Nah, the Adam Copeland promo was cringe. It felt like he was hugging Tony but wasn't. AEW's biggest problem is that they see criticism as "being negative." If you don't correct the things you're doing wrong, you never get better. You don't improve by ignoring feedback. If we blasted Vince McMahon for ignoring it, we should do the same for Tony. Tony is treated like a Make-a-Wish kid who's off limits and you can't say anything bad about him.
Nailed it. That was an on-air hug to Tony Khan that Copeland felt he needed to give since he's bilking millions off of him. It felt like a pathetic display of pandering, brown nosing and placating to the emotional wimp boss' hurt feelings.
It gave them barely over 800K. It wasn’t worth it. AEWs momentum is at an all time low, and nothing will change until Tony leaves the booking to someone else.
@@afd19850 Punk going after WWE was perfectly fine, he was expressing his genuine views and feelings and unleashing truth. The WWE changed and improved with HHH so him coming back was fine.
I’m not defending TK in any way but there’s a difference between him and other bookers..TK is a spoiled rich kid that’s probably never seen a real fight that close..rich people don’t live like us ..Vince grew up in the biz, and he was just as jacked as the talent..it’s understandable that TK was legit scared.. I’ve climbed 150ft towers when I was a youngster on a weekly basis , maybe that’s a dealbreaker for you.. the thing is everyone experiences life and fears differently..there’s a saying don’t judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes ..
@welding_guy7524 but then he decided to start a wrestling company lol The dude should be forced to wear clown shoes in a big red nose that makes a dog toy sound when you squeeze it for the rest of his life or at least for the rest of his time in wrestling. I had really hoped that it was an exaggeration to say that this dude was a dork but the fact is he might be the nerdiest, wimpiest human being on the planet.
Tony khan- “there was pushing and shoving we had to fire him, he created unsafe work environment ” Tony khan “tune inn next week 2 guys will fight to death in a no rules ,razor blade , barbed wired laceration match, with a ring surrounded by 500 watts of electricity and explosives,”
The worst part is that with AEW ratings going up due to the footage it only proves that PUNK = RATINGS... Watch viewership drop now that there's no more Punk videos left LOL
kinda reminds you of the republican party lol.... 'ya this guy we are nominating is garbage but he plays for the home team soooo we gotta do everything he says!!!''
Goes both sides dude. So many Punk-stans backing him for assaulting a co-worker. The tribalism is on both sides. Tony and Jack are in the wrong too but Punk has no right to put hands on a fellow employee. Tony needs to sort his shit.
I hear about this, but the amount of dumb reality cop shows with CCTV footage used, seems a little... hypocritical lol But yeah AEW should not have done this.
I honestly thought (initially) that it was going to be a comedy mock skit making a joke on what we all saw happeneing. Have a good laugh about something negative that happened so everyone could move on. There was NOTHING to gain from showing the footage as they did while there was EVERYTHING to lose from it... And they still went through it. Tony Schiavone reaction pretty much tells the whole story.
yes even more so actually if u can't control yourself and not abuse your strength and capabilities and just use them for bad you're irresponsible and a danger to society
You can’t assault people backstage because it’s a “combat sport” but people like to let celebrities get away with things that would normally land you in hot water
Compared to all the other alleged backstage brawls and issues, JUNGLEDOUCHE and Punk was the equivalent of a minor two minutes for roughing in hockey And what Punk said on MMA Hour pretty summarized what was seen in video. WB Discovery may need to reevaluate their involvement with Khan and AEW
@afd19850 ehhh... I wouldn't say that. Triple H's message was kind of clear. WWE wants people who fit what they want. There's nothing wrong with that. Triple H isn't wrong and neither is Ospreay.
