      @@itsJPhere Friend, you have the gift of free will to believe whatever you want. But I wanna tell you something - If you wanna know the Truth and honestly ask the One you don't believe in, and humble yourself, God may reveal to you. Remember, The Almighty created you for His purpose, He knows you better than you can ever know yourself, He knows your heart, He knows your destiny before He created the universe, and He is in no way dependent on it or us anything out of Himself, therefore God will give you the Truth when He wants to. If you are ready to recieve, He has no problem give you. God loves His people. He doesn't want anyone condemned in hell. He didn't made hell for us. It's for Satan and his angels to be punished and tormented for eternity. NOT FOR HIS CHILDREN! Jesus payed for all sin of the world! Do you think God has pleasure condemning any of His children?! It is ridiculous..
      He loves you that much more that He rather died for you on a wooden cross, rejected, mocjed, humiliated, lowered Himself to a human being separated from the Father in heaven, tortured horrible mental physical, spiritual suffering from the same ones that He gave His life for?
      Jesus died from a broken hearth, because everyone abandoned Him. He was the loneliest person ever walked on earth. But do you know what broke His heart? It was that when He, Who knew no sin became sin for us, and looked up to His Father, the Heavenly Father turned away and poured up His FULL HOLY WRATH on His only begotten Son and it pleases Him, because His righteousness was satisfied, the law was fulfilled and the sin debt was payed! He sent Him in this world for that reason! It was finished! Jesus came to die for us and that was the only possibility for us to be forgiven now! He loves you that much, because He did all this to provide you a way to be with Him forever and not send you to hell!
      God loves you, but He is righteous also. He wants you to be saved, but He won't force you to be with Him if you don't want to. Actually He gave us free will to chose if we go with Him or we don't. He gave Satan the same free will. And the one thing you should know God WILL EVER do, is breaking His own laws. That's His character, nature! He is just! No exceptions.
      So.. you can prove the Bible is 100% correct and find evidence if you investigate and many many sceptics did that, but they found it's infallible, because most of the time they tried to disprove it and in the end got saved by grace through faith!
      The resurrection of Jesus you can't prove.. And if the resurrection didn't happened, nothing else matters! Search for truth, desire it, humble and realize that the moment you are ready, God does everything! Trust and He will show you. And then you will know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free! Jesus IS the way, the truth and the light and when you know Him, He sets you free!
      Not me, or anyone else. I am just trying to point you the direction to Him. Nothing more, nothing less. Only God gives wisdom, knowledge and truth. Only God can reveals Himself to anyone!
      God bless you and your family!

But nothing on this earth will truly fill our souls the way Christ does. Contrary to what Frank says, "tolerance" is not a universal tolerance of any viewpoint. If a person makes blatantly racist or for that matter anti-gay statements, I do not feel any obligation to be tolerant of that viewpoint. I do believe the person has the right to his opinion and has the right to live in society in any manner he chooses just so long as his actions do not infringe on the rights of others. A person has the right to state he wants others (gays, persons of other ethnicities, etc.) to be denied human rights. However, that is a bigoted mentality.

    • @Yesica1993
      @Yesica1993 5 лет назад +8

      First of all, why equate sexual behaviors with ethnicity/skin color? One is an immutable trait. The other is not. I'll leave you to discern which is which.
      Second, there are no human rights being denied to homosexuals in America. They are free to openly live as they choose. No one stops them. No one is advocating for stopping them. Contrast that with other countries (ex: Iran) where they are openly murdered. It's ridiculous to compare these two situations. And it's insulting to the poor souls who are thrown off buildings, tossed in pits, hanged from cranes and who knows what other horrors.
      As a side note, funny how I've not heard of any Muslim business owners being sued by homosexuals for declining to bake a cake, provide flowers, or photograph their wedding ceremonies, because it would conflict with their religious beliefs. Why is that?
      Disagreeing with homosexuality (or the rest of the ever-increasing alphabet acronym) is not bigoted. There's nothing bigoted about disagreeing with lifestyles that go against biology itself and that end up being physically & psychologically destructive.
      If disagreement is bigoted, then are you not also bigoted for disagreeing with me?

