If you get one of the top versions, it'll be able to run a lot of stuff and boot quickly (with a SSD). The battery life is ok, I use it plugged in so can't tell for sure, and the camera is considerably grainy for me, but still acceptable. All in all, I'm happy I bought this laptop

That's because international variants have the 256ssd .. In India it's either 512gb SSD or 1tb HDD with Ryzen 5 3500u. Its HDD only with 4gb for Ryzen 3 3200u variant.
Got mine cheap at WalMart for $199.. so the money I saved went to doubling RAM and installed a 250GB NVMe M.2 2280 card -> runs smooth now.. all for $89... wow

I jave ot with 512 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM - it doesn't help at all with speed, it still can't play a youtube video without terrible stuttering because of the terrible AMD A6 9225 processor. So today I bought HP 255 G7. Same configuration but the processor is Ryzen 3200U. I bet it will be much better. And the price is the same plus a free bag (simple one but still...). I'll update my comment if I remember it. Anyway, avoid Lenovo S145 model because it's terrible and you'll just be frustrated. Now I'll have to sell it online, ugh...
the only big problem i face with this machine after using for 2-3 months is that its really hard to keep it clean no matter how hard u try it becomes dirty with touching so try to buy a darker color i think dark grey or black is available

I got mine few days ago with i5 10th gen., 8 gb ram, 512 gb ssd and W10 installed for $660. Its fast as hell. My concern is the battery which lasts only about 2-3 h most while doing schoolwork or playing low-specs games (Football Manager 2020) with disabled location services and bluetooth . Luckily I have a 12 month warranty for the battery. Do you think its an issue with the battery or is it just the battery life as it’s supposed to be?

It's pretty good but it does need some help with gaming. My own is one of the higher level ones. But i do recommend if you're gaming like me you should put your power levels on max. But if your just not playing game 24 hours like me it's is spectacular for school work or entertainment. But i do recommend you get one of the higher level ones. The base one is literal garbage.

You've probably already made a decision but hell no, this computer is literally worthless in every application. This is hands down the worst computer I have ever used, not just owned. Out of the box, it literally could not and would not play netflix or youtube videos.

Yes. I bought this version two months ago for400€ and it isn't comparable to the one shown in the video. I don't do video editing so I can't really speak to that but anything on an amateur level should work. Anyway, it's fast in most everyday uses and I think most people would be happy with it.

It will automatically turn to sleep mode when you close it and it will also automatically start up when you open it. You can also put the laptop to sleep without closing it by clicking start then the click power, then choose sleep.

I bought this laptop yesterday to replace a Toshiba Satellite laptop that ran Vista and later upgraded to Windows 7. I immediately installed 8gb of ram because I'm not trying to work with a slow laptop. My laptop comes with a 1tb drive and has AMD Radeon R4 graphics and runs Windows 10 S mode, but I changed that to regular Windows 10 since the programs I use aren't available in the Microsoft Store. The touchpad doesn't work at all for this Ideapad. You definitely need a mouse. That's the only flaw of this machine is the touchpad (the toshiba sattelite touchpad worked better than this laptop!) For basic word processing and light internet use and light gaming, the ideapad works well.
Yes! An external webcam would significantly improve your video quality. Make sure to buy a webcam that supports higher resolutions. For example 720p or 1080p.

i'm not the person you're searching for but where do you use it for? considering celeron is really not a great chip for medium tasks nor gaming (my previous laptops was powered by celeron), you can either buy a new laptop or change your HDD to SSD to make it boot faster and upgrade your ram to at least 8GB (16GB max.). This is not userfull at all. I can see IdeaPad S145 (Model : 81W800C3IN) with FHD, 10th Gen CORE I3-1005G1, 4GB RAM and 256GB SSD but it does talk about only one variant.
The SSD is a must. Without one, don't expect the S145 to power up quickly.
Once you have an SSD, it'll all work just fine.

i'm not the person you're searching for but where do you use it for? considering celeron is really not a great chip for medium tasks nor gaming (my previous laptops was powered by celeron), you can either buy a new laptop or change your HDD to SSD to make it boot faster and upgrade your ram to at least 8GB (16GB max.). @itsZ🖤 really smooth, but it sounds like an airplane, it's not built for gaming but my dumb arse was too stupid to know the difference between a gaming pc and a high performance work pc, if you need a budget pc for gaming then this isn't it, there are cheaper ones out there that do better, but if you want a high performance work pc then this is perfect.

This is not userfull at all. I can see IdeaPad S145 (Model : 81W800C3IN) with FHD, 10th Gen CORE I3-1005G1, 4GB RAM and 256GB SSD but it does talk about only one variant.