That whole "triple h is only there cause he banged the boss' daughter" thing was ok 20 years ago. But since then, not only has triple h proved his worth a hundred times over, but he and his wife are happy, have a good marriage and beautiful kids. Nobody with a sane mind is still acting like they only have a marriage is convenience
2 pushes and a 3 second choke, there was no punch. Only thing AEW did was show that Punk basically told the truth lol. And the monitor knock over happened because Jungleboy went for a double leg (which lead to the choke) and moved Punk backwards into the monitors. I would push too if somebody came close and started saying stuff like that. You don't throw a punch with both hands lol...
AEW saying "stop with the tribalism" is hillarious when Tony apent 3 years shitting on WWE. TK just cant handle karmic bitchslap and is lashing out more.
the fact kayfabe backstage brawls happen all the time in wrestling, and aew decided it was smart to use 9 month old footage as a jumping off point for a story is hilarious. i mean aew itself probably has had dozens of backstage kayfabe brawls since september. haha
It's the wrestling business, it's not an ordinary workplace. It's a completely different set rules, you're mostly dealing with muscled up dudes full of testosterone, you can't compare it to a 9-5 office job where you want to feel safe.
Exactly. Plus why didn’t Eddie or Andrade ever suffer consequences after they smacked Sammy at different times? This wasn’t the first scuffle in AEW, wonder why it scared Tony’s dumbass.
Honestly, I can understand the sentiment that yeah, you want to feel safe at your workplace. However, I think there's more than enough information out there that really points the blame at Tony's feet for all this. According to Punk, who hasn't lied so far, he went to Tony multiple times to sort this shit out. Tony did nothing. Punk isn't even the only one to have to stoop to smacking a bitch in AEW. Look at Andrade, and even Eddie Kingston. There is a SEVRE problem with that company where superstars have to go to physical altercations to get things done and solved, and all of that rests squarely at Tony Khans impotent feet. This isn't an incident in a vacuum, and that needs to be considered when talking about CM Punk, Jack Perry, and AEW as a whole. There's a real cancer going on causing it to be a hostile work environment.
I hope we get a segment with Punk and Drew on Raw this week. Punk shoves Drew, gets him in a headlock and then they separate them and Punk yells at HHH as he's being dragged.
Aew is based in usa, so anyone who wants to sue them for anything would have to go to usa to sue them, so usa laws aply, To take their money, because their money is in usa, they have to sue in usa, otherway they cant take a dime, unless they have some uk branch
No one in the history of wrestling has ever been handed so much to them, an entire wrestling company, and been able to run it into the ground so hard, not even Dixie. Tony should run a clown show, he would be a perfect fit.
Legit thought you were talking about CM Punk at first. Tony Khan made him the top star, gave him his own show, probably was paying him the most in the company, and Punk just drove it all straight off a cliff with that All Out press conference. CM Punk and AEW were done on that day. Tony Khan tried hard though to keep it together with Punk by making a new show just for him. Punk some how screwed that up as well. Tony should have fired him after All Out. Punk was never really a big ratings draw for the company, and after All Out all he did was bring more and more negativity energy to the brand. The morale in AEW really did improve after he left.
@@KinzuNight so Punk is the problem because he's honest, gotcha. Besides, if Punk is such a problem, what does that make Tony Khan, the idiot who refused to let him go even after Punk asked to be let go? Stop defending Khan, he's in over his head and not equipped for the job, period.
@@KinzuNight CM Punk's promo at the All Out press scrum was top tier. Interest in AEW was at an all time high and literally anyone but Tony could have made money off of that. All Tony had to do was convince the Young Bucks to work a program with Punk, but he couldn't even do that.
He had more money than Vince, national prime time tv slot and the goodwill of fans that had waited two decades for new wrestling. And Tony ruined any chance at anyone ever trying to compete for multiple decades. He destroyed something gift wrapped to him
Agree with Dolph on most of it. Though I would slightly disagree with the last bit. It's not about "Oh this is normal, it happens all the time on the job." It's something that does pop up on rare occasions, it's what's going to happen with humans, eventually two will butt heads. Though we can't forget that Punk was dealing with the Young Bucks and Perry pestering him for how long? The whole kicking down his locker room door and beating him up for example? So how long was Punk supposed to just let these guys mess with him? Eventually someone has to teach respect to those who aren't respectful, that's all Punk did cause Tony wasn't doing his job as boss.
