I got saved in a room by myself. I had no knowledge of who jesus was or who God was. It was strange thinking about it now. Now i know a lot of course, but it's strange that someone could ask me back then, "whos jesus" and I would literally be like, "i actually dont know". I had deaf ears to everything. Anyways, called out, was shown the holy spirit, got filled with pure love, changed my life forever. Long live our King.

🔴 Is to be one with God mean that’s you and God are one God? Let’s read this verses:
      💡 John 17:21 (KJV)
that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
      💡 John 17:11
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[b] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
      💡 John 17:22-23
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity.
🔶Is this oneness makes the 12 disciples One God, the same Glory that Jesus receives from God he shares it and gives it to disciples too.
So the Oneness with God and Sharing the same Glory will makes the Disciples Gods too?
      So they will not be 3 in 1, but (3+12) in 1 ? 🤔
use the same logique, why you select Divinity for Jesus and not for disciples?🤔
🔴When Jesus says, I and My father are one, I say Amen to that, all prophets are one with God, they don’t speak from theirselves. They speak what God ask them to speak and preach.
👉Jesus peace be upon him and God they were one in the purpose

🔶There is an other man (Melchizedek the Priest) in the Bible, who has no beginning and no end, without Father or a Mother and without genealogy. He event meet Abraham. And he wasn’t God.
      ❓Is Jesus has a mother ? Yes
🔆Is Melchizedek has a father or a mother? No
      ❓Is Jesus has genealogy? Yes
🔆Is Melchizedek has a genealogy? No
      💡Hebrews 7:1-3 (Melchizedek the Priest)
This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.
👉 Melchizedek is without beginning of days or end of life, is he God too?

If Christianity was proven to be true, would you want to become a Christian? If the answer is "no" then they have a moral problem, not an intellectual one. Each religion and the followers each religion will tell you that their religions change their life, they will tell you that they are better than before, and that they fell more happy :)
But this is not criteria, the happiness you can find it without religion, it’s depend what the people are searching for. This is objectif.
The only way to know about the religion is to study their teaching, and study their Book.

The Quran gives to us a challenge, the challenge come directly from God almighty.
The Quran has his own challenge if you want to test his authenticity, example :
      💡Quran [4:82] (Surah An-Nisa)
“Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction”
No one until now find any contradiction on the Quran and this is from 1400 years ago :)
And the Quran is one (with 7 Hourouf:recitations) for all Muslims, no change, no adding, no mistakes from the prophet time Muhammad until now.
Some claim that they have found contradiction and mistakes on the Quran. And just because they don’t understand Arabic and they don’t understand the meaning of the word. They base their claim on the traduction of the Quran :)
So if the Quran is without any contradiction, and the teaching of Islam is the continuity of all other prophets, the message is the same.
      - God is One
      - Submition to Only the almighty God

The "99% are hostile to God" statement is absolutely true, and biblically supported, e.g. " 13 For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it," - Matthew 7:13-14. Finding the small gate and narrow road means to foresake oneself, knowing that everything truly is - all about God. Without Christ, we are nothing.

That's not true and that's not what it says and that's not what he said in his response in this video. Paraphrasing what Acts 26 says, is that all those non-believing people who haven't been formally preach the word of the Bible are unsaved and Unworthy of salvation. It is used as an explanation for the believer that clearly knows that it's wrong and unjust to punish somebody for ever for not hearing the gospel. Acts 26 does three things. 1 it relieves the Believers conscience knowing that all those unjustly convicted people deserve it. 2 it reinforces the doctrine of unbelief is punishable by Eternal and everlasting punishment.3 it dehumanizes the "Savages" who haven't heard the good news, so that you good believers can treat them any way you want, to the point of slavery or genocide. Yes, indeed. The people who are so fast to cast others into eternal fire in the name of god, are really no different from the scribes and Pharisees that rejected Jesus because he didn't fit into their box. Sincerity is the key. To truly repent you must be sincere. It does not say in order to repent you must follow every written line perfectly. These people that say you must know the name "Jesus", they don't say "or it's transliterations". Because they don't want you to believe in the entity of god. They want you to worship the Jesus they think is right. Why do they not say you must know the name he was actually born with if it's that important?

