fits. makes my legs look slim for some reason.
Such an incredible eye look! I really want to recreate it, but with my hooded eyes and non-existent lid space, it will be difficult xD. Honestly, socks as a gift is an awesome thing! I love getting socks! Those triangle bags are such unique pieces to spice up the whole outfit! Love the fact that you can wear everything during and after pregnancy.
Thank you so much! It would look beautiful on hooded eyes - actually I was inspired by Sam from Pixiwoo's "shimmering butterfly eyes" that she uploaded 2 months ago and she has gorgeous hooded eyes 😄 I filmed this about a month ago and since then my belly has grown even more so some cannot fit anymore but can still wear the majority which is helpful 😊
@@melissagold2559 Thank you, I will check that video out! Earlier, I totally tried using brown eyeshadow and then swiped over some crazy colourful green highlighter I wouldn't otherwise use and it worked quite nicely :D, albeit not the ideal. Oh, that's sweet. Well, even so, the majority of them, so that's great! Hopefully, you will do more hauls like this, they are great!
When I went to Japan at the end of last year I went to pleats please after watching your last video showing what you picked up from there! The prices were a bit out of my range at the time but I definitely want to go back and get some at some stage. Definitely before I get pregnant, they look amazing on you with your bump :D I like the style of these brands so much, as the focus is more on the structure of the piece rather than showcasing the body underneath in my opinion which is perfect for me. Thanks for showcasing your Issey Miyake stuff, I'd never seen it elsewhere and I love it :)
I'm so glad you got a chance to go there! If you go back, highly recommend going to the outlet in Gotemba (if you make a trip to Mt. Fuji!) as they sell pieces from older seasons at a reduced price. You can also ask for a membership card when shopping at the Issey stores as you can get credit which can be used for future purchases :-) I agree - I love that they're like pieces of art that are still practical and wearable.
excellent timing, Thanks Mel 😙🐨🕊 So glad you showed us the socks, In the 1980's my mum would come back from Hong Kong with the most beautiful socks for my sister and I. The quality in Hong Kong was amazing then, I don't know what it's like now.🤔 Jumpsuits look great on you ❤ Wow love everything you bought 🌺🌹🌺
I’m looking at possibly buying a T-shawl from pleats please so i’ve been watching your videos to see if thats really going to be my first Issey piece :) love your channel so far!
I've got two and I'm not very good at wearing them to be honest! It ends up looking a bit strange on me - maybe because I'm short. I think I'll need more practice!
I completely forgot it is winter in Australia hahahahaha it is so hot in India. I am going to share your video with you loving socks with everyone haha, just bcoz it made me so happy. All the love 😃
Winter officially starts this weekend but it's already sooooo arctic here. Down to single digits already ❄ Still I think I fair better in the cold than the heat!! Aww thank you 😘
100% get it about the pants in the bathroom, I DO NOT want my pants touching the bathroom floor! Yuck! 😂 I'm considering a black Pleats Please dress for a semi-formal event, do you think the fabric is too casual, or could it work for a dressy occasion? I love everything you reviewed, thanks for sharing! So elegant and chic!
Haha yes so true! And yes, definitely can be worn to a semi-formal event. I would just dress it up with accessories, heels, a clutch bag to make it dressier. The good thing about them is I find I can wear pleats both casually and dressed up!
Love your style! 👌🏼😃 I'm 1.60 m too. I would love to shop and find clothes that fit length wise, that would be awesome lol 😅 And look at your belly wow! Looking gorgeous ❤
Thank you! Haha, it's getting soo big, I'm surprised I can still fit my clothes. I remember being about this big when I was full term with Joey. They say the second one is usually bigger!!
Unfortunately I can only find it on the Beams website which only ships within Japan so I think it might be difficult to procure from outside the country unless you use a shipping forwarder.
Thank you for replying😍 I tried browsing at the Beams website and they don’t have that exact triangle bag..they have the fabric kind..😔 Also, the website is in japanese..there’s no way i can read and purchase it😢 Oh well..Thank you for taking the time to answer my inquiry😍
Can do! I was actually inspired by Pixiwoo who did a "shimmering butterfly eyes" look a few months ago using products I had. Probably one of my favourites to date 😊
Hello! I need an advise for IM pleats please...how to get rid of wrinkles from folding? I got a second hand skirt and it was shipped to me, but it has those signs and I don't manage to restore it...😢 thanks!
@psycobetsy I would wear it a few times then hand wash and air dry and see if that gets it out. I also had ones with crinkles when I stored folded. Definitely better to hang up (I use the non slip hangers)
Just on a clothes horse but my mum told me (to my horror!!) that she puts them in the dryer on delicate spin in her Miele dryer.. I still prefer to air dry mine. They dry very quickly anyway!
I really enjoy your Japan videos! Your choice in clothing is so interesting, it's really inspiring !
Thank you! 😘
LOVED this!!!!

Good to hear of the outlet. My daughter wants me to go to Japan next year so I will keep it in mind.💜
These pieces look so stunning and beautiful on you! 😭
I really like that bag too! Really unique.
Thank you! 😘
Love your style and everything you picked up! 💕😘
Thank you 😘
That mustard shade is gorgeous! I love getting socks as present lol
I ended up giving away that pair to my mother in law as I know she likes that kind of colour.. wish I had picked up more!!
Please do Issey Miyake collection!! I love to see all the pieces you own. Also I will love to see how you style them!
I'm planning to film more with my Issey pieces so stay tuned :-)

So beautiful. I'm in Japan once a month or so, but I still haven't tried any Issey Miyake. Definitely going next time, I love how it looks on you!

Love the last dress you showed!