    • @timjansen7694
      @timjansen7694 5 лет назад +2

      @Yesica1993 Well, you strawmanned my comment either intentionally, or not. When I speak of human rights, I am referring to all human rights, including the right for two adults to marry each other.
      As for lawsuits and Muslims, I don't know what you are talking about.
      Disagreeing with homosexual lifestyles is not bigotry. What is a bigoted mentality is believing gays should be denied rights based of their gender preference.

    • @copycalico
      @copycalico 5 лет назад

      @@Yesica1993 Being homosexual isn't a choice, this happens outside of a persons intention and while you said that it isn't immutable it's not that easy. Sometimes a sexuality can change but it doesn't work as easily for some people as it does for some others. For people with no attraction to the opposite sex whatsoever a process like this can be difficult, expensive and might not even work at all. So while it is not 100% on par with ethnicity and skin color it is very close. (also skin color can technically change, just not very well. Ever heard of tanning?)
      Members of the LGBT community in the US can, by law, live as they choose, yes. However, many of them are practically being terrorized by Christians for "acting against god" many are being disowned by their parents and some even receive death threats. But aside from the extreme Christians there are also people like the woman in this video, who still tolerate homosexuals but just disagree with them. The way she was acting based on what she said was completely ok. I don't think she should be forced to attend anything that promotes things she doesn't agree with. However, I have a problem with Frank's suggestion. Telling members of the LGBT community that they are harming others and themselves and reminding them that you believe they might go to hell for this can lead to serious mental health issues for them. I understand that in your opinion you think you are helping them but this is just your opinion and I think it should really be up to the people affected. If what you were saying was true, meaning that they really are harming others and themselves this would be a different story, but it isn't proven to be true.
      To my knowledge, there aren't any objective standards that say homosexuality is wrong (no, Christianity, the Bible or God are not objective standards, they are an unproven claim. Also even God was undeniably real, him just saying "homosexuality is wrong" still doesn't make for an objective standard, that's just God's opinion.)

"Two consenting adults" is used to justify fornication and whatever sexual immorality/perversion that works with that. But as you move on and become more depraved and start getting desensitized to let's say pederasty, you come up with a different reasoning to justify that - "Teenagers are smart enough to make their own choices". And on.
      Are you going to use "two consenting adults" reasoning to justify incest? A mom and a son? Why don't you apply that there? Oh how inconsistent. The reason why you don't apply that there (for now) is because you haven't been desensitized to incest (yet). (Like people weren't desensitized enough in 1990 with homosexuality) But once you've gotten desensitized enough (that depraved - like you are with other sexual perversions now) you'll start using that reasoning. Which proves that like I said people will come up with whatever reasoning to justify anything. Like you're doing now. Repent now when you have the chance. Once you die, you won't have any chance for all eternity. All those that were living justifying pederasty in the Greco Roman world right now have been in hell the past 1800 years. Wrong. Christians are the ones making incredibly specific supernatural claims about morality, how the universe was created, and even about history and they use these claims to brainwash people - including children - into believing those unsubstantiated ideas. If atheists are to be correct in their assertion that there is no god, where exactly are they supposed to find evidence for something that doesn't exist? The idea that the two share the same burden of proof is completely nonsensical.
      Good for you btw that you can find arguments on the internet that validate your worldview. You act as if you couldn't do the exact same for any other completely irrational position. I've listened to a lot of the arguments, and they're always disingenuous because the atheist is typically charitable enough to where instead of asking for proof of a specific idea of god (like christianity for example, which get more and more absurd with just how specific the claims get) the expectation is usually for them to prove the existence of god by even the utmost vaguest concept and they never can. It's always some form of circular reasoning, special pleading, ad hoc, and irrelevant appeals to emotion which actually have nothing to do about the viability of a god existing. And you know, the thing is I don't even take issue with the idea of god by the utmost vague definition, because that in its self doesn't make assertions about morality in how people should live their lives, nor does it make any claims that are used to undermine science.