I love how TNA guys can say whatever they want about both WWE and AEW like they have nothing to worry about. TNA is like the wild card in the whole operation
Poor Tony Schiavone and Renee Paquette were about to vomit live on air. Tony completely embarrassed two employees and didn’t embarrass cm punk at all 🤣😂
Would of been a cool angle if FTR would of somehow stole the 'tape' and when the Young Bucks (live) would go to play it after entering the ring and explaining how they would narrate the events, FTR would show on the screen, 'smash the tape' or something along those lines, cut a sick taped promo... but the Young Bucks can't cut live promos.
I grew up a Prowrestling fan so I watched all of it. I watched WWE,NWA,WCW, World Clas, EcW everything Prowrestling. Now these fans can't be just fans they get tribal like they are part of the wrestling. I dont think they are really wrestling fans
Trying to tie it in with the Bucks/FTR storyline made no sense.. and I mean zero. One had nothing to do with the other, no matter how hard the Bucks tried to twist it, it was completely illogical. I want to like AEW, competition is best for the industry, but they make it very difficult with bullshit like this. I really wish Tony would remove himself from the booker position, and hire or promote someone with experience to take his place. He's fine at making matches, but terrible at storytelling, and an even worse Boss of talent.
TK is still the boss even if he isn't booking he's the guy everyone looks to I never met him but he seems too nice for this business. MJF had it on the nose when he called him a mark
The Sad thing is they actually have smart and very experienced people working there but nothing gets passed Tony and it’s all Tony’s toys and pet project
Theres two things to understand. 1. The only reason this was done is because Tony is a petty billionaire man-child who can never take the high road. He will use any platform he has available, no matter the financial cost to have a dig at people. Agree or not, Punk did it in an interview. Tonys response was on prime time TV, dragging the network and performers into his revenge moan 2. Tony has done something i never though possible, united the most die hard WWE and die hard AEW fans in believing this was terrible. Tony has done a wonderful thing for the business, i used to watch AEW, I love the wrestling on it, but i also watch Boxing and UFC. WWE gives me more what im looking for, in the story capacity. So I have no bad feelings on AEW, its just not for me, but that doesnt change the simple fact. Fans have that variety, Wrestlers have more places of employment, those companies are becoming closer in terms of exposure and contract sizes. TNA isnt the step down it was, NPJW isnt just the Japanese company, ROH is going strong. Tony has done a wonderful thing. Book your show, get off twitter and into the writers room. I dont agree with the shots HHH takes, but at least hes doing his job, and doing it well.
This whole "unite the fandom" thing is absolutely absurd. I don't like and watch every space show and movie or eat at every cheeseburger place. I'll like the wrestling I like, and make fun of the wrestling I don't.
Damn right, I'm not gonna pretend the competition isn't trash just for the sake of fans ego's and soft feelings. Get better and your company won't be made fun of simple
Couple positives.. Everyone has seen it, and knows there isn’t much to the situation. Now it takes away some of the controversy of Punk and Perry so they have to find new things to talk about.
It'll probably still be Punk related though. Remember when he left Mark Henry said pretty much the same thing when Punk was fired? "The problem is gone, so now we can stop talking about it and move forward." Yet, here we are.
nah, the drama will not going away anytime soon. Thing is, when it comes to CM Punk, people will start to treat him like he was a terrorist and child murderer, he was so hated that even people starting making bets about when he got fired again yet the same people keep listening to things that he has to say and some people making Memes out of it and refuse to see a bigger picture like even without CM Punk AEW is still had a problem and drama that it will keep coming.