@@arcguardian well I guess you're right, you don't have to save a person walking off a cliff, or getting hit by a car, or a burning house fire. But Jesus tought that one should have pity and compassion for ones neighbor. Take the good Samaritan story told by Jesus for example in Luke 10:25-37. The teacher of the law of Moses asked Jesus how he could obtain eternal life. Jesus affirmed two things; to love God with all your heart, strength and soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself. When you do not preach the word of God to others around you (neighbor), you are not loving them as you would your own self. If you aren't attempting to save your neighbor than you clearly do not have love for them like you love yourself. Therefore the person you are responding to isn't brining "man's doctrine" to the table.

The whole point of having to believe in him is because he supposedly died for our sins and if you don't believe in him you can't benefit from his sacrifice. This obviously is a big problem. Why can't anyone just admit this makes no sense? So all the billions of people that came before jesus were somehow saved just by believing in God? Then the obvious question is why can't we do the same thing? Every Muslim and jew who also believe in God should be automatically going to heaven too. I just wish these people doing apologetics would stop giving these nonsensical answers pretending that it makes sense.

Exactly. If it is true that before Christ, man was saved by their simple faith in 'God', but after Christ, the rules suddenly changed and now *only* those who know *Christ alone* are saved, the supposed 'good news' is actually *bad news* for a many millions of people - seemingly overnight.
What the scriptures tell us is that 'faith in Christ' is the only **guaranteed* way to the Father. But it is not the 'only way'. Granted, the work of Christ is still the *only* means by which *anyone* is saved. But for those who never heard the gospel, their faith, humility, and acknowledgement of 'God' is sufficient that they may still be 'beneficiaries' of Christ's atonement. If you are drowning in an ocean and someone reaches his hand in to save you, you don't necessarily need to know his name or anything else about him in order to grab onto him and be pulled to safety. All you have to do is be willing to reach out your hand and acknowledge he's there to help you.

@@N.i.E.M.O My friend, so you are telling me then that the 1.5 billion muslims in this world and the millions of jews who believe in God will be "saved" just like any Christian? I understand you are saying this because this would answer the question and make sense. However, this is not Christianity at all.
Faith in Christ is the only way to be saved because it is only by faith in Christ that we can be counted righteous in God’s sight (Gal. 2:16). It is only by faith in Christ that we can be reconciled to God (Rom. 5:9-11). It is only by faith in Christ that we can receive eternal life (John 3:16). Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Tim. 2:5).
Your analogy to a drowning man makes so much sense but again, this is not christianity. If you don't know the man saving you, you will drown in christianity. You are just strengthening the problem even more

I know this will come as as blasphemous to many, but it's not about adhering to 'Christianity'. It's not about any allegiance to any group of men or self-proclaimed 'church'. What we we seek is the Truth. And the Truth goes beyond any 'religion'.
Christ said he is the only way. This is true. Without his sacrifice, there is no no way for anyone to be washed of their sins. Christ died for humanity - God himself taking on flesh in order to save his prized creation. This is the *Good News* - that the path to salvation lies in humility, selflessness, and the love of God. And how does one express their love for God? By "following (his) commandments". And how does one follow his commandments? By "loving your neighbor as yourself". Because when we do good unto our neighbor, we do good unto Christ, and when we do evil unto our neighbor, we do evil unto Christ.
The scriptures tells us that that only way to be *sure* that we will inherit the kingdom of God is by placing our faith in Christ and following in his ways. But that is the only **assured** way to God. The 'Good News'.
Before Christ, and after Christ, man was judged by what knowledge they were afforded in life and by their humility, their repentance, the content of their heart. We are judged by what we did with what we were given in life - not by what we weren't. God's ways are above our ways - but he has told us that he is a God of love and he is just.
Not all people who inherit eternal life will be 'Christians' ... any more than all self-proclaimed 'Christians' will inherit eternal life. This is not to say that there are 'multiple paths to God'. Not at all. But it is possible that one can be a 'benefactor' of Christ's sacrifice without even knowing his name, so long as they synchronize with his teaching with genuineness, sincerity, and humility in their heart.
The 'Good News' isn't necessarily about 'converting' anyone to 'Christianity' any more than it was about forcing gentiles to adopt Jewish customs. It is about revealing the clear path to salvation. It is revealing the 'mystery', the true God - so no one would have to live in doubt, worshipping a God they want to know, but don't.