    • @jbish3721
      @jbish3721 3 года назад

      Once again, theists are not bound to the burden of proof regarding these particular subjects. Those who appeal to purely naturalistic processes as the origin of naturalistic processes (atheists) clearly argue with circularity. X (time, space, matter) cannot be the source of X, logically speaking. Logic is on the theist's side with regard to this point. The conversation gets much, much deeper, of course, but it doesn't take long to see the fallacious basis of some of the atheists' arguments.
      Additionally morality cannot be rationally defended in an atheistic, materialistic worldview. Meaningful laws can only come from an objective law giver. Materialists must necessarily rely on subjectivity and have absolutely no warrant to lean on an objective standard. Perhaps moral "standards" in his worldview can enjoy a majority agreement, but he cannot truly lean on an objective standard. At best, his opinion is just that... his opinion. I'm not bound to one's opinion, unless he is the objective moral law giver that we call God.
      I don't scrub the internet for my data any more than you; I just interpret the data differently. You don't know who I am, nor do you have knowledge of my study habits. Your assumption was errant. I'm sorry that you haven't seen the irrationality of your indefensible position from scholarly debates/ arguments. I'm sure I'm not going to convince you in this case, especially in this feed, nor am I interested in doing so. This is RUclips, not a debate forum. He wasn't saying that, he was saying God is the Law giver and who gives the Law. If you acknowledge it to be the law it doesn't make it his law but since it is the law he is under compulsion to follow it. Like e.g. i might not agree on laws concerning abortion but if a country says it is ok to do so, then i can say it is the country's law even if i hold a different view. In this case frank is agreeing but he is also implying that he didn't make it he just follows it because it is the objective morality. Otherwise it is just based on emotions. Like hitler thought killing Jews was good but i disagree. But that's just my opinion unless i have a standard outside of myself to compare it to. E.g. If i have 2 wonky lines and id have a straight line to compare it to then it is just my opinion and not actually necessarily true. Frank is saying "it isn't my morality its God's" is just trying to say that i didn't make it, God did and if God did then it goes that i should follow it. Otherwise it would be rebellion. If you believe God is real and God is truth, If you disagree with God then you are disagreeing with truth which then makes you a unreasonable creature. Praise God.

The Bible is a book (or 66 if you like--all the more reason to be skeptical that it's "God's Word" when it had so many authors over so much time) that couldn't possibly address all the moral questions in the world. For instance, is God's murder of the entire population (except Noah and family) moral? What about his advocating slaughter for the Israelites in the Old Testament? Is that moral? Is it moral to let your own son die? Would you do that?
      Or if you want to get modern about it, is it moral or immoral to let same-sex couples live the way they feel they should when they're doing no harm?Is it moral to outlaw abortion or is it immoral? Does the baby take precedence or does the mother? The Ten Commandments ask us to "Honor our fathers and mothers." Since so many people take those statements as moral lynchpins, should we honor those folks even if they beat their children, or become drug-addicted, or sell them into slavery of some kind?
      Is Capitalism moral when so many are left behind? Is Communism, when so many suffer?

    TRUE CHRISTIAN LOVE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,by A. W. PINK ******Love is the Queen of the Christian graces*********
    It is a holy disposition given to us when we are born again by God. It is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
    True spiritual love is characterized by meekness and gentleness, yet it is vastly superior to the courtesies and kindnesses of
    the flesh. We must be careful not to confuse human sentimentality, carnal pleasantries, human amiability and affability with
    true spiritual love.
    The love God commands, first to Himself and then to others, is not human love. It is not the indulgent, self-seeking love which is
    in us by nature. If we indulgently allow our children to grow up with little or, no Scriptural discipline, Proverbs plainly says
    we do not love them, regardless of the human sentimentality and affection we may feel for them.
    Love is not a sentimental pampering of one another with a loose indifference as to our walk and obedience before the Lord.
    Glossing over one another's faults to ingratiate ourselves in their esteem is not spiritual love.
    The true nature of Christian love is a righteous principle which seeks the highest good of others.
    It is a powerful desire to promote their welfare. The exercise of love is to be in strict conformity
    to the revealed will of God. We must love in the truth. Truth without love is not truth. Love without truth is not love.
    Love among the brethren is far more than an agreeable society where views are the same. It is loving them for what
    we see of Christ in them, loving them for Christ's sake. The Lord Jesus Himself is our example.
    He was not only thoughtful, gentle, self-sacrificing and patient, but He also corrected His mother, used a whip in the Temple,
    severely scolded His doubting disciples, and denounced hypocrites. True spiritual love is above all faithful to God
    and uncompromising towards all that is evil. We cannot declare, 'Peace and Safety' when in reality
    there is spiritual decay and ruin!
    True spiritual love is very difficult to exercise because it is not our natural love. By nature we would
    rather love sentimentally and engender good feelings. Also many times true spiritual love is not received
    in love, but is hated as the Pharisees hated it. We must pray that God will fill us with His love and
    enable us to exercise it without dissimulation toward all.

