You are by far the most conscientious woodsman out there. Very impressed with how you dug out the peat, built your fire, extinguished the fire with water and then put back the peat. This should be required viewing for all wilderness adventure seekers. Leave nothing but footprints and take only memories. Top Job 👏
You all probably dont care at all but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Luis Dominik thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you for such an informative video, simple but great ideas to know when on a Hike by oneself. Never ceases to amaze me how beautiful our environment is & to those accessing its enjoyments on offer are so fortunate & we on the net can enjoy it with you too. Thanks again, very serene & very peaceful to watch.
This has inspired long-held desires to escape to the woods. When I was little, I wanted to be a mountain-woman. That got snuffed out since that isn't "womanly". Bah! Learned a lot so far. Love that there is no talking (I use a tarp because blah, blah, blah..." No music but the ambient forest sounds. You start something and I'm hooked thinking, "What is he doing now? What is he making?". Keep doing you, Swedwoods!
Hi! it is highly inspiring what you do and the way you interact with the place where you are, especially the care you take with the vegetation where you make your fire. Greetings from Argentina
Congratulations on reaching 200K subscriber count. Always enjoyed your nature videos and I've been inspired to get out more myself into nature. Keep up the great work and thank you for the wonderful videos.
Ways superb videos👍. Love the misty morn, the cooking, and the silence. Learned about the lamp oil... did not know. Thanks for including ingredient list!
@@Swedwoods i wish i could give you something back for all your amazing videos & mind therapy, i know a lot of work is involved. All i can give you is my grateful thanks.
Great video, you are the favourite nothern outdoorsman for me! The way you build up your shelters and the way you cook with this minimalist outfit is unbelievable. Stay safe and greetings from 🇦🇹 🤠👍
CONGRATULATIONS ON 200K well deserved, shared to my group with a new name now called...Lavvu owners Worldwide...as always another great adventure with stunning secenes and amazing food being cooked...atb
its the swedish LK35 military backpack. i have the same one. you can get it from military surplus stores for around 50 usd. added a hip belt to mine too which i think makes a huge difference. Its also popular to replace the straps with alice straps for increased comfort.
I like to see a man who like a bit of food with his butter!🤣. That was a serious amount of butter you put in that meal, I like to use butter to fry in, but my arteries clogged up just watching that!🤣😂 Really enjoy your videos by the way.😃👍
I was two years ago during a summer in the forest of Sweden, and unfortunately the ground used to be flooded and there was a lot of mosquitoes, and it did not get dark all night, so I recommend carrying 1) a hammock with mosquito net 2) sleeping mask
I can wholeheartedly say that I am enthusiastic supporter of your channel! Jaysus; enough gushing. Thanks for the hard work you put into your channel. As always, beautifully shot. The video of you with your son on a previous video reminded me of my boy back in the day. I just wish you would have made bacon on this video. Heading into the bush next week, sans frying pan holder. ;) God Bless.
As usual, watching your cooking makes my stomach rumble, my friend; you taught yourself well! Also, I very much appreciate your efforts to leave your campsites clean and in the original condition that you found them. This is, sadly, not a concern for many campers in my own country.
I was born and rise literally in the jungle...this remind me those days. Quiet, calm, peaceful. You bring food from home but us go to the jungle to get food. Like they said, forest is not a place to visit. It's home. Thanks for bringing us this home.
Appreciate you for taking the time to include not only the artistry, but the small camp details like a knot or an evergreen spout filter. And the occasional captions are nice too.
No matter where you go the forests look and sound the same in the northern hemisphere. You were walking through the woods and it was as if you were in my forest here in Poland. Good luck to you and your wanderings.
What a beautifully filmed video! Great looking meals! Sometimes it’s nice to watch without talking or music but just the sounds of the forest..take care from Canada ❤️ 🇨🇦
It is truly a satisfaction to be one of your subscribers, every second of your videos is a real delight! Would not change a thing! Friendships from France
I've got to start grabbing a sandwich or eat a whole turkey before watching your videos from now on. I'm starving 😫 Great video again 👏 That was a beautiful forest

Speechless as always ❤. Running water, footsteps, Saw, Burning Fire etc. Everything made me felt its presence. Your work is natural like this beautiful nature.
That moss covered forest floor is just awesome to me . Nothing like that around here . Brats cooked in butter topped with bacon. Sounds heart healthy to me 😁 .Have a buddy in New York that does videos . Die hard fan of the Palaka’s . Awesome video as always.
Brother Swede👍👍 Another well filmed and presented video, thanks for the hard work to bring us along👌 Beautiful wild forest there, the drone footage really shows the expanse and density. I could see being totally alone there for many moons😉 Nice heavy duty poncho and medium size pack. Now that looked like a dinner for a guy getting ready for winter😋 Won't be long until the cold weather gear shows up, a welcome relief from the bugs no doubt. See you next time. Enjoy!
I’m always so jealous of these vids and even vids from the west coast here in the states. Out here in the eastern woodlands undergrowth is so thick it’s the closest thing to a jungle besides the jungle. It’s almost impossible to ground camp with a lot of work unless you find a pine forest. Your lucky!
the meal looked delicious, great tips re burner, so well organized (as usual) enjoyed seeing you resting for once ! followed you on your path happily and safely😄 thank you for the lovely time🍀🐞🍀
Uhm what a dish. I should come to Sweden to hike - and not only for those pretty delicious mushrooms. I like your cooking, including the covering of the fireplace after use. It takes one to know one, I presume.

Excellent food there my man. We have a similar cooking style and ingredients. I have 3 dofferent sizes of the old carbon steel skillets and they are great for backpacking. Light but capable.
Thank you for the 30 minutes of peace. Hello from California,USA.