This simple answer to this questions is found in Romans 2:12-16.
The short answer: men inherently know right from wrong because God has written it on their conscience. So even if they have never heard of Jesus, God will judge them according to their conscience. Their conscience will either condemn or excuse them. We know that God is fair and just and judges rightly. It’s very rare in our modern day to see a remote group who have never heard the Gospel though.
    Read the following scriptures.
    God's Judgment and the Law
12 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

Without a central tenet to live by, it is easy to become nihilistic. You might call me a religious fictionalist. I am fascinated with Frank’s arguments for morality and disagree wholeheartedly that without god, morality is just an “opinion”. Cosmic Skeptic and Rationality Rules are atheist channels that explores this concept further. I think I watch Frank hoping he’ll convince me of the belief I had for over 40 years - that Jesus was resurrected. What I end up seeing most often, is Frank using verbal gymnastics to explain away things like biblical genocide (the flood, midianites), slavery, the apparent absence of the supernatural today and eternal conscious torment. I also watch Frank to see how Christians respond to his videos and am genuinely fascinated in their responses and the many fallacies they use to justify their belief. I’m also interested in the way in which Christians equivocate “truth” with “my belief is correct” and can’t possibly fathom that some people are genuinely searching, like me, but just aren’t convinced. I don’t think you choose to believe something - you’re either convinced or you’re not just as you’re not convinced of Buddhism, Hinduism or Islam. Hope that makes sense to you.

@Desire Of All Nations The problems of Jesus's alleged sacrifice depend on the religious belief. Is Jesus a human-looking incarnation of God on earth? If that is the case then Jesus is sacrificing himself to himself, a needless sacrifice and illogical. If God is omnipotent, then he can change the direction of all things, making a sacrifice unnecessary. Is Jesus really sacrificing himself at all, given that he knows he is going to heaven? Desire Of All Nations: So let’s see, god created people, who He KNEW would sin before he created them. So god (who is somehow ALSO Jesus), knows beforehand that He will have to sacrifice himself TO himself to appease himself for his own screwed up creation... Now that I wrote that I think it all makes perfect sense! WOW!!!!!! I’m SAVED from the hell that Jesus created to eternally torture those people he created who he KNEW would burn in eternity because he never bothered to reveal himself to them!! Genius!!!!

@Desire Of All Nations You're just another apologist who lacks critical thinking and the inability to let objective arguments penetrate you because of the powerful indoctrination befalling you. It's pure dissonance on your part. This story about this Jesus man are embellishments and tall tales of primitive people akin to our current tells of: Spiderman, Batman, Superman, X-Men, Avengers. You would think I was crazy if I walked around and told you how much Superman loves you and died for you in the movie "Batman vs. Superman", well this is what I think of you Christians. You're brainwashed as children or you have some emotional problems that you aren't aware of so you appeal to something outside of yourself because you can't handle the harsh reality of this world.

It must be pointed out that we as Christians are not judges of yhe heart, but doers of the Great Commision. We bring the Gospel, and if those we bring it to, respond with apathy, mockery, or even hostility, then we leave them be. Otherwise we must continue building meaningful relationships, being true friends, and earning the love and respect of our communities. So that they will hear us when we speak the truth.

During times of serious thought I think: In my Walk or could it be "walk" I have with the Lord? I catch myself regularly asking GOD to please help me to Repent and Believe. To help me be humble, to love others as I love myself, to genuinely reach out to others with the Gospel, to Glorify Him, to Fear Him, to obey Him because I love Him in JESUS CHRIST.
I ask this because when I look at myself (which I do quite often) I'm not striding to do all that He says. Why? Could it be because I'm hanging onto my lifestyle that I'm hoping to bring me happiness? Am I chasing what it is I want rather what GOD commands me to which is right and good?
In my struggle with self (sin) I to know what it is GOD has done for me thru JESUS CHRIST.... despite Him knowing how I am? He still paid my sin debt in His own lifes blood.... anyway??
How could I not ask Him to help me? Look what he has done for mankind's sin. So when it's all said and done it's not primarily myself who I should be looking at but at.... * JESUS CHRIST *