      @Joker Praise God. The Bible is not against freedom of speech as far as im aware. Also, God is the one who put the moral law on our hearts. What do you mean, your Conscience is proof that you have a moral law in your heart. Even if things may change your conscience we have a rough moral law in heart and bible reinforces anyone who's conscience has been corrupted or special cases. Praise God.

      @Joker Praise God. LOL. In today's society if you say racist or sexist things it causes punishment too. This is the same with old days in this case. Morals cannot be subjective otherwise what hitler did is not wrong that's just ur opinion. If morals are subjective then if a country supports rape that should be ok. Is what ISIS doing wrong. Yes it is wrong cos morals are objective and no subjective. Praise God.

      @Joker Praise God. No, not neccesarily, God has 2 types of will but One will. He has his permissive will and ordained will. Like ordained could be the Earth's gravitational force remains the same and his permissive will is like letting us sin. If this is the predestination and free will argument. I have a good answer. It's like me borrowing a recording of a football Game. He tells me the score between the two teams is 2 :1. When i watch it i know the results is 2:1 but me knowing didn't force that result. The same with God, God knowing doesn't force that result. You have to understand God is outside of time and the way he sees time is different to us. God sees the past the present and the future in one eternal moment. For him everything has happened,, is happening and will happen in one eternal moment. Thank you for your time. Praise God.

    I very recently either greatly damaged or utterly destroyed my relationship with my cousin because I refuse to tolerate her sleeping with, living with, her not her husband boyfriend. I tell her look, hes is dragging you into sin and you are letting it happen and you profess to be a christian but you commit adultery without a second thought. I love her very much but I simply can not stand by on the side and pretend that I am okay with the fact that she commits adultery like it doesnt matter. I have not heard a word from her since I went to her with my concern. I think she hates me now. But like Jesus said. If the world hates you know that it hated me first. I am completely willing to lose my entire family if that is what it takes to walk in the light with Jesus.

    I'm a christian and have gay friends and have been honest about loving them unconditionally and unbiased. But have mentioned the sin and its repercussion eternally and salvation as a choice in love, then keep praying for them into the kingdom, just like some did me when I was a heathen. Love above all, it is our earmark according the the list of spiritual gift in Ch. 13 of Corinthians "agape" supernatural love which is sacrificial.

    take it from me, I have been with females since I was 16. In 2010 I met my wife, and we got married in 2016. Jane 2017 God shook my life and its going on 4 years. Yes I am still married to her but the changes within marriage is noticeable ... I dont tolerate things that are wrong in our fathers eye, I just deal with my situation as I change and grow. One day I will be a done with it. Sometimes you just got to be real! If that puts distance between you and your family. I still love my friends, but I wont talk them into anything thats not right.

    This is not a boundary. The woman with the question provided a formulation promoting herself the center of answer. In which case, it is never unloving whatever she is. She seems boundless to me. I love her as such. Loving is as simple as us all in a single Holy package. An argument is always personal. A debate is stochastic. Respect for every person on a personal basis is what love is all about. Sexuality is contained exclusively in that package. Be and let be. Amen.
