@@bfproductions9270 Hi there glad this all helped! - Just googled what fire stick is and that's an amazon thing right? I don't have any experience of that I'm afraid, but can you just not use the firestick and then just play the sega separately? Best wishes

My MD2 came with a scart connector in place of the a/v and I have a terrible audio and video signal, I have since used it on a few MD2 with the same issue, I guess it's possible I could have been sold a fake cable, my question is, keeping in mind that a scart connection is better quality than an a/v should I go for the scart or a/v this time round? and which reputable online stores should I buy from (not ebay or amazon) cheers!

Nice! I love streets of rage 2! - I actually had a copy of 3, I sold it on ebay, it was worth a good amount of cash! - I've recently just played through the original Sonic games again!

What can I do if my modern Samsung TV have two red inputs, one white input and one blue input and another one green but no a yellow input, I hope you understand my message, because I don’t speak english so good.

I've got a component connection at the back of my TV. Connected all bits to the right colours but only get sound. No video. I've then tried all other available ports but still no video. Argh. Help please
Hi, sorry to hear that. Have you tried all the settings on the TV, such as AV etc?
So.. my tv doesn't have the yellow white and red, nor does it have a scart input. It has a standard Ariel socket but only a digital receiver (No analogue receiver ) I have HDMI and usb sockets only

Didn`t work for me. I just bought one last week and ordered the AV cable plugged into the Mega drive and my Smart TV. But the screen stil stays black, I blowed a couple of times into the mega drive and game and rebooted it a couple of times nothing. Tried a different Sega game still nothing. Any tips? or should I get it repaired.
Hi there, really sorry to hear that. Is your a sega console like mine or is it one of the other generations? Has it ever worked, or has it been years since? Mine hadn't been used for probably 8 years and it took quite a while to get it to work again. The fact that the screen goes black is a good sign that the cable works and it's picking up the signal. I'd try as many games as you have multiple times, these things can be quite stubborn! As I said, mine took a while to get going again! Hope it works!

Hi there, thank you for watching & commenting! - I checked through my purchase history on ebay and I can't find the exact advert I purchased the lead from but I did find the original title of the advert that I purchased:
'NEW AV Cable for SEGA MEGA DRIVE 2 & 3 Genesis Composite RCA Audio Video Lead II'
After typing that into ebay / Amazon I found a few leads that are similar. Hope this helps! - Love your channel btw!!

@@aarongarcia3594 Hi Aaron, no such thing as a dumb question! - Yes you do need those cables if you're connecting your sega to a modern TV. You can use the oldschool sega leads with very old TVs, but even then they're quite temperamental from my experience. Thanks for watching & I hope this helps!

I did the same but it shows weird as it stretches all the way to the right but has black borders on the top, left and bottom sides
Sorry to hear that, have you tried looking at the the ratio sizes on your TV settings in the menus?
probably a stupid question but thats why my sega doesnt work on my tv , because the old splitter doesnt work on modern flat tv's ?
Not stupid! I'd say yes, absolutely the leads are totally different. All my old original sega leads are useless now and also very confusing! Best to upgrade. Thanks for watching!