I’ve heard Frank Turek ask the question regarding Christianity in several videos. “If you had undeniable proof that Christianity were true, would you become a Christian?” That’s a great question. Here’s a question for Christians you rarely hear. “If there was undeniable proof that Christ was not resurrected, would you stop believing in the tenets of Christianity? Would you live your life any differently than you are living it now?”

In 2019 we have undeniable proof that Christ was resurrected. On judgement day you'll have no excuse if you don't repent and believe the gospel. That's because of the amount of light that you have, the Bible so easy to purchase, you can even get it for free online, the outstanding archaelogical research available just at a simple click of a button. As Jesus said, it's gonna be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement, than for people living in 2019. Because they didn't as much light as the world has nowadays, especially in western countries where you don't get beheaded for being a christian (yet, the time will come when that's gonna happen here as well).

Nobody can say for a hundred percent guarantee that they know what happens to us when we die. All we can say is that we choose to believe one thing or another. So the most honest answer you can give somebody is to say that this is what I believe to be true. Secondly nobody can tell you what truth is. They can only tell you their perception of the truth. Just as convinced as you are that you are right that is exactly the level of conviction that Muslims have. I believe that they are mistaken but they cannot display any more evidence than I can. So the most honest answer you can give someone is to Simply say this is what I believe to be true. That is why people are called believers.

What about those who died in Asia Africa and America's before the gospel reached them? My argument is that since ancient times good has always existed alongside evil just like in our modern times. There were those who believed in God and chose to do right by God while the rest chose to practice witchcraft, sorcery, magic, divination and idol worship as they sought to submit to their carnal desires. I believe God reveals himself to people in different ways just like he used to during the time of Moses, abraham and other prophets but people chose to do evil due to their sinful nature just like in our modern times. All people are accountable to God whether or not they have “heard about Him.” The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). If it were not for God's grace, we would be given over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. He does this for those who continually reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).

12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Everyone will hear the gospel. God has a way for them to hear it. Even though God knows the outcome. I dont agree on him with this one.
      Isa 59:12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
If we know no other way we cant be judge? We must hear the gospel first.

Joeseph Lebon Joeseph Lebon Good morning I wanted to give a few verses because your response to believing what Jesus says about Himself seem reasonable enough. Jesus always spoke in metaphors and parables and becoming the perfect human was how God showed how we should model our life like Jesus.......... Gospel of John 10:30 “I and the Father are one” .......Gospel of John 14:11-14 “Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”
‭‭(No other messenger of God have authority to say to ask for Him only God himself).....Gospel of Mark 1:24-27 “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are- the Holy One of God.” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him. And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”..( No other messenger or prophet before and after had the command Jesus had. Even angels rebuked demons in the name of God but not Jesus. Every person he healed he did it without the need to say “ with the power of God I rebuke you”
      Book of John19:30
“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
‭‭(Now isn’t that a weird thing to say before dying? He knew He had to complete this in order for our sins to be forgiven. His blood represented the sacrificed lamb of Passover)
‭‭Book of Revelation 22:12-13 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
‭‭(The only person that can say this is God who manifested in flesh. His Word become flesh).
There was more than 500 witnesses who saw Jesus ascending the heavens proving His resurrection.
There’s a lot more that Jesus said that I can go over but hope this was enough for you to understand. May God bless you on your journey on finding the truth.

While it's a great explanation, it doesn't fully answer questions like, "What about the Miscarried/Died Young/Aborted?"
The answer, I think, happens to do with the fact that the Bible doesn't contain all the answers related to How GOD operate's. The Bible doesn't explain absolutely everything we want to know, it explains absolutely everything we *Need* to Know.
And, this is the other part of the answer, GOD is *LOVE* ! He absolutely loves those we fail to reach with the biblical message, the same as those who we do reach.
He will take care of it.
How? I can't rightly say. We'll be able to ask now, in prayer, and in heaven. He may answer the prayer with the how, but He will answer in heaven.