Only watched Aew for Sting. Loved when they first started. They have really gone downhill. I go to every double or nothing in Vegas, might not be going this year.
Remember the Pittsburgh Steelers versus Cleveland browns where the player tried to hit the other player over the head with his helmet. You never heard anyone feeling fear for their life then. And Tony Khan is supposedly tied up with the NFL?
It's actually pertty funny of you put your own dialog on the video it's hilarious 😂 I can't wait for the elmo cookie monster voice over parody to come out! Lololol
I don't usually watch Botchmania but going to watch the next one lol. But I wouldn't blame them if they skip it since AEW has been on a copyright strike spree...
The fact that the messaging from week to week is so bi polar really drives Punk's point home; Nobody is in charge. I think at this point, the only way AEW starts to get any credibility back is if Tony Khan takes a step back from the creative role, instead opting to take a more hands off approach as owner, and hires a GM who has real authority to run the shows and deal out consequences, and a head booker for each show to keep the creative consistent and fresh. Also, I'm pretty sure The Young Bucks have to go. Even if this wasn't their idea (which given how much of this drama they are directly linked to, I doubt it) They are still the face of this fiasco, and having them on TV every week will just be a reminder of that.
I'm just a casual fan. Watched AEW a lil in the beginning and the beginning of the Punk return. I tuned in Wednesday saying IF this can capture my attention? I will give AEW another chance. So I tuned In, saw the Segmant. Then immediately shut it off and won't go back. Not because I'm a Punk fan, but because I got absolutely Nothing from that segment. I've seen the Bucks and FTR wrestle at least 4X in the minimal AEW I've watched. Hard pass. Peace Out AEW
I think a large issue in relation to the Triablism is how AEW started. In reality it was created because Cody had a lot animosity toward WWE (whether you think he was right or not is up to interpretation), a group of indy acts (Bucks and Omega) who wanted to prove that they could take down the WWE. Then some of their top stars have been fairly vocal about their hatred for the WWE Mox, Storm, Mone, FTR, Danielson to an extent so I do think there is something about the general disdain from AEW that does not help some WWE fans want to support AEW and feel far more protective. Obviously Khan seemingly being a rich fanboy does not help. Make no mistake WWF/E and McMahon specifically has a ruthlesss history and has not always done things in the best way or in the best light (WCW v WWF/E although hard to compare as the online world has changed so much since the Monday Night Wars) but it does feel in this day in age the arrows are coming more from one side than the other. Regarding Punk I do not think, even if you are a fan, would argue that he was in the wrong and has a history of being a brat, but seems to be a draw. Also it does feel like the WWE structure is built in a way to perhaps prevent some of the chaos from him.
So u are suggesting that let AEW die and we can go back to WWE having the monopoly again? U seems to suggest that AEW wants wwe to be dead, that was never the plan just like cody said he wants AEW to be a Alternative to what WWE was doing. I remember in 2010s the wwe fans were calling for end of monopoly of WWE because how complacent they have become, deserving talents were buried, the product was thrash. AEW did that, so when Triple H took over and finally listened to fans complaints, they suddenly turned on AEW and what it represents. It showed they were bandwagon fans to begin with, they never cared about AEW progress. AEW made pro wrestling better, i have respect for both WWE talents and AEW talents except for CM Punk.
@sarfarazhussain5411 Clearly, you are a hardcore AEW fan and assume any critique is anti AEW, which is unfortunate and ironic as it speak to the tribalism argument. To act though as if though the creation was not built in disdain for WWE and then to watch the actions of their owner and some talent talk about how awful it is can make it hard for people to be a fan. I grew up with WWE, WCW, ECW, ROH, and local indies in town and enjoy wrestling. However, when you attack the alternative, you will alienate folks. WWF learned that with the statt of the Monday Night Wars and WCW, unfortunately, at the end. While also I agree competition is a good thing and there being a theoretical competitor drives a better product TNA has been around for years as had ROH. Vince being a creep d aging out so new blood with a different perspective came into creative I argue has had a fairly large impact on any WWE improvements.
