@@origenjerome8031not really it's not the same as human interaction. AI is still in infancy stage. Maybe within 20-30 years they can replace human language teachers.
@allynsworld8317 I'm not sure if you have experienced it, but a lot of telephone customer service agents today are actually AI. It would take you a couple of minutes before you realized that you were having conversations with a machine. Many people would have hung up not knowing the person they spoke to was not really human. It's impressive.
Another amazing video, Jared. I really do appreciate your hard work. I sometimes cringe though when I hear you say “jowa” when you’re referring to your ex-girlfriend or to “girlfriend” in general. The word “jowa” although acceptable but it’s very informal and at some degree can be disrespectful. “nobya” is more formal and more appropriate when talking about a “girlfriend” in a formal conversation setting. “Nobya” is a Spanish word but we spell it in Tagalog.
Hey man, i have a question about your ometv videos. How do you get so many filipino people on there, when i try i only get people from my own country even though i change it to philipines. I even tried changing my own device’s location to philipines and that didnt work, so I thought you might have some tips for me.
Dude, I grew up in pinas but in US now and I am learning these new words from you. Example, you are such a Marites! Tama ba? Mali dahil may halong english, haha!
Tama ka tita is auntie and Tito is Uncle so true..Ang ate ay sister or brother Filipino people keep changing the Filipino words.. I'm from the Philippines 🇵🇭 pero dito Ako sa America nakatira matagal na..and Asawa ko ay American Navy retired..Ako ay senior na at nagtatrabaho pa din kahit senior hehehe.. maraming salamat sayo..have a wonderful day
Wow! He sounds really good in the tagalog language. Im impressed with those people who could speak different language. I think Vietnam, Chinese, German, are very difficult languages to pronounce.
Yes correct sir asul derive from the spanish word azul, but the tagalog word for it is “bughaw”, berde or green is also from Spanish word the tagalog word for it is “luntian”, or “lunti”.
Born and raised Filipino lived in the Philippines 15 years before moving to the States I'm learning some new Tagalog words from your conversation like ex never knew in Tagalog because when I was in the Philippines I used taglish when I hear bisaya I catch lil words like hearing Mexican speaking I catch lil words and I kinda assumed and understand lol much props to you guys ps taglish is ok😅

Maraming salamat sa pag aaral ng tagalog language...mabuhay po kayo mga kaibigan.
There could be an opportunity for you in Harvard to teach Tagalog as the language is now being taught in Harvard.
Of course they won't hire a foreigner teaching Tagalog. They would hire a licensed teacher , Native Filipino.
ChatGPT is now making language teachers obsolete, sadly.