@@noname-eb3wl That's because Everyone has been under the debt of Sin.
Jesus Christ is the only human being to ever be Perfectly Blameless and therefore Sinless.
And either you're talking about the same God, or you aren't talking about the God of the Bible.
Islam is many things, but a way to heaven, because of forgiveness, it is not.
God must apply the standards for punishment to all equally, or he can't be Just.
Since God is Just, he must have payment for the Sin all have accrued. Jesus Christ's willing sacrifice for our sins, is the only way for us to get into heaven. Because we ALL are already so sinful that being in God's Perfectly Holy Presence, as unrepentant sinners, would be worse than Hell. If we weren't automatically made non-existent by his presence rejecting our imperfection.
Or are you thinking that infidels, pagans, or others who never heard from either Islam or Christianity...
Automatically are forgiven, or not punished, because they simply don't know about either?
Not that I think that happens, but I doubt that since God specifically tell's us that it is better to know & come to Faith in Christ Jesus through hearing/knowing the Word/Bible/Truth... That it is just a straight up your into heaven.
Though Jesus Christ is Loving enough that I could almost see it... But he is also Just. It is admittedly an unknown subject...
But, like I've said elsewhere, God put everything we Need to be saved, into the Bible...
FOR those who get a chance to hear that Message.
Those who don't get that Chance, Those get handled by God Himself.
For instance, many Christians who were former Muslims, report having Dreams of someone they now realize was Jesus Christ... Before they'd ever even seen a Bible. And that these Dreams, got them to come to Christ.

Well what was God's purpose for creating to begin with? The Catechism of the Church says:
"God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life."
The purpose was love. Think about any relationship we enter into. It's always a bit of a gamble where we can either have our heart broken or find love and build something lasting and meaningful together. But just because there's a risk of being hurt and rejected, doesn't mean you should never try, right?
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable." - C.S.Lewis

Is slavery immoral now only because its against our law? It wasn't against the law when we had it. Is it immoral then, too because of an absolute moral law? Can you explain such an absolute moral law without circling back to an absolute Moral Law Giver: God?

    • @maow9240
      @maow9240 5 лет назад

@Felipe Alvarez slavery is one of the most talked about complaints from atheist so i did my biblical research into what it says about slavery and yes it does mention indentured servitude and specific rules regarding Isrealite slaves from foreign slaves and how long one can keep which slaves so I'm well aware of most if not all the verses pertaining to the rules of slavery according to the bible especially since atheist love to complain about it so its best to know what you are talking about before having this conversation about this subject. As it turns out most atheist just read that slavery is in the bible but that's really all they know because of their opinion that slavery is wrong without a real justifaction as to why its wrong. For the most part people are of the opinion that "slavery is wrong because its wrong" which is what every argument against slavery amounts to which is circular reasoning which atheist also loves complaining about people using circular reasoning when they are perfectly fine with using circular reasoning when it fits them but to better explain the ashiest objection to slavery what is ultimately being said from those saying slavery is immoral is that "i don't like slavery therefore it is wrong" which is not how we determine morals at all because if all it takes to declare that something is immoral is simply just "not liking it" then i could say "i don't like to eat beets therefore eating beets is wrong so it is immoral" yeah morality doesnt work like that so it isnt going to work to conclude that slavery is immoral.
Anyways after the last 8-9 or so months of conversating with several people on a weekly bases about the topic of slavery(even black people and no i haven't been punched yet) what can be taken from all the info we have is simply "slavery in of itself is not immoral but its how you treat your slaves that can be immoral" so if you can justify why slavery is wrong/immoral without it just being your opinion I'm all ears and an willing to discuss biblical slavery with you. So is slavery moral or immoral and please explain why? If you ask me why it would be moral i will respond like Jesus did with the pharisees " i will answer your question when you answer mine" so I've already asked my question and would like to not have to repeat myself but i can repeat something if something needs more clarification. Thank you for replying to me and i hope to hear back from you. Have a good day

God isn't bound by time, because He exists outside of time - think about that.. He knew before the world was even created who would be His true followers. This video reminded me of the same thing. Is it true that if even one person on that island wanted to hear the truth, that God would've allowed it in their hearts to let him in and speak? Or is it that since God is all-knowing, knew these people would always reject the truth, and hence has them isolated...I also think of Genesis 18, when Abraham pleads with God not to destroy Sodom if as many as 10 righteous people live there, God agrees...But God already knew that there weren't 10...Probably not even 1, other than Lot...It makes for a good debatable topic.