@@Goods702 ur point does. This is not reasonable criticism of aew but for what it is. TK has his own flaws and i have issue with it but he has done more for wrestlers whether it is for their well being etc. Vince and his cohorts are Rotten piece of shits who mocked pro wrestling fans. WWE still has some problems although some has not improved. Go and read my comments what i stated about tribalism. AEW never took shots at WWE unless they are attacked hell even punk did most of them.
@sarfarazhussain5411 I have no issue with AEW. You clearly have an issue with WWE and as a fan you can like what you like. Regarding Punk I am not a fan and was opposed to bringing him back. To act thought that Tony Khan and AEW are never part of the tribalism I cannot wrap my mind around. Dynamite was specifically scheduled to undercut and destroy NXT. My whole point is AEW I believe would perform better if they focused on theirown product and you would draw more fans. As I said before WWF/E learned as did WCW ahitting on your competitor or alternative does not turn out well. Again, I want the men and women of AEW to be successful but to wear blinders that the current qpproach probably is not beneficial I can't agree with. Also I agree vince is a dick I said that above, but Id avoid a morally superior approach since lots of questions and history related to Sammy G, Jericho, Osprey, and the companys approach to health ser Matt Hardy. i am not putting down AEW or saying one is better, but the facf there is a delusion that WWE is the big bad wolf and all tribalism comes from them and their product is just not factual. In fairness, I'd agree they have been around much longer and for that reason non fans when you say wrestling picture WWE and maybe even WWF which perhaps leads in to some baked in tribalism. All I can say is one company , recently, has gone out of their way during their shows to specifically directly undercut one. Again WWE are not angels, but you cant wear blinders that the showing of footage stunt was not built in to simultaneously undercut WWE while using their / Punks popularity. Frankly, debatable how useful any of it is as those of us on this board in the IWC make up such a small portion of the fanbase long term probably is not a needle mover
@@Goods702 AEW trying to undercut NXT? Are u joking, it was wwe that decided to put NXT against AEW. Yeah i agree with Sammy, never liked the guy and especially how he cheated on his previous GF and married Tay. Jericho stuff i cant say since there is lot has to come out, as per me he has to go for a while. I am not calling for WWE to die, i believe they should exist as their way of wrestling should exist and people are fan of. But WWE should stop pretending as if other wrestling promotions doesnt exist or insult the wrestlers for not choosing wwe.
Nic Nemeth is a true professional wrestler, in and outside the ring, and one of the best sellers, if not the best sellers in professional wrestling that I've ever seen.
I worked in security in CCTV for years and I'm just confused as to how they could legally show the footage without Punk's permission? I wonder if that is why they are copy-striking everyone?
9:50 the comments are filled with marks who can’t understand this! Just enjoy all wrestling. I’m happy WWE is doing decent now and let’s be honest it’s all because of AEW the competition they brought made WWE to finally push themselves and I hope the best for AEW so that we all fans keep getting banger shows.
I myself have promoted zero shows but even I know you do not air one of your competitor’s rasslers beating your guy in any form of a fight whether work or shoot
Nic's brother works at AEW and has been a very outspoken CM Punk hater. Not surprised Nic would say CM Punk threw a punch and Jack Perry tried to take him down. No, Perry got front face locked after talking trash. Also, Perry told Punk "Do something about it." It would not be case closed for assault.
That part about feeling embarrassed about being an AEW fan, I can see it. I may even have felt it if I didn't mind just being honest being like "yeah that was stupid".. but I am honest and I think it was terrible.
