Dungey returned for outdoors, insane tomac vs sexton battle week after week, the lawrence brothers battling, joe shimoda and anderson in the 250, malcom stewart returning at unadilla along with wilson, adam ciancirulo returning at the start of sx, haiden deegan coming into pros for at the end of this outdoor season. I could name so much more. Lmao

When I was a kid I always wonder and dreams what it is like being a rider. Now that dream has been fulfilled thanks to gopro and RUclips.

Its really a short span sport. Probably one of the shortest. The impact on the body in take even over a year is hard man. It was worth it though
@@ccmc5188 it's about conditioning and training. A year later Tomac is on the verge to winning his second sx title and he's 29 and not looking foward toward retirement. Tomac is breaking the Age Expectancy as he won the Record breaking 5 Daytona wins as he sits at 6 wins.
I love how you can see just how badly rutted the track gets on the GoPro videos. Really shows how difficult it gets to be consistently fast.
You can actually see him working that clutch, awesome!!!
And it’s a cable clutch not a hydraulic like everyone else runs these days

That pass on Barcia... He had the most insane passes and stick them, it looks insane on TV I remember my dad and I watching live couldnt believe what was actually possible to do on a dirt bike. For me, the Greatest of all time, RV2.

Kenny is great, no doubt, but he'd be runner-up to Villopoto his whole career if RV wanted it to be so. Smart to retire healthy and loaded like RC.

Is it me, or does the older GoPro footage have less of a “GoPro effect”. The jumps actually look massive and the lack of stabilization gives a better feel for how rough the course actually is. Right? The new cameras are just so good that it doesn’t do the riding justice.

It's cool watching the shadow on the floor, seeing what he does whit the bike and his body
I have noticed in a good amount of videos that they rev the bike really hard while in the air.What is this for?is it took keep the revs high in the gear they are in.Please explain doesnt sound good
They rev the bike to keep it at a certain level in the air. For example if a guy hits a jump and the front tire goes really high up a lot higher then the rear tire then the rider can pull in his clutch so he doesnt stall and tap the rear break the momentum of the rear tire when it stops spinning compresses the suspension lowering the front. Now vice versa when they rev the bikes, If they jump and the rear tire gets kicked up a lot higher then the front the rider will rev the bike to bring the front tire up.

There are varying reasons. One being that 4 strokes have engine braking keeping the revs up keeps the front end level. If you were to let off the gas completely it will drop. The rear wheel and tire act as a gyro. Also that gyro can stiffen the suspension upon landing if the engine is revved higher. Basically giving a bike gas in the air will keep the front end level or raise it some. Letting off the gas will drop the front end.
Not only that but he was doing whips almost every jump and you rev the bike to help straighten yourself

2019, they dont ride this fast anymore when villopoto was riding it was the most competitive time, there was him, dungey, stewart, tomac, canard, roczen, reed back then tomac and roczen had a hard time even winning a race because the level of competition was so high
They ride faster these days. Just because tomac and roczen wernt winning doesnt mean they dont ride as fast these days. Roczen and tomac wernt as fast back then.
Musta not been very big on his fans all those kids and whatnot reaching out IDC how good u are.... every event give it to the fans because without them u dont keep doing what u do

Couldn't agree more. When I think of James Stewart, I think of the guy on the KX125 dominating the east? Or west,I don't remember what series. But he was on his Team Chevrolet Pro Circuit Kawasaki KX125, I saw him at Broome Tioga I think in 2003, sometime in the early 2000's and he was the only 125 hitting this 90FT Downhill Triple that was basically out of a turn. And he was scrubbing this step down and his back wheel was practically hitting the tree branches. That's the Stewart I remember.

Ryan os the only reason why I like kawasaki and when I got my first dirt bike game he is the only person I used and he is the reason I ride dirt bikes now