Sorry I can’t reason with the idea of God creating humans and placing certain ones deliberately in darkness to await their own destruction. That is the very definition of injustice. I believe the answer is as simple as honoring God with what you’ve been given. Even if that’s just your conscience. To whom much is given, much is required.

Romans 2:12-16 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

      Continue to Romans 3
9 What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, 10 as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." (Romans 3:9-12, ESV)
Our conscience and nature (environment) testify to the presence of God. As such, even those who claim never to have heard of God are condemned since the environment and our conscience testifies of His presence

The problem is that Frank completely dodged the actual question that was asked and just made a bunch of irrelevant assertions that didn't have anything to do with what was asked. I'll present the same question in the form of a scenario. Suppose you have a remote village in the middle of the African rainforest. The villagers have no TV, no internet, no phones, and no awareness of the outside world. The villagers have also never been visited by foreign missionaries and thus have no bibles, nor any knowledge of the gospel message, nor the ten commandments, and no means of learning about Christianity. There is a 20 year old man named Kwame who lives in the village and is well liked by his neighbors. He is honest and has never stolen anything in his life, but is guilty of idolatry under biblical law because his people practice their own native religion. Also, Kwame has been eying a young woman who lives near him, so he is guilty of adultery in the heart. One day, Kwame climbs a tree to harvest coconuts for his village. He falls from the tree, breaking his neck, and develops severe internal bleeding. He helplessly lays on the ground, with 3 minutes to live before he bleeds out. What can Kwame do as he takes his final breaths to be forgiven of his sins and avoid eternal damnation, having never heard the gospel?

Kwame has a conscience. He knows he shouldn't eye the young woman. In his heart, he can make excuses for that or submit himself to God in repentance. The best way to know if someone is sorry is if they stop doing it or take no pleasure in going back to it. In Kwame's village some men are faithful to their wives and other men cheat.

    • @cosmiclawnmower9818
      @cosmiclawnmower9818 2 года назад +2

@@blakeavila4409 There are a few problems I have with that accepting that response. First off, when you say "He knows he shouldn't eye the young woman", how exactly do you know precisely what goes on in another's mind? What empirical, measurable, re-producible, first-hand evidence can you site to show that to be true beyond a reasonable doubt? Unless you, yourself, are omniscient and can read minds, that is an unprovable and unfalsifiable claim which is thus invalid. You are simply making a blind judgement about someone else and asserting as objective fact something that you have not demonstrated to be true and more than likely can't. You also seem to be suggesting that we have the ability to suppress our natural instincts, desires, and urges. I don't see how that is possible. I accept that we have the ability to choose how we act and behave in response to those 3 things, but that's it. Free choice of action does not equal free will, the latter of which I thus don't believe we actually have.
Also, unless you are a bible believing Christian (which does not apply to Kwame in my pretend scenario), what basis would a random young man have for instinctually believing that eying a young woman is actually wrong? If we examine this through the lens of consequentialism, how is it rational to believe that sexual desire in the mind is wrong, since there is no wounded party as a result of this? No victim = no wrongdoing. I can't speak for others, but I personally, never had this inclination and until someone can produce a corpse to demonstrate otherwise, I am unconvinced it is wrong.
Furthermore, what those in the Christian community often refer to as "adultery in the heart" or "looking with lust" is actually describing the natural, instinctual, hormone-driven sex drive of humans (libido in scientific terms). It seems like you are overlooking the obvious fact that humans require this for our continued existence since we reproduce sexually by nature. If men and women didn't desire each other sexually, there would be no further reproduction and humans would just die off and become extinct.
The bottom line is that the idea that simply looking at another person and desiring them is somehow immoral is just barking mad.
