Nice spot. Was down in the lakes last year for a week just for a family holiday. Been planning on going back for a camp. Probably to Buttermere area as it was my favorite area visited while there. I have some of those magnets for the doors and they're great. My pet hate is flappy saggy doors 😄. Just watching the Gordie wild campers latest video. Hopefully he can keep it going 🤞. It must be the new thing for You Tube campers having meltdowns. 😄
I’ve not got it watched yet so I’ll interested to see what he has to say. I love the Buttermere area, was gonna go up on one the peaks there but it was Steven that suggested pillar. When we gonna get out a camp btw?
@@Moffatmountainadventures Hopefully soon. I've got four days left at work then off for 20 😁. Got a family holiday in skye for a week on the 22nd. Planning on trying to sneak away for a day and do Bla Bheinn and/or a quick overnight on something like Beinn Na Cro if the weather plays ball 🤞but free for the rest. Should also have another twelve days of around the start of August. I usually like to try and do a two nighter when Iam of then.

Nice one Robert. I summit camped Piller a few years ago. It’s a lovely pitch with fabulous views. Btw, Pillar Rock is a rock climb to the summit 😬👀. Great to see you out with Steven too. ATB 👍
Was definitely one of my favourites from the lakes so far. Having the scafells as the background was just class. I found a video of pillar rock via Andrew foster when I got home and yeah, I’m so glad I didn’t risk that on my own with that pack. Lovely guy, could chat all night with him. You definitely need to catch up with him. Cheers for watching, hope you enjoyed the holiday btw 😊