The Bucks were backing being done. They have alot of control as they are legit EVPs. Now this shit is biting them in ass. Made the crowd chant CM PUNK 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. IDK what they though they would accomplish
I've been a casual wrestling fan for 38 years and I remember watching wwf and nwa/jcp back to back on Saturday afternoons in Baltimore and the weekly shows have always been interviews, squash matches, vignettes and angles. We remember pipers pit with the coconut not the jobbers on that same show wrestling coco b ware. That is what Trip's is bringing back to WWE saving the big matches for big events.
The whole reason they showed the footage was to create buzz around Jack Perry. Because of it his Scapegoat shirt completely sold out in all sizes, as well as his Cry Me a River shirt from NJPW. He's getting over because of it. This was a high risk move, and if it was to help get Jack Perry over.. they nailed that part of it. I think the worst part about this, is that AEW might have some legal issues by showing CCTV footage that might go against GDPR from UK Laws n what not.
This footage only makes Jack Perry look like a complete goof. His shirts are selling because AEW fans hate the WWE and will do anything to try and stick it to them. It's the same reason that over 10,000 people bought tickets to Wembley even though they couldn't actually attend. They spent their money just so Tony Khan would win some "most tickets sold" record that no one, up to that point, ever cared about.
I haven't seen the footage because AEW is going out of their way to scrub it. Which tells you everything. I actually felt bad for Tony because it's potential for embarrassment outshines his infamous "that'll put asses in seats" rejoinder but then again, Tony can now live that down because another Tony and the Bucks went into business for themselves with NO upside whatsoever. That's how I predict Bischoff will react: "There was no positive, no upside to this footage - only blowback and embarrassment to be had! Pure madness." This is unfortunate because now we know the truth: there is nobody in AEW that can save Tony Khan from himself. None. Vince McMahon would've NEVER aired this footage. You can almost hear him bristle at the mere suggestion: "What the hell is the matter with you?!? You seriously want to MAKE this capacity crowd chant for somebody no longer on our payroll by clearing the air with backstage footage of how that employee became an ex-employee?!? I can't believe you'd even suggest such a fucking thing. Unless you want to become an ex-employee yourself. Are you out of your God damned mind?!?" Insanity. But that's Tony Khan - the Jeff Gannon of Sports Entertainment! 🤣
It was probably a bad idea to move to AEW. If he had retired from WWE, he would have been one of the greatest legends ever. Continuing with AEW was not only unnecessary (since he has achieved everything in his career), but also stupid because it reflects poorly on his legacy.
@@TheUncleWulfhe did that because of Christian, when edge had to retired in the early 2010s it was said he wanted to retire by having a match with Christian or something like that in Canada
I think Dolph is forgetting Punk wanted nothing to do with the situation until he was asked to help and he told them what would happen and they still wanted his help.
People seem to forget one small detail: Tony did a promo on his show saying he TERMINATED CM Punk. CM Punk said: "This place is a fucking joke. You are a clown. I quit." He wasn't fired. The guy QUITTED.
I think quite a few people still owe an apology to CM Punk. Me included. I feel sorry for doubting him, there were so many people on the other side against him for months, I figured that where there was smoke there would be fire. Instead there appears to have been a group of people that were making a concentrated effort to remove him from their company, and some of them still wish to ruin his reputation months after he has been removed. Sickening to watch how it all turned out. I really liked AEW and appreciated what Tony had started up years ago, but it's a lot harder to do so now.
No match involving the Bucs, could ever be considered “great”. And no, people say “yeah that’s what expected” because that’s how men, you know back when it was ok to be a man, handle their issues with each other: you handle it, it’s squashed, you move on. Nobody says that because they think life is a video game.
I get tired of this idea that as a wrestling fan I must support all companies at all times or if I don’t I’m called a tribalist. First of all I don’t care what people think. Second I like what I like and that is how it goes. I do not watch independent wrestling. I do not watch AEW. Hope they succeed for the business overall for the sake of pro wrestling in general but I will not using my time paying attention to them. People don’t like it then tough cause I don’t care. You won’t force me to like something because you name call me.
