In AEW he’s a baby face in a heel group who refuses to use a move that’s never won him a match anyway wrestling competitive 20 minute matches against guys who are barely on tv let alone win matches
As always, the simplest solution is probably the most accurate. As much as the markiest of AEW fans attempt to deny it, every single year Forbidden Door season sees a huge drop in ratings, and theres always one week where the rating shockingly tanks. When your baseline of viewership is 200k less than it was in the past, when that huge tank happens, the number ends up even shockingly lower than before. At some point someone in AEW will figure out, even AEW fans don't give a crap about Forbidden Door
It will never be corrected because Tony will never admit that he is wrong. Unfortunately he has an army of hardcore AEW sycophants who defend him so he thinks he is doing well.

To be fair at least HHH would make sure Ospreay had a good introduction and storyline if he had signed. Well, this is his job.
Imagine thinking that making The Young Bucks your company's glass ceiling will even be able to sustain 502k 😂😂😂
That someone should be Tony Khan but he’s too proud to admit he’s the problem
AEW has killed themselves and NJPW has destroyed their own credibility by getting in bed with them
Could be correcr
It will never be corrected because Tony will never admit that he is wrong. Unfortunately he has an army of hardcore AEW sycophants who defend him so he thinks he is doing well.
“There always a reason”. Funny how he never even entertains the idea that the reason is that AEW is bad TV…
This rating should be a wake-up call to Tony Khan letting him know people have no interest in watching wrestlers from cmll AAA New Japan. Most of it is because they are brought onto the show without any kind of story for backgrounds and they just have a match

Ratings are low, it’s Kendrick Lamar’s fault, one minute to Wapner 😂

CM Punk leaving AEW was like when AJ Styles left TNA. It was just totally gone and changed forever. Bryan and Vinny even stopped following it at that point. It went from 2nd place to 4th behind RoH and NJPW, even 5th if you count NXT's golden years. AEW has been in a spiral since last fall and they really need to stop touring, save money, run Daily's Place like the Impact Zone and hunker down.