Nic makes a good point about if they make it a story then they could be making the best out of a bad situation but I doubt they will. They had a great opportunity after Punk came back from injury but they did nothing with it. TK seems lost on how to capitalize on things.
This came off all wrong. I understand why it was done. People are going to say what they will. It was meant as a countermeasure. It was an epic fail and made the company look bad.
If they fired Punk for this why didn't they fire Kingston for punching Sammy bc he called Eddie fat? Why didn't they fire Andrade for punching Sammy? Why didn't they fire the Bucks and Punk after Brawl Out? Why does Sammy get punched backstage regularly? They should turn this into a running gag.
punk quit. aew did the you can't quit you're fired, shtick
Because Punk didn't blow smoke up his ass I assume.
Punching Sammy is fair game, apparently.
The excuse was Punk already wanted out. This was his sendoff. He wanted out since the All Out scrum.

If you don't correct the things you're doing wrong, you never get better.
They could’ve done the exact same angle and not shown the tape. Showing Punk kicking the ass if one of their own wrestlers didn’t do anyone good.
Exactly AEW needs Tony Khan to step aside and let a full creative team take over to put out a competent wrestling TV product.
100%. If you look at their numbers for the year so far this wasn't some outlier. They had similar numbers 8 weeks ago.
The ratings have basically remained about what they were before Punk. Yes they have lows, but on average they're running about what they did pre Punk.

Tony Khan needs to fire himself.
WWE still has some problems although some has not improved. Go and read my comments what i stated about tribalism.
No, Perry got front face locked after talking trash. Also, Perry told Punk "Do something about it." It would not be case closed for assault.
Nic is so valuable to Busted Open.
Is this footage "Finger Poke of Doom" levels or "That'll put butts in the seats" levels?
I still can't believe that in the year 2024, The Real World's Champion made an appearance on Aew TV. Still it's top draw too.
RIP Aew (2019-2024)
Ha.
That part about feeling embarrassed about being an AEW fan, I can see it. I may even have felt it if I didn't mind just being honest being like "yeah that was stupid".. but I am honest and I think it was terrible.
AEW = All Embarrassing Wrestling
True 🤣
They spent their money just so Tony Khan would win some "most tickets sold" record that no one, up to that point, ever cared about.
there is no way in this world that jack perry will be over lol
Eric Bischoff once said, "Controversy creates cash. "
Tony khan is a grown adult playing with real life toys. The fact he's saying he was scared to "death" is hilarious and pathetic.
Adam Copeland make a joke himself
He is pathetic
It was probably a bad idea to move to AEW. If he had retired from WWE, he would have been one of the greatest legends ever. Continuing with AEW was not only unnecessary (since he has achieved everything in his career), but also stupid because it reflects poorly on his legacy.
@@TheUncleWulfhe did that because of Christian, when edge had to retired in the early 2010s it was said he wanted to retire by having a match with Christian or something like that in Canada
Serious question: how did this sell the match, AT ALL?
I think Dolph is forgetting Punk wanted nothing to do with the situation until he was asked to help and he told them what would happen and they still wanted his help.
People seem to forget one small detail: Tony did a promo on his show saying he TERMINATED CM Punk.
CM Punk said: "This place is a fucking joke. You are a clown. I quit."
He wasn't fired.
Imagine any wwe fights being promoted to be shown on live tv for ratings
Nic speaking facts 100%. Happy Nic decided to join TNA 👏👏👏
Nic makes a good point about if they make it a story then they could be making the best out of a bad situation but I doubt they will. They had a great opportunity after Punk came back from injury but they did nothing with it. TK seems lost on how to capitalize on things.
TK: What do you want me to do?
Jungle joke got manhandled lol. He'll never be any more in the industry than what he already is lol
This came off all wrong. I understand why it was done. People are going to say what they will. It was meant as a countermeasure. It was an epic fail and made the company look bad.
